'just one more step and I'll be in school. Come on girl you can do it.' ah! Yes, these are the words I'm mumbling to not let me fall on my ass in the road.

Wondering? What is going on?

Then let me enlighten you. Last night I couldn't sleep and I also missed my bus so I decided to walk. Which by the way. Thought that was a good idea, but it isn't.
But who cares at least I got in the school. and yes, I've to cope up with the plan. So clothes for today are just a little bit fancy just to look smoking hot. Ugh who I am kidding? Can I ever look like this?

Yes. Yes. I know that but don't need to rub it on my face. The red strapless knee-length dress is perfectly hugging my curves. And my hairs were also loose.
Because I've thought let's just do everything this time finally.

But still, I'm conscious. It is about self-confidence about your body and about yourself which is not good in my case.

Vess stood at the school building waiting for me along with him furious Dylan also stood.
As I came to the scenario. I realized that my mission is got accomplished. Well not full, only halfway through it but I can deal with it.
Everyone was staring at me with their mouth hanging open.

Yes. Got attention this time finally.

"Wow someone is looking smoking hot," Vess uttered, but she engulfed me in a tight hug as soon as she saw me.
And just a rippled voice squeezed the air from my chest. Then I realized my zipper on the back was undone.

And she just saved me from the biggest wardrobe malfunction of the century.

'Shit!' I muttered under my breath.

"Don't worry when Vanessa is here."  and by letting me go from her warmth she again proved that she is the best in this world.

"Wow, ladies hang on. I didn't know that you are going to come out of your closets. I think I heard something broke in my body. Off! That was my heart. Why have you kept it a secret? Why didn't you told me that you have a less-"

Vess gave him an attack on his lips to shut him up. Great. now we have an almost wardrobe malfunction a melodramatic speech for human rights. And of course some public display of affection to attract everyone's attention.

And if that was not enough to pop out everyone's eyes from their socket. Another thing is yet to come by the looks which my dear friend is giving to her boyfriend.
After kissing him, She slapped him on his chest and punched him also. But not before saying, "I thought it would be unfair to only break your heart? Why not break your muscles and chest too. Here take this, you mister."

You know you should join her.

Yeh, that would be perfect isn't it? Idiot. However, before I could think not just by standing there looking like a dork. Dylan already has kissed her with more passion than she already shuttled her mouth and lost herself in his arm.

At least they both found each other in their little argument.
"Look. This is exactly what I'm talking about." I heard a voice in my ears from my behind. It's almost like yelling.
"What the hell are you trying to murder me by failing my heart ?" I yelled, meanwhile looking back to see who the hell has taken the position of Sherlock Holmes in this school.

"Oh no. Not you again." I muttered under my breath by seeing Cole in his nerdy look.

"Yes. I am. Look this is what I'm talking about public affection. Don't do something like this ok." he uttered.

Oh my god. He is back with his stupid attitude telling me what to do or not!
Can't he just mind his own business?

"Dylan man behaves this is a school, not a club to show your affection ahead of the public." he smacked Dylan on his head.

"Ouch!" he rubbed his head as he let go of Vanessa.

"Cole so finally you come out from your closet man. Look at you how cute and sweet you look in this dress of yours an-" he cut off by Cole grabbing him from his arm and walking towards the janitors.

"What do you think they are going to do there?" Vess asked in her worried tone.

And I smirked, "since your boyfriend is so obsessed with the closest thing. I think they went there to open the secret passage for Narnia."

And we both laughed.
Walking to the hallway where our lockers were situated. I decided to bring up the topic of her family. "Vess, you said you were going to tell me later but you haven't told me anything till now."

I looked into her eyes. But she avoided the eye contact. "Don't you want to tell me?" I uttered in confusion.

"No. It's not that. It's just I don't want to tell you here. I want to get drunk for tonight and just want to get drunk and want to forget about everything then I'll be able to tell you. No, don't say no to me if this idea seems to you stupid. There is a party which is thrown by the popular kids. There would be free drinks and food. So what says Just you and me with drinks?"  she bobbled out whatever was in her stomach.

Well, that sounds fun!

Yes. You should go. If this is a party thrown by the popular kids then most of the school would be there. And it is the best chance for you to get the official title of playgirl on your head.

besides, one-night drinking with my girl wouldn't be harmful. At least It would make me feel like I have a normal school life.

"Yes. We are going." after declaring this wholehearted plan of ours we headed towards the lockers just to grab our stuff.
With a sudden sound of a click, I opened it and what came ahead of my eyes was the written poster which was glued at the inside corner of my locker.

'SLUT' yes that was what written in it.

I mean seriously?
What a rubbish epitome to bash at me.
I should be angry or confused and everything, but I'm chuckling.
Oh not because I suddenly became mad. It's because I've not done a pinch of anything in my life still I'm getting the title of a slut!

Though which makes me understand that those who want to take revenge on you and wants to put you down can talk shit. Because they are shit! Fucking shitty shit people, but I don't care because I'm not just a once word that is described by others.
And no one can fucking put these titles on me without my consent. As simple as it is I refuse to take these titles.

