The sun sets on the first day and the sky darkens. How many tributes will survive the night?

Lavendernose had already explored her area and realized that there was no water nearby, so she decided to move on. She knew there was water at the Cornucopia, so that was where she went, heading south at a slow but steady pace, keeping an eye out for danger. 

Ravenwillow kept up with his current strategy of putting more distance between himself and Fourtrees, so he spent the night traveling east, then continued south when he reached the edge of the arena, going deeper into ThunderClan territory.

Troutdip felt fairly safe where he was in the corner of the arena, so he spent the night exploring the Twolegplace. He didn't find any herbs, but he did find a hidden water source outside a twoleg house. Troutdip took a drink, feeling hopeful. 

Stonewave explored his area of WindClan territory, but didn't find anything of interest.

Russetflame desperately needed to heal her wounds from her battle with Birchfrost. She explored throughout the night, and luckily happened upon some small herbs. She tried gingerly applying them to her wounds and successfully recovered 1 HP. 

Nectarsting thought that the cover of darkness would be a perfect chance to track down another tribute - maybe she'd be able to steal an item. Nectarsting manages to track down and ambush Lavendernose dealing 1 damage to Lavendernose and then flees to the southeast.

Sunsetpelt felt tired after the long day of traveling and curled up to sleep next to the river. 

Dawn'slash tried to hunt but was unable to catch anything.

Snowpatch explored her surroundings and found large herbs.

Mizzlesky went west, crossing a thunderpath unharmed and found herself in Windclan territory.

Cloverskip got some rest.

Pineclaw went to sleep.

Copperburn drank water from the river and then hit the hay.

Sharpwhisper drank water from the cornucopia and curled up to sleep.

Nightwhisper drank water from the barn and then explored the barn. While exploring the barn, she activated an arena trap. Two dogs appeared catching Nightwhisper who tried to flee. The dogs and Nightwhisper began to fight. Nightwhisper managed to deal damage to the dogs but was eventually killed.

A wolf howls. Nightwhisper is dead! 

Duskstone explored the area around him, finding small herbs and a hidden water source. He drank from the hidden water source and used the small herbs to recover 1 hp.

Waspthorn travels southeast, reaches the eastern edge of the arena and continues south.

Mizzlesky and Duskstone find themselves nearby each other. Duskstone attempted to flee but Mizzlesky quickly caught him and attacked. After much fighting, Duskstone emerged victorious but is now moderatly injured.

A wolf howls. Mizzlesky is dead! 

Lavendernose and Sharpwhisper notice each other at fourtrees. Lavendernose moved in to attack, but Sharpwhisper fled northwest running into Duskstone.

Duskstone and Sharpwhisper found themselves face to face both having just gotten out of their own battles. Neither wanted to fight and Sharpwhisper fled to the southwest.

The moon sets on an arena with two fewer tributes than before. There were 2 deaths this chapter. 

It could be a trick of the light, or the stress finally getting to the tributes, but the stars seem to arrange themselves to form the images of the deceased.
