I wake wrapped in Cody's arms. He pulls me closer to him. "Don't leave."

I turn in his arms and kiss his nose. "I need to find out how Dick is."

Cody opens his eyes. "Can I come with you? I want to see the guy that protected my girl."

I nod. "Okay, you have call your Mum and see if she can pick Kendal up from school."

Cody sits up and he sits above me. "What did you tell my Mum?"

I smile. "I told her everything. Did you know she never approved of Margot?"

He shakes his head. "No, I supposed that's why my brother went after Margot. He annoyed Mum further by getting her pregnant and marrying her. My brother would probably still be alive if he never met her."

"What happened to your brother?"

Cody stiffens. "He Over Dosed on a mix of drugs. The Doctors found water in his lungs. The doctors told us it was an accidental drowning."

"I'm sorry."

"I want to hear something truthful about you."

I sigh. "My father runs a company that my fourth Great Grandfather started up from the ground. I will be the first female to run the company."

Cody leans over me and opens the draw. He pulls out a condom and rolls it on. He moves his fingers to my entrance and he slips it into my fold. Cody kisses me and I grind against his fingers.

I moan. "Cody."

He smiles.

He pulls his fingers out of and and he thrusts into me. He moves us and I'm on top of him. He grabs my hips and I ride him. I lean towards him and he takes a nipple into his mouth and starts sucking.

Pleasure courses through my body and I bounce on him. I can feel my orgasm. "Cody." I moan.

He moves to the second nipple and takes it into his mouth.

I pull his hair.

He looks into my eyes and we come together. He lifts me off him and lie next to him for a couple of minutes. Cody pulls me out of the bed and we climb into the shower.

Cody takes the loafer and lathers it with soap. He washes my body and I do the same for him. We step out of the shower and I walk into the room and pull out a pair of jeans and a t-shirt from my handbag.

I don't remember packing those.

Cody takes my hand and we leave the house.

Dick

I hear a beep... beep... beep... coming from beside my head. I open my eyes and see a tube in my mouth. There's a tube in my mouth and I start choking.

I make a strangled noise and a girl with brown hair lifts her head from the bed. "Dick," she yells.

She presses the button for the nurse.

A nurse runs into the room and she takes the tube out of my mouth.

The doctor walks into the room and tells me everything they had to do during surgery.

Where's Ashton?

The doctor gives me a glass of water and I take small amounts of it.

I touch Sandra's arm. "Where's Ashton?"

She shrugs. "I don't know. She left after midnight and I have t seen or heard from her since. Did the police get Xavier?"

Sandra nods. "He's in jail. Ashton spent time at the Police Station after she shot her brother."

"Is she in trouble?"

"I don't know she didn't talk about it. She was worried about you."

I smile. "Of course she'd be worried about me. Ashton's thought of me as a Big Brother since we were kids. Our parents are Best Friends."

"She's lucky to have someone like you look over her while growing up."

"I was the lucky one. She knows how to make me laugh."

A knock at my door pulls my attention away from Sandra. I look at the door and Ashton is standing there with Cody.

"Dicky," she runs over to my bed and sits on it next to me. Ashton starts crying.

I wrap my arms around her. "Shh, I'm okay,"

"I... I... I thought you were dead."

I kiss her cheek. "No, I'm still here. I can't leave my annoying best friend to fend for herself."

She wipes away her tears. "Do you know why he did it?"

I sigh. "It has something to do with your father. You should ask him."

I shake my head. "I can't. You know who I want answers from?"

"Xavier?"

I nod. "I want to know why he did this to us. I want to look in his eyes and tell him I hate him and that I forgive him for this."

"How can you forgive him?"

She sighs. "If I say I forgive you it will take away all the bad stuff I feel towards my brother. I don't want to carry around hate towards my brother. I want to feel free."

"I understand where your coming from. I can't personally say 'I forgive' someone when I don't. Xavier deserves my hate and I'll never see him if I did I would t be able to control what I do to him. If you meet with him be careful, Ash."

She wraps her arms around me. "I'll always be careful when it comes to my half brother."

I kiss the top of head. "What going on with Cody and you?"

I take a sip of water.

"He's my boyfriend. I had sex with him last night."

I spit the water all over the bed.

Ashton laughs. "I didn't know you were drinking water."

I am coughing from the some water that went down the wrong hole.

She whispers. "I didn't want to leave last night."

Ashton lies next to me and closes her eyes.

Cody and Sandra are standing by the door.

Sandra looks at me. "I'm going to get something to eat." She walks out the door leaving Cody and I.

Cody moves over to the chair next to my bed. He looks at Ashton and brushes some hair out of her face. "Thank you for protecting her last night?"

I shake my head. "I was too late in warning her about Xavier last night. I didn't expect her half brother to be at the house when I went inside with her."
