Author's notes: The song of the day, today is Houston by Dean Martin, this song is depressing yet I find myself always happy singing it, probably because in the second half Dean starts singing about a girl who he seems to be in love with, who helps him by sheltering him from the elements.                A Few Minutes Later
"Rose is dead." Diamond said to himself trying to comprehend how the women he was looking for was deceased, his friend, Steven tried talking to Diamond, but he was unsuccessful after telling him of his mother's death, after that Diamond just clammed up, he just stared into the distance deep in thought, till his attention was brought back to the gems as they stirred awake, Amethyst was the first to wake, her eyes locked with Diamond's, causing her to jump up in surprise, in turn accidentally hitting Garnet in the stomach noticing this Amethyst quickly apologized "Uh..." Garnet groaned grabbing her head groaning as it throbbed painfully with one last groan she took in her environment, Amethyst meanwhile clung to her arm, visibly shaking "What's wrong, Amethyst?" Garnet asked drowsily, eyes half lidded hidden behind her shades, Amethyst didn't speak, she just pointed in the direction of Diamond, Garnet's reaction was a weird one to say the least, she didn't jump like Amethyst, nor did her expression change, but she appeared to shiver with great intensity "Why are you here?! Garnet's normal voice was replaced by voice of a rough young kid "I want to tell you, but I'm not fond of repeating myself." Diamond said pointing to a sleeping Pearl, at this that kid groaned in annoyance bending over and shaking, but to no avail at this the kid bent over, and yelled into Pearl's ear "Wake up!" "Ah!" Pearl yelled jumping up falling behind the couch in the progress.
