Boy names are not held to the same expectations as girl names. Their names really don't matter. Whether the boy is nice or a jerk, he can still have a normal name. Unlike with girls, unusual/strange names are not needed.

So don't make things harder on yourself by trying to come up with a magnificent name for a male character, whether he be the crush or the bully or someone who doesn't matter in the story.
