Once we reach my house he looks over at me.

"Can we go back to being friends?", he asks pleadingly.

I shake my head no and get out of his truck. "She wouldn't like that", I respond.

"Who?", he questions.

"You know who", I look down at the blacktop. I feel his eyes staring into me.

"Britney...", he whispers. I feel tears well up into my eyes. I quickly grab my backpack, and shut the door.

I reach my front door and hurriedly unlock it. I run inside and look out the window. He is still there. His beautiful sad eyes staring at the front door of my house.

Why did she have to ruin our friendship?

Ugh!!

Suddenly I feel a scaly wet line going up my leg. I screech and look down to see my brothers green snake.

"JESSEEEEE! I'M GONNA KILL YOU!", I scream. He peeks his head around the corner.

"Uh oh. He got out again", he says trying to be suprised. He shrugs his shoulders.

"Whatever you twerp. You done this as a prank. Now get him off of me!", I say getting even angrier. Jesse comes closer and gets the nasty thing off of me.

"It's okay Jax.", he tells his snake. "Don't worry".

As he walks away I hear him tell his snake, "Looks like someone is on their period".

I grab my things and go to my room slamming my door.

Why does everyone have to torture me??

I call Bella.

What is wrong? Why isn't she answering?  I thought we were supposed to go shopping??

I hope she is okay.

I wait for her to call back while I take care of a few things.

Doing my homework I think about him. What makes him want me now?

He wanted Britney. He chose her over me. So why would I even be a thought in his mind?

I ponder across many questions until I am called down for dinner. I look at my homework to notice I only finished 3 algebra II equations.

I groan. What the heck. I go down to eat with my family.

Whatever we are eating smells so good. Nobody better ruin my dinner. Especially not Jesse.
