The song of day today is "And the beat goes on" by The Whispers once more this is a song that played in GTA: Vice City, I know I haven't been giving the best reviews of some of these songs, but a lot of them truly hold their own through funk alone.

"Leave!" the child demanded flatly anger evident in her voice, Rose felt her heart skip a beat as sorrow compounded in her chest taking her voice from her as tears threatened to fall from her eyes which were hidden behind her large pink locks "Leave! I won't tell you again!" the child yelled approaching Rose with a clenched fist "Please...let me see her." Rose asked voice cracking "You want to see her...this is what your army did to her!" the child yelled as loud as she could, Rose broke down tears streamed down her face as she collapsed to the ground in front of this child, tears falling from her face to the cold hard ground.

Ruby's POV

Ruby didn't know what to say or what to do as she stared at the crying soldier, all previous anger left her as she stared at the gem who only minutes ago attempted to cut her in two, she couldn't stand it anymore all the sorrow, all the sadness it had to stop, Ruby put her arm under Rose and attempted to raise her back to her feet, failing when she remembered just how short she was.

Rose's POV

Rose's still crying eyes were brought to the child as she attempted to lift her back to her feet, when she failed the child's arms wrapped themselves around Rose in a attempt to calm the crying gem, Rose's eyes went wide at the action tears still stained her face as she looked down at the child "Please...stop crying." she heard the child say, her once rough voice went calm and loving like a parent is to a scared child "I'm sorry!" Rose screamed feeling worse for attacking this child, tears fell once more and the child in the same soothing voice repeated her previous words "Please....stop crying." over and over till Rose finally calmed down as Rose cried she cried she caught a smile gracing the injured gem's face out of the corner of her eye.
