I just want to give her a hug...

A few months ago a trainer by the name of _____ Infiltrated the base of Team Flare and rescued me from their wretched machine. I was thankful for her bravery and decided to accompany them on their journey. It was incredibly fun and she was very kind, I was certain I had made the proper choice in joining her team.

Everything was wonderful! We were to going gym after gym and I was helping her easily gain her badges. I was able to train with her other Pokemon and assisted them in growing stronger. Xerneas and Zygarde we're both supportive and happy for me! Anytime we could meet up again they loved hearing about her. everything was great, I finally felt like I had a purpose! Except one thing, I couldn't hug her. I saw so many other trainers in Pokemon and giving each other hugs after battles as a way of celebrating.

Now in present day we were heading to our next gym, stopping every once in awhile to battle a random trainer. After one particularly tough battle, I thought it would be pleasant to give her a hug as congratulation. Luckily for her Xerneas decided to accompany us and stop to me.

"Yveltal! What's an Arceus his name are you doing !"

I looked at her confused not knowing why she stopped me.

"I'm going to give _____ a hug. I wanted to celebrate this victory,"

Xerneas dropped her head a little, and shock. She stay like this for a moment before rearing her head of massive antlers up to look at me again.

"Did you forget you steal the life of anything you touch?"

My heart dropped when what she said truly sunk in. my mind was in shambles when I heard my trainer yell.

"That was a fantastic battle Yveltal!"

I turned and saw her running to me her arms outstretched and I realized she was about to hug me. Quickly I pumped my wings and shot into the air out of reach before she could touch me. I could see the sad and confused look on her face and it hurt me. I turn to Xerneas with a pleading look, hoping she would explain. I think she understood as she turns to look at _____.

"Listen to your child, Yveltal has an ability that steals the life-force of anything he touches. I'm afraid you are unable to give him a hug."

I watched as _____ looked up to me with a sad yet understanding look. Thinking it was safe now, I slowly descended and land on the ground. I gave her an apologetic look, trying to tell her I was sorry for this. she just smiled and looked at me sympathetic eyes.

"Don't worry Yveltal, we can still be a perfect team!"

My head shot up and hearing her say this, she wasn't going to leave me abandoned! I spring into the air and did a few aerial tricks from joy. All the while _____ was giggling, and Xerneas was swaying her head in amusement. Once I landed again I looked at her, waiting for her instructions.

It has since been a few months since that incident and we have gathered all of our badges. now we where explore, training for the league. We were currently in the forest area where Xerneas lives. She's letting his train here so I could use some of my stronger attacks since she can just regrow it afterwards.

With every command _____ yelled I executed it with flawless precision. We had been doing this for quite a while and had to take a break so I can Xerneas could fix the area. _____ and I were sitting in a clearing enjoying the blue sky. Of course the grass ring around me had died but I had gotten used to this by now. I closed my eyes and enjoyed the gentle breeze, feeling calmer than I have ever been before. That was until I heard a loud gasp and open my eyes to see _____ had her hand over her mouth. I look down to see what she was gasping about and saw that my body was glowing.

Surprised and scared I flew into the air, trying to see if I could stop was happening. of course I was still going when I was up in the air and suddenly I felt my body begin to change. As I began to morph I heard _____ scream. Finally the glowing stopped and I look to see I had legs, that's when it hit me. I float back to the ground, landing on my new legs. I was shaking and I nearly fell over since I was not used to them.

"Oh dear Arceus! Yveltal Are you okay? What happened? Why are you human?!"

I was a bit dazed from my transformation and it took me a second o register what she was saying. but before I had a chance to speak I heard Xerneas from behind us.

"It would appear Yveltal has been claimed by the curse."

_____ looked around to look at her, confusion and fear radiating off them.

"Oh, is that what it looks like when it happens?"

She looked at me expecting an answer but I could give her none. I was just asking for used as _____ was.

I looked down to see what my new body looked like when I noticed something shocking, the grass below my feet was still alive. At first I didn't register what that meant but then it hit me. As a human my ability no longer seemed to be as strong! I walk around from moment the test my theory and it was true, I even was able to pick a flower. with my new discovery I walk over to _____ to do something I've been waiting to do for so long.

"Hello _____, It's nice to finally be able to talk to you."

my voice was deep and it surprised me a bit, but it seems to surprise her more.

"If you would please allow me, there's something I've been wanting to do for a long time."

Before she could ask I grabbed her arm and pulled her close to me, enveloping her in a hug. I heard _____ gasp and Xerneas yelling at me. I made sure to lift my wings as I felt her move her arms to return the hug. I heard Xerneas's cry's die down and she saw nothing was happening. We stayed there for a moment before _____ Pulled away to look at me.

"But I thought you couldn't touch anything without killing it?"

Her joy and confusion were very obvious but I just gave her a smile and chuckled.

"I noticed when I landed on the ground that none of the grass was dying. It would appear that as a human my ability is no longer in effect."

After I spoke _____ shreecked and jumped for another hug. I laughed as I caught her and spun her around holding her close. As I put her down I looked to see Xerneas watching us. even with her still a Pokemon I could easily see her smirk and I couldn't help but smile back.

I finally got my hug...

Yes I know that this probably wouldn't be what would happen if he became human but I thought it was cute for the story. I'm also aware that that's not exactly what his ability is, but it's my story and my rules. lastly I am aware that his personality in the story doesn't really match his look but this is just what my creativity decided on. Nevertheless I hope you still enjoy it.
