NARRATOR'S P.O.V

Twilight is one of the most enchanting sight a human could behold. The soft glowing light from the sky is irrefutably spellbinding. Not many humans howbeit, wake up this early to witness the nature's art. Pity. It is believed that the twilight is the hour of Asuras (Evils) as the evil powers are quite active this time. However the town people fear no evil apart from the King of evils, The Dark King. The Aves began tweeting as the Sun was just about to rise above the horizon. The flower buds began to open up. The Apis began to land on the flowers and started sucking the nectar. The Helianthus flowers started to turn towards the Sun. A lone Muntjac deer shouted as the tiger was very near. Squirrels can be seen breaking the nut shells. Snakes can be seen coiled up on the branches of Sandalwood trees. Marsh crocodiles can be seen floating on the river, waiting for the prey. Elephants can be seen drinking water from the river. The weather was also vaguely cosy. The town looked normal except for the residents of the town. Since the day they had found out that the beastly castle owner is the Dark King, there has been nothing normal in the town. Some valiant (imbecile) people of the town tried to fight him, they are in the hospital right now. Once in every four days the Dark King comes to take a tour of his territory. He does not harms anyone but still he is a renowed diabolical king, there is no guarantee that he wouldn't harm the town inhabitants in future.

Sharanya sat in the huge balcony of the castle. It wasn't the balcony whatsoever. It was just a huge balcony kind of an area that was deliberately constructed for the sitting purposes or for carrying out small meetings. It was attached to the room of the King. She sat on the chair deep in thought. She was so engrossed in her thoughts that she patently didn't hear the sound of footsteps nearing her. The Dark King stood a few steps away from her. He was carrying a bunch of poppies that weren't completely fresh. He had kept the poppies in the water all through the course of his journey yet still some of the flowers had wilted. Howbeit they still looked beautiful. Their fragrance was still present in them. He looked at his angel only to find her deep in thought. He was certain that she hadn't acknowledge his presence till now. He tilted his head and gazed at her lovingly. She looked beautiful as ever. She was wearing a black coloured dress which was really short and her creamy legs were on display. Not only her legs he was actually able to see her laced panty. He smiled.

"Good morning love. " he said with a smile. She looked at him with fear.
"See what I got for you. Your favourite flowers. " he said happily as he proffered her the flowers. She looked at the flowers, they indeed were her favourite ones.
"C'mon baby take them. I got them for you. " he said again. She shook her head like a baby. He sighed.
"How many times will I have to tell you baby. You can never say no to me. Now come on take these flowers, don't make me mad. " he said but this time seriously. Tears clouded her eyes. She took the flowers with her trembling hands, crying.
"Stop crying. " he said as he wiped her tears with his thumb. He gently kissed her cheeks much to her dislike.
"Did you eat anything. " he asked as he caged her little body in his beastly arms. She struggled.
"Yes I had eaten sandwiches. " she replied softly looking down.
"How many sandwiches did you eat. " he queried pressing her fragile body against his masculine ones.
"Two. " she replied. He scrunched his eyebrows.
"Just two. Baby you need to eat more. I don't want to see you fall sick. Come I will feed you more food. " he said as he began to escort her to the dining room. But she stopped him.
"No I am not hungry. " she told him. He folded his arms.
"It's OK if you are not. But still you will have to eat. Because I love you and I don't want to see you weak. " he said as he picked her up in the bridal style and began to descend down the stairs ignoring her constant struggles. He only put her down when they reached the dining room.
"Slaves. " he yelled for the slaves. They immediately rushed towards the dining room.
"Yes my Lord. " they said bowing down, sitting on their knees. Sharanya didn't fancy that. She didn't like the way he treated the slaves.
"Get some sustenance for my queen. Quick. " he ordered. The slaves rushed towards the kitchen and shortly after came inside with the trenchers of food. They neatly laid the food filled trenchers on the dining table.
"So much food. " sharanya said agape. The King chuckled.
"Yes I am also hungry. C'mon let's start digging in. " he said as he gently placed his hand on her back and ushered her to the chair. He pulled out a chair for her trying to act like a gentleman which he certainly wasn't. Sharanya uttered a small thank you as he did so. He smiled and sat beside him.
"So let's see what we have for breakfast today. " he said with a smile. He started to serve sharanya and himself. Sharanya was quite anxious as she didn't knew how she would finish all the food on the plate. She began to dig in the food. She had just taken two-three bites of the bread when he had finished the whole plate. She looked at him agape. His eating speed resembled with a monster. No doubt he is a monster.
"Baby have you finished. " he asked her. She shook her head and resumed eating. He kept on staring at her as she ate. It was quite awkward for her but still she didn't say anything.
"I am full, I can't eat anymore. " she said pouting. He looked at her with adoration. He desperately wanted to kiss the pout on her lips. He chuckled.
"It's ok. You can leave it. " he said with a smile. He ordered his slaves to take the dishes away. They obediently followed his ordinance.
"Baby girl you can take rest now. I have some work to do. And yes don't try to escape. You don't want to anger me, right. " he said as he kissed her cheeks. She started to climb upstairs. He sighed.

