Small scenes I have planned out for my upcoming Coliel AU :)

1: 3rd Person POV

"Hey," The bed creaked as Koko perched on the mattress. Lloyd ignored her, flopping back onto his pillow and resuming his texting. The woman gingerly reached out, stroking his hair, "I know. I didn't want this either," she murmured, "but it's final. You'll see him soon..." Her voice trailed off as if she too seemed unsure of herself.

Her marriage with Garmadon had fallen through, and he'd packed his bags and took off, seemingly with no intention of returning.

"Um...will you be coming down for dinner tonight?"

More silence. Lloyd blew a lock of blonde hair away from his face as his fingers hurriedly tapped the brightly lit screen.

"There's leftovers in the fridge."

Nothing. Not even a nod or grunt of approval. Just cold silence. Koko wasn't a fool, however. She could see through the whole "moody teen," facade. She knew how he was feeling. Lloyd was a closed-off person, constantly wearing a fake mask all day to hide the pain he was truly feeling.

Just like his father.

She leaned over, pressing a kiss on her son's temple, "I love you, son. So much."

No acknowledgement. Nothing. Koko bit her lip as she stood up, taking one last glance around the room before leaving, shutting the door behind her.

Gently lowering the phone, Lloyd let the tears fall. His body shook as he clamped a hand over his mouth to muffle his sobs, eyes squeezing shut.

It was him. It was all him.

His whole family was falling apart and it was all his fault.

2: 3rd Person POV

Steam clouded up the entire bathroom as Lloyd inhaled and exhaled shakily, running a hand through his drenched locks. The hot water rained down on his skin and he hissed as it reached the thin lines cut into his flesh.

The thin lines he cut with his razor blade.

Stress relief came in many forms. Sex, the comfort of friends, forgetting, alcohol, drugs, denial...the list goes on.

Cutting was Lloyd's escape.

But it was getting harder and harder to hide. Now with Nya growing more suspicious, and Ray and Maya coming around more often to help Koko out with the post-divorce, Lloyd was finding himself having to sneak around his own home, razor tucked neatly in the hem of his jeans.

3: Seliel's POV

"Looking for this?" I turn to see Cole's happy grin as he hands me a hardback book, with fraying corners. A smile stretches across my face, "Yeah. How did you-"

"I was returning it when I heard you asking about it. So I grabbed it and voila!" I giggle, cupping his chin and pulling him down to capture his lips against mine, "Thank you."

"Anytime, Cupcake." He playfully pokes my nose and we walk around the library in silence, and Cole starts talking, "So I've been thinking...I wanna take you out. On a proper date. I could pick you up and we could drive around the city, grab some food, admire the view...just something cheesy and romantic, like in those films you obsess over."

"What if someone sees us? Vania?"

"She won't find out," Cole reassures me quickly. "Plus, it's not like she and I are even a thing. She hasn't asked me out and I don't have any intentions of asking her out either."

"Always gotta use a loophole, huh?"

He winked and shot me with finger guns, "You know it."

This is all I have so far. Lemme know whatcha think!
