Bearpaw ran. Ran away from her clan. Ran away from her mentor. Ran to her brother. "Robinpaw!" She yowled across the clearing, "Starclan have chosen us!" Robinpaw pricked his ears at his sisters voice. It was true! He ran to his sister and sat beside her.
"Bearpaw I saw a cat her name was Sandstar and her mate was Honeygaze and she was a leader and she had a daughter and we need to save her," it all blurted out of his mouth and drifted around the clearing. He felt embarrassed. He had taken interest in the pale golden she-cat when she first appeared from the darkness. Bearpaw let out a purr of amusement as her brother told her his dream. "Have you told anyone?" She asked and her brother shook his head. He looked down at his paws, his tail drooping "who is Sandstar?" He mewed as he pawed at a small pebble that sat beside his paws.
"She was the Riverclan leader," meowed Bearpaw", anyway, let's get going to that tribe."

As the two apprentices traveled through the Darkclan territory, they came to the thunderpath. "Stay close ok?" Meawed  Robinpaw as he pounced into the hard surface. The new-leaf sun had scorched the surface of the thunderpath so it would burn their pads. They scurried along with their belly fur trailing behind them. A monster came grumbling along past Robinpaw as he reached the opposite side of the thunderpath. Bearpaw was close on his tail but the monster stopped her in her tracks. The vile smell and ear splitting roar of the monster stung Bearpaw's nose and ears as she looked around helplessly. Her brother had vanished from the place where he was sat. Had he left her? She suddenly saw a flash of brown pelt then darkness. She had collapsed in the middle of the thunderpath, not even a fox-length away from the monsters.

"Bearpaw?" Robinpaw meowed hopefully as his sister started to stir. "Let's keep going" she spluttered as she got to her paws and shook bits of the thunderpath out of her pelt. They both bounded on along the side of the thunderpath the then they headed for the mountains. It was like the tribe was beckoning them along with the breeze. They were ready to save the Tribe of Rising Dawn.
