"This is where you and the staff of the Butterfly Estate come in, Kocho."

"This is where me and the staff of the Butterfly Estate come in? Excuse me, Oyakata-Sama, but how?" asked Shinobu.

"I need your help in finding a cure to the curse. Giyuu's already given a blood sample which you can study. But that is to be done later. As of now, I ask you to take care of him, as one symbol has appeared above his right lung, and this time, it's horrendously deep. If symbols like these keep appearing, he might end up.." Oyakata-Sama's voice once again trailed off.

"I hope you can keep great care of him."

"Now, let's discuss the other matters at hand. A demon fitting the description of Upper Rank One has been spotted, near the Water Pillar's Estate."

All the Pillars, including the silent Muichiro, were surprised. 'Is this Pillar Meeting just to discuss matters about Tomioka?'  they all, now including Muichiro, thought.

(A/N: Almost all of the story will be focused around Giyuu in this fanfic, so I hope you're okay with that kinda stuff! Since this is about Giyuu, after all! ^w^)

"Giyuu fits the description of the mysterious man in the prediction perfectly. Which also leads me to conclude the fact that he may be the descendant of the first ever Breath of Water user, explaining how his family was murdered by a demon, yet, their corpses had clean cuts, of such perfection that they could only belong to the strongest demon slayer, or his brother, the brother, being Upper Rank One." said Oyakata-Sama.

"Yes, Oyakata-Sama, but why is Tomioka the only one being targeted? What about Rengoku or Tokito or any other Pillar?" spat Sanemi.

"Kibutsuji once had created a demon who could see into the future and predict things perfectly. The demon, however, hated the life of not being able to enjoy the warmth of the Sun, being forced to kill and eat humans, and not being able to write his stories and poems in peace, but he still told Muzan the chain of events which would lead to his death in the form of numerous riddles."

"One of them was 'An ocean with no waves and sapphire eyes, wearing two halves of a heart around his body, shall save the Sun, and later on, nurture and protect it with the help of others, and help it shine during the final battle.'"

"The demon had walked into the Sun after telling Kibutsuji these riddles."

"What does two halves of a heart mean, Oyakata-Sama?" asks Mitsuri. 

"The left part of Giyuu's haori belongs to Sabito, the right part belongs to Tsutako." 

'Sabito.. Sabito.. I've heard that name before..' thought Shinobu. 

"Oh, yeah! Sabito! That's the name he keeps on mumbling in his dreams! He's always saying 'Sabito, Makomo, Nee-San, Gaku...'  in his dreams like a broken record!" exclaimed Shinobu. 

"Correct. Sabito and Makomo were the names of Giyuu's best friends."

"TOMIOKA HAS FRIENDS!?!" exclaimed all the Hashira, in shock, except Muichiro and Gyomei. 

"No, you idiots, didn't you listen? Sabito and Makomo WERE the names of his best friends. In all probability, they're dead. Or they changed their names." said Muichiro. 

He proceeded to receive glares from everyone except Gyomei and Mitsuri.

The hardest glare was, perhaps from Obanai, as Muichiro had just called Mitsuri an idiot. 

"Once again, Muichiro, you're correct. You're such a smart child. Sabito and Makomo, are, unfortunately, not with us anymore, but above the clouds." Oyakata-Sama said. He was feeling a bit sad now, thinking about Giyuu's losses. 

'I hope Giyuu opens up soon. Dear God, I beg of you, please make these last few years of Giyuu Tomioka's life happy, joyful and meaningful.' 

'Curse you, Kibutsuji, you damned spirit, you've destroyed the lives and happiness of thousands. I'll make sure that you'll perish and burn in Hell.'  thought Oyakata-Sama, now with an unnoticeable aura of anger surrounding him.  

"Thank you very much, Oyakata-Sama." Muichiro said, feeling light as a feather. Oyakata-Sama's voice was very soothing and calm, and it made everyone feel as if a gentle breeze was petting them. 

The aura of envy Muichiro's fellow comrades emitted could be noticed a mile away. 

Meanwhile, the Insect Pillar's mind was suddenly flooded with thoughts after everyone calmed down.

'Wait, Tomioka-San's family and best friends died? I feel so bad for teasing him! But wait, does he wear the haori of his dead loved ones too? We have one more thing in common! Wait, calm down Shinobu, but there are so many questions to ask! I think I'll overwhelm him if I ask him right now, I'll wait for him to get better, and ask him ou- I mean, I'll treat him to salmon daikon and ask him everything one by one! wait, why am I feeling so nervous and just, AAAAAAAARGH!'

After an inner battle starring her and herself, she realized that the Meeting had been silent for a while. 

'CRAP! DID I SAY IT ALL OUT LOUD!?THIS IS SO EMBARRASSING! AAAARGH!' 

"Everybody, we've been enveloped in silence for a while after Muichiro's answer. Now let's discuss matters not related to Tomioka." chuckled Oyakata-Sama.

"Mitsuri, kindly update Shinobu on everything that we shall discuss in this meeting."

"Gladly, Oyakata-Sama!"

"What?"

"Shinobu, you go take care of Giyuu and work on the cure to his cruse with Aoi." 

"Yes, Oyakata-Sama!" 

'Crap! I'd forgotten that the curse even existed! I need to go take care of Giy- I mean Tomioka-San right away and work on a cure!'

"Take care, Shinobu-Chaaannnnn!" 

"Be safe, Shinobu."

"Thank you very much! I'll be taking my leave then!" said Shinobu, running towards the Butterfly Estate.