"What the hell? Who did this?" Vess yelled, angrily as she snatches that poster from my locker and turned it into pieces by scribbling them.

"Oh! Someone is trying very hard to grab attention." A very familiar voice that I've not heard in these past days invaded my thoughts.

"What the fuck? Veronica, you did this?"
Vess's yelled at her.
And I just stood there thinking about what I've done; that this girl has gone so much far to do this.

I don't understand and it may sound stupid, but I have always thought that Veronica can never insult a girl like that. After all, she is also a girl...
However, now I got it. Anyone can do anything just to put others down.

"Calm down Carlson. Don't get me to start with you. And you Amanda, look at yourself in the mirror then you will realize that you are a loser, a cheep dressing sense girl. Why are you even here? You lose the competition!"

Wow! I didn't expect that "seriously, you are still at the competition thing?  Do you have your own life or not? Or you just have to be nosy in others life. And I don't understand why are you so much persistent about me losing and calling me a loser. You won. Ok be happy for yourself
Why every time trying to make shout that-  you are a winner and I'm a loser. the whole school knows it then why?
And you know what? I thought that you were better than this, but no you proved me wrong. Are you a girl, aren't you? Because what you did by putting that poster of yours who was calling me a slut was not at all appropriate. How are we girls going to be in power when we each other put down shamelessly? Tell me? And about you calling me too cheap so let me tell you one thing. Cheap is not a word to analyze. It's a mentality of human beings. So yes I know that my mentality is not cheap and absurd. Now can you step aside? Because I have a class to attend."

"Ok whatever" then she ran away by muttering these words. Well good for her.because I have a speech prepared specially for a situation like this.

"We should kill Her!" Vess whispered in my ear.

"Why kill her with your hands? When you can kill her from your intelligence." I shot back.
"I love you, Amy, you are the best." she took me by surprise and hugged me."

"I know I'm the best."

Really?

I was trying hard to note down all the questions and supposedly to answer them in time.

"Pssst!"

"What?" I asked Vess.

"After school, we are going for your job right?" she asked while raising her eyebrows. Oh boy, I know that I've missed yesterday's opportunity. But now I'm not going to do it. However, if I did I'm gonna stuck here for a month when this is the perfect opportunity because my mother isn't here.
So yeah. This isn't time to sit around and do a job. It is a time to find, my father, to know after all this time where is he?

"Postpone the job thing for one month," I told her.

"And why is that?"

"Will tell you in the night." because as it sounds simple to let go of all the information from your chest to another human body it is not.

"Bro you light up my world as nobody does. bro," Dylan's voice chimed in.

"Bro, let me study." Cole's reply was short and cult.

"Brooooo! Let's do our bro thing tonight." ok! First of all, they are seated behind us and continue bickering like a married couple.

"What thing?" Vess asked them confused.

"It's a top-secret in which girls are not allowed," Dylan whispered.

"Dylan but someone here can't be considered as a girl." Cole coughed.

You know that he's pointing his finger towards you!

Yeh. I know that right?

"And someone here can't be considered as a normal human being." I bite back.

"And someone has not listened to me,"  he complained again.

"And why can't someone understand that I don't want anybody to tell me what to do!" I shrieked, maybe more than that I yelled which has caught the attention of Mrs Hamilton.

"Amanda Parker, you have something to say? Then tell the whole class about it. We want to listen to it."
And here goes nothing, then the whole class started chuckling and whispering.

"Yes. As I was just trying to say that this question can be so much easier with this formula of Euclid's." and then I saw her the formula from my book.

"Fine. But this type of behaviour won't be acceptable understood?" she declared and all I did was nodded my head.

"Now, who can solve this question?"

A question has been raised ahead of the class.
As usual, I shot up my hand, but for the mere revelation Cole has solved the question faster than me.

Is this the same boy who had asked for your help in Maths?

Trust me. I don't know.

The last bell has announced to us that the school hours have finished for today.
I was heading towards the washroom when I heard footsteps around me
"Amanda wait!"

"Joseph?"

"We haven't talked last time, so I'm asking are you coming to tonight's party?" he stopped from running.

"Yes. I'll catch up with you there." I told him.

"Here this is my no. Save it please." he gave me a small folded paper.

"Oh, ok," I mumbled.

Then he went towards the playground to do his practice.

"What did he gave you?"
I almost jumped from horror when I found Cole by my side.

Is it the ghost or what?

"That is none of your business," I told him.

"Give me that paper." he tried to snatch it from my hands.

"Oh ho I'm not going to do whatever you say. Do you understand that!"

"You know then what will happen," he huskily whispered as he came closer to me.

No no, no high alert! Runaway now!

"Shut up and get lost!" I said as I ran towards the washroom.

"Why don't you listen to me?" he complained like a child.

"First of all, I'm not a girl enough for you then why you are here?"

Oh shit!
What the hell I just said?
Can't I keep my mouth shut? Oh god, now he will know that these words affect me.

"Oh yes, you are not a girl enough for me. You are a woman enough for me."