Sharanya stood near the window and gazed outside. She could see her parents house from the window. Her eyes clouded with tears when she thought about her family. Her family tried to take her away from the castle two-three times but everytime they tried the monster would threaten them and thrashed them away. At last she had no choice but to convince her parents to not try to her away, she loved her family and she was certain that the monster will kill her family if she tries to run away. She did requested to the monster to let her meet her family once a month and he agreed. She looked down at the castle garden to see him staring at her with his obsession filled eyes which freaks her out everytime she looks at them.

She looked away. She strolled towards the bed and laid on the bed. She drew the soft blanket on her body and closed her eyes and drifted off to a peaceful slumber. She woke up when she felt someone touching her face. She opened her eyes to find herself in the arms of the castle owner. His face leaned against hers and his hands tightly wrapped around her fragile body preventing her from escaping.
"Sharanya. " he muttered breathlessly. She looked at him with fear.
"My princess I had tried to control my beast for so many days but now I can't control anymore. Besides today is the full moon night, my beast will take control over my body till tomorrow morning. Don't get scared sharanya, he loves you as much I do. We both are same it's just that he is the hidden beast of mine. " he said softly rubbing his face against hers. Just the mention of the beast gave her goosebumps. She had not seen him since she had arrived here. She didn't knew what will happen to her when she will see him again tonight.
"Nothing will happen my princess. Neither me nor my beast can ever hurt you. " he tried to explain her.
"Please no, please I want to go. " she requested with tears. He sighed.
"You are never leaving me baby. Don't even think about it. Now c'mon close your eyes and sleep. " he said as he caged her in his arms and began to pat her head very gently, so she could sleep. Her eyes started to close on her own and she drifted off to sleep.

