We pulled up to the school and I see a group of popular jocks come up to our car. "Logan!" They yell as my brother gets out of the car and bro hugs them.

I blush at the sight of Gray Anderson. His beautiful blonde hair fell to his sparkling green eyes as he greeted my brother.

Gray is my brother's best friend. He used to be mine too but we just grew apart. Though he's still always over my house, but the other football jackass are too so I don't associate with them.

Still, I watch from afar and try to get up the guts to talk to gray more than just a simple 'Hi'.

Gray turned to me and met my gaze. He smiled his gorgeous teeth at me and I quickly grabbed my bag and hurried out of the car.

I walk past my brother quickly and towards a group of people a little more my style.

Even though Logan was the most popular boy in school, people tend to forget that he was a twin sister, me. He's your typical highschool football player, he even lives up to the douchebag stereotype sometimes.

I'm your typical quiet girl that people still don't know the name of event though we've been going to the same school for twelve years.

I see my best friend wave me over to our group as I approach them. "Hey guys."

"River!" Angie says as she pulls me in for a hug.

I laugh at her enthusiasm. "Why are you acting like we haven't seen each other all summer? I literally saw you two days ago."

She pulls away and laughs with me. "I know but it's the first time I'm seeing you as an official senior!"

"This it's going to be the best year of our lives!" Scarlett squeeled

"Hey why didn't you tell me your brother got so hot over the summer?" Ella asked as she watches my brother in the distance.

It's true, Logan was always attractive but he grew like three inches, got tan and rock hard abs over the summer.

I gag at the site and playfully punch Ella in the arm. "Eww, that's gross Ella."

"What!" She says still looking at him. "I mean if I had a brother that hot I might consider incest."

All of my friends laugh and we all agree that that's totally gross.

The bell soon rings and all four of us head inside for the first time as seniors."

We reach our lockers and start to put our things away. "I have English first period. Anyone else?" I ask as I grab my books and shut my locker.

"I do!" Scarlett says as she too closes her locker.

"We have chemistry." Ella and Angie say in unison.

"I guess we'll catch up with you guys later."

Me and Scarlett head towards English. We watch all the freshman nervously walk to their classes or struggle to open their lockers. "We're we ever that small?" Scarlett asked.

"No, I don't think so." I say as we laugh and enter English.

We take a seat next to each other but we couldn't talk for long. The teacher quickly walks in and stares at the class. "Okay, welcome." He says as he pulled a clipboard off his desk. "I'm Mr. Lee. I can tell we have a bright class, so let's make this a good year!" Mr. Lee motion for everybody to stand up. "Let's start off with assigned seats." He says as he adjusted his round glasses and looks at the clipboard.

A couple of kids gronned, nobody likes assign seats. "Yes, yes, I know at you at all rather sit by your friends and fool around instead of paying attention." He said sharply.

He went to the first desk and called a last name. "Baker" then he continues down the row of desks calling out names. "Roberts, King, Davis, Reed, and Hallie."

Then he walks back up to the front and starts on a new row.

My heart pounds as he called Scarlett. "Mills" he said as Scarlett goes and sits down.

I hope he calls me next but he goes on calling other last names. I start to zone out a little bit but he grabs my attention when he calls mine. "Jameson" he said and then continued on with names.

I slid down in a desk that was in the middle of the row all the way of the left side.

I didn't even realize that Ava Pattern was in my class until I looked behind me and there she was.

I rolled my eyes and turn back around knowing that Ava was just going to talk the whole entire year.

It's not like I have any beef with Ava, but she's such a bitch. She acts all nice at first but she's a snake that will turn on you faster than you could blink.

She reached over across the aisle where Sophia West was sitting. She whispered something in Sophia's ear and then Sofia giggled and looks at me.

Honestly I couldn't give a shit about Ava or Sophia. They could think what they wanted about me. They are annoying little brats who thought the world revolved around them.

Though as much as I despised them I have to admit, they are pretty. Ava has dark rich hair and really pretty hazel eyes, not to mention her slim figure. Though it can't even compare to Sofia's body. She was probably the smallest girl in our grade.

Sofia pulled back her strawberry blonde hair showing her new earrings that her rich daddy bought her.

