Sunlight peeped in through the windows. Avni stirred a bit and and looked around only to find the other side of the bed empty.
'Maybe he is freshening up' she thought.

Her thoughts were disturbed by a phone call. It was from an unknown number.
"Hello" she said.

"Avni bacha how are you? " said Neela.

"Mom I was missing you so much" said Avni.

"Bacha there is something I've got to tell you. It's about your sister's death",  said Neela in a serious tone.
Avni hummed in response.

"Your sister didn't die in a car accident, she was murdered by your father", said Neela while dropping the bomb.

"What?" shouted Avni.
"Mom please tell me from the starting", said Avni while composing herself.

Flashback

It was a cool summer evening in Ireland. Mia was watching the sky while stroking her belly continuously. The continuous ring of the phone call broke her reverie.

"Hello di how are you?" asked a chirpy Avni.

"I'm fine",  replied Mia.

"Hey, don't be sad. Have you spoken to Mom about it? "  asked Avni.

" Avni I am afraid. What if Dad gets to know about this?  He'll surely kill me", said Mia.

"Di now it's a high time, you've got to tell her about this. Moreover it's been four months since you're hiding it", said Avni.

Mia sighed and dialed a number.

Mia: Mom I am........ (while crying)

Neela: Mia you are scaring me. What happened?

Mia: Mom, you remember Vidyut?

Neela:  Oh! yes, I mean he is the son of your father's business rival, right?

Mia told her how she was four months pregnant with his child.

Mia: Mom, he promised me that he'll talk to Dad about us. But he left me alone. He's not even picking up my calls.

Neela: Mia how could you be so childish? We both had sent you there to crack a business deal not to have an affair with our rivals.

Mia: Mom please don't tell Dad about this. He already hates me because he thinks that I am behind his property.

Neela: Mia, I understand that he us your and Avni's step-dad but that doesn't mean he hates you. I'll not tell him but as soon as the child is born you have to send him to an orphanage. I'm coming okay, don't worry.

India

Neela: Vijay I'll have to leave for Ireland urgently. Mia needs my help regarding some business matters. I' ll be there for some months. You take care of Avni.

Vijay: Okay, go but take care of yourself and Mia too.

Neela reached Ireland the next day. She took Mia to the hospital for regular checkups and made sure that no one else gets to know about this.Five months had passed and Vijay began to have a doubt on them.

It was the 9th month of her pregnancy. Mia started having pain, it was becoming unbearable for her. She was taken to the hospital, after some time Mia gave birth to a baby boy.
Because of a normal delivery she was soon discharged from the hospital. During this team Neela was a constant support for her. Mia was getting back in shape and Aman, well he was the apple of their eyes.

Here in India, Vijay was getting worried day by day. He had got the information of Mia and Neela going for regular checkups. He couldn't find any reasons of them going to the hospital.
"Sir we have got the full information, Mia is pregnant that too with Vidyut's child."

'I shouldn't have trusted her, I'm not going to spare her' thought Vijay.
"Avni pack your bags we are going to Ireland" he shouted.

The day which both Mia and Neela were dreading had finally arrived. They sent him to the orphanage with a heavy heart.
After coming back they found both Vijay and Avni sitting on the sofa.

"OH, what a surprise!!  You didn't tell us you were coming ", said Neela while trying to bring surprised expressions on her face. Avni had already informed her about their arrival.
" Mia you look tired", he said.

"Dad it's such a hectic schedule lately and on top of that this business thing", she said trying to hide her nervousness.

"Mia, can you accompany me to the castle if you are free today? " said Vijay.

" Yeah, sure" she replied.

"Dad I also want to go" said Avni excitedly.

Little did they know that their lives were going to change forever.
