Dawn's assumptions about May's packing were real. May had packed only a few of her clothes, some party wear she might need while the maximum space was occupied by food.

Dawn had woke up early in the morning. She was thankful to herself for packing her bag the previous night. She had unpacked and repacked May's bag already, and her hair was tangled from all the effort.

When Misty returned from the washroom, she goggled at her blue- haired friend," Gosh Dawn you're looking like a raccoon. Have your bath I'll do the rest."  "You're a saviour Mist," said Dawn," I'll be fast."

May returned from the toilet next room. She threw the door open and barged in. "I am back!"she exclaimed. "Great, now help me will ya?" asked  Misty. May jumped to help. She was exceptionally good at packing, especially folding clothes. She set about work immediately.

Packing was not a problem if May was around. They finished packing within half an hour. Their luggage consisted of one suitcase each, Misty's violet bag, May's red rucksack and Dawn's blue and green bag. Misty checked the watch.

"The train would be coming in another two hours," she calculated," if we set about within fifteen minutes, we will reach before half an hour. The train leaves at 8 o'clock so we can load our luggage."

Dawn reappeared from the toilet. She tied her hair. " Not again!" she cried," not another hair day, not today, please." "C'mon Dawn," said the self-sufficient May,"  don't be such a baby." May tied Dawn's hair for her.

The three dragged their suitcases and carried their hand luggage to the common room. There was a round of hugs and many girls shed their tears while bidding them farewell. "Life will never be the same without you guys here." said  Mrs. Minns. She planted a very watery kiss on each of their cheeks.

As the placard of Lyceum Hostel slowly disappeared from their view, Dawn sighed and said," God knows how this school is. I am sure it is filled with spoilt brats." May comforted her," You're such a pessimist Dawn. Think of the food they serve at the canteen. I am sure it's not merely margarine and bread!" The other two giggled at the comment.

When they reached the station, the train had arrived. The platforms were as usual very busy. The girls managed to load their luggage on to the train and walked through the compartments, searching for an empty one.

"It feels like we are going to Hogwarts." said Misty dreamily. "Actually, I thought that too!" another voice, which belonged neither to May nor too Dawn, piped up. They turned their heads  to see who had  spoken.

It were two girls, a honey blonde and a brunette. The brunette waved," Hallo!  I am Iris Wood and this is Serena Yvone." said Iris pointing to the honey blonde sitting next to her. Serena added in a small voice," Hello. I am Serena. Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too Serena and Iris," said Misty," I am Misty Waterflower, this blue haired girl is Dawn Berlitz and this mad is May Maple. Hope we can be good friends. "  "And if you don't mind," said Dawn,"  can we sit with you?" "Sure!" cried Iris and Serena in unison. The five of them laughed. Misty,Dawn and May had already made two new friends!