Sharanya woke up at 7:00 in the evening. She stretched her arms and yawned. She removed the blanket from her body and stood up from the bed. She sauntered towards the window and gazed outside. She looked down at the iron gate of the castle to see the beast coming inside surrounded by the human sized wolfs, the slaves sat on their knees and bowed down to him.
"Hail the Dark King.!!! " yelled the slaves. Sharanya hid behind the curtain. Tears started to stream down her eyes. She hastily dashed towards the door and locked it. She sat on the bed hugging her knees, sniffling like a baby. Everything became silent abruptly. She looked around herself in fright. Suddenly she heard a knock on the door, she clutched the bedsheet tightly with fear. Tears kept streaming down her pretty eyes.
"Who......Who....is...there. " she asked sniffling.
"It's me Dravid, Queen. Please open the door, I have to take something from the cupboard. " Dravid said from the other side of the door. She sighed in relief. She opened the door and he came inside.
"Sorry for disturbing you, Queen. I have to take the platinum pendant. I know you must be getting scared because of the Lord. Don't worry Lord is right now busy in the rituals. " he said as he took out the pendant from the cupboard.
"What rituals. " she asked perplexed.
"Every full moon night Lord do a Yajna to get more powers. " he said as he egressed out of the room. She still couldn't understand what he meant. She sat inside the room for half an hour. Suddenly she heard voices coming from downstairs. She stepped outside the room to see the beast coming upstairs. Sweat beads started to appear on her face. She hastily dashed inside the room and locked the room from inside. She then stood in the balcony kind of structure and tried to catch her breath. She took deep breaths and tried to calm herself down. For few minutes she heard nothing but then she felt someone's presence behind her. She turned back to see the 7ft tall beast standing in front of her. She screamed as soon as she saw him.
"Mate. " the beast uttered in a breathless whisper. She started to back away from him.
"King loves mate. " he said as he started to take predatory steps towards her. She kept on stepping back with tears continuously streaming down her eyes.
"Please.......no........please....let.......me....go......" she hiccuped while crying badly. The beast growled scaring the poor girl even more.
"Mate is ours. Mate can never leave us. " he declared as he growled angrily. She didn't knew what to do, so she did what she did the best. Run. But she wasn't fast enough as the beast caught her. He grabbed her little body in his beastly arms, caging the fragile girl. She started to hit him with her tiny fists but he was a beast king. She was no match to him.
"Mate belongs to us. Just us. " the beast said as he pressed his nose on the crook of her neck, inhaling her scent. She cried harder. He picked her up in the bridal style and started to walk outside ignoring her little fight. He stopped near a room which she had never seen before. He opened the room and went inside, with her in his arms. He gently put her down. The room was gloomy, and it was scaring her. She always feared darkness. But then she saw the beast had fire on his hand, he blew the fire and suddenly all the candlabrum lit up. She gazed around herself startled. It wasn't a room rather it was garden. A huge garden of roses, sunflowers, marigold and few other flowers. A smile formed on her lips. She loved the gardens and this garden looked just like the garden of heaven. She looked around herself to see a beautiful fountain. She giggled. She loved this place.
"This is all for you mate. Do you like it. " the beast asked. She turned back. She no doubt was frightened of him but she loved this place.
"Yes." she replied softly. The beast smiled. That's all he had ever wanted. To see her happy.
"Can I stay here. " she asked hesitantly.
"Both of us will. " he replied. She smiled. She literally ran towards the roses and sat on her knees and started to inhale the fragrance. The beast chuckled. She was just too adorable. He sat beside her. She started to touch the flowers with her fingertips, giggling in the process. She was in her own world when she felt something placed on her head. She looked beside her to see the beast placing the garland of flowers on her head. She giggled. She seriously loved this place. Besides she also wasn't fearing the beast as much as before. But that doesn't mean she doesn't fears him, she still was afraid of him.

The beast was having a pleasurable time with his queen when a pesky voice disrupted him. He growled scaring sharanya in the process. Dravid entered inside.
"My Lord I am sorry for interrupting you. But a man has came and he is literally shouting. " Dravid said. Before the beast could respond, a man came inside with a bandage wrapped around his head. The man was no other than inspector parag. Sharanya looked at him shocked.
"Leave her you monster. Sharanya run. Save your life. " parag said as he struggled to walk. The beast growled angrily.
"We did a mistake by not killing you. But no problem we will kill you now. " the beast yelled as he grappled parag by his neck and raised him up in the air. Sharanya looked at him with fear. This was the real beast. The beast who was with her few minutes back was fake.
"Please no.......please.....leave him." she pleaded with tears. The beast didn't listen as he twisted the neck of parag who was slowly loosing conscious. Few minutes later, parag stopped breathing. Sharanya looked at him with tears. The beast had killed him. The beast didn't stop here. He plucked out his head from his body and tore his body in two parts. Sharanya couldn't believe her eyes. She was just speechless, she had never seen such a horrendous sight before. The beast looked at her.
"Sorry mate, he disturbed us. But see we punished him. " the beast said as he started to come towards her. She started to back away.
"You.......killed him...... " she hiccuped while crying.
"Because he disturbed us. " the beast said. She looked beside her to see the door wide open. She didn't think twice as she dashed outside. She ran upstairs as fast as she could and locked the door. She sat on the bed hugging her knees, crying her eyes out. She hid her face in her hands and cried. Few minutes later she looked up to see the beast sitting on the recliner in front of her. She screamed. 
"We love you mate. Come to us. " he said as he started to come towards the bed. She started to back away.
"Stay.........away........please.. " she begged with tears as the beast came up on the bed. He grabbed her little body and caged her in his arms.
"Mate is so beautiful. " he said as he leaned his beastly face on hers. She cried more.
"You are ours forever. " he said as he cupped her face in his beastly hands. She knew that there was no way she could escape this monster. She sat there crying her eyes out as the beast kept kissing and inhaling her, caging her in his arms, giving her no chance to escape.