She was just about to brag about everything else she got this summer but she was luckily cut off by Mr. Lee who started talking about what the year holds for us.

After a absolute boring first half of the day I was so relieved when it was time for lunch.

I sit down at my usual table soon to be greeted by Angie, Scarlet, and Ella.

They all give me this smile and I know they are up to something. "You need money?" I ask as they look at each other and laugh.

"No silly!" Ella says with a giggle. "There is the senior party tonight, and sense we are finally senior, we were thinking..."

I rolled my eyes and cut her off. "No. No. Absolutely not." I say as I take a bite of my sandwich.

Ella and Scarlett let out slight groans. But Angie wasn't giving up that easily. "Oh come on, I know you don't like parties but-"

"No, I don't like parties, I despise them." I said as I cut her off again. "You guys can go, really have a good time."

"Okay!" Scarlett says looking more perky.

Angie elbows her in her side and gives her a look of disapproval. "Are you sure?" Angie says trying to look sympathetic, but really hoping I say it's okay.

"Yes, I'm very sure." I say taking another bite if my sandwich.

The girls smile and start talking about what they are going to wear tonight. Don't get me wrong, I love hanging out with my friends. But a party just isn't really me.

Parties are loud and have was too many people. Not to mention the drugs and beer. Why would I volunteering put my self through that when I could stay home and read?

Back home, I sat at my desk and did the small amount of homework that I was given on the first day of school. I tried to concentrate and get my homework done, but it was hard considering I can hear the familiar wines of my twin brother coming from downstairs. Eventually I can't take it any longer and I go down to the kitchen to see what all his fuss is about.

"Oh come on mom, it's the first senior party. Everyone is going to be there!" He whined. I could have guessed that his tantrum would be about that dumb party.

"It's a school night." My mother told his as she cooked dinner.

"So? It's not like I have a bedtime." Logan crossed his arms and leaned against the kitchen wall.

"You can't possibly tell me that there won't be any drinking or drugs, can you?" My mother raised an eyebrow.

"Well, no, but I won't do anything!" Logan pouted. "I promise."

"Logan, we both know that's not a promise you will keep." My mother is very headstrong, once she gets a answer in her head, there's no changing it.

Logan rolled his eyes, catching a glimpse of me. "River! Tell her she's being ridiculous."

"Sorry Log, I agree with mom."

His jaw dropped as his eyes are wide. "Your kidding me! Don't you want to go too?" He asked as he swung his hands through the air.

"Not really." I shook my head. "I don't like parties."

My mother smiled as she took the chicken out if the oven. "Logan, why can't you be more like your sister?" She asked, shaking her head.

Bad move mother, you never compare you twins to each other. "Well sorry I can't be perfect like River." He mumbled. "This is ridiculous, everyone is going to be there. Well everyone except for me and my perfect sister." He rolled his eyes and stormed upstairs. Sometimes I can't even fathom how much of a brat my brother could be.

I mean sometimes I just don't know what's wrong with that boy.

That night Logan pouted all night and locked himself in his room. Around 12:00 I  was laying on my bed watching a movie on my phone when it died. I left my charger in Logan's room so I went over to it and knocked on the door. “Logan? Logan I know your throwing a temper tantrum but I need my phone charger.” I kept banging on the door and he refused to open it, and it was locked so it's not like I could open it myself. “Logan!”

After a minute of pounding I went into my room and got a screwdriver. I walked over to Logan's room and picked the lock. In case you we're wondering, yes I have bobby pins, and no they don't actually work. Not on the locks in my house at least. Though jamming a tiny screwdriver in the door never let me down.

I opened Lagan’s door but to my surprise, no one was there. I went over to his open window and saw a footprint on the window seal. “You fucking idiot.” I mumble. I knew exactly where he went, and there was no way I was letting my brother get into some serious trouble. I know what kinda things happen at those parties. He could very easily end up in jail, or worse. I had to protect my brother, he's my best friend after all. I don't know what I would do without him. At this time at night my parents were already in their room either sleeping or getting ready for bed. I took my convertible and drove down to the downtown graveyard where the party was being held.

 What could possibly go wrong?...
