SUMMARY: Based off a TikTok I saw from a snippet of what I'm guessing is from a Korean show. For the sake of this, Nya is gonna be like, 14, and everyone else is gonna be 15-16-17-ish. Oh, and Lloyd's a kid for this. ENJOY!

Dinner came around as everyone seated themselves at the round table. Nya bit her lip excitedly; she couldn't wait to spill the news to her brothers!

As everyone tucked into kimchi, sushi and noodles, the girl cleared her throat, before standing up, "Everyone, I have an announcement!"

All eyes were on the samurai as her eyes shone with amusement, "I, Nya Smith, have started my first period!"

Her eyes searched the ninja's faces, looking to get a reaction, but all of them were stunned into silence.

Lloyd awkwardly raised his hand, "Uh...what's a period?"

He still hadn't gotten the talk; the ninja kept putting it off until later, much to Wu's annoyance.

Cole had dropped his chopsticks, and Jay's eyebrows were furrowed, noodle hanging from his mouth, chopsticks middair. Kai was about to take a sip from his juice when he too, stared at his sister.

The others knew they had a female on board. They knew that they'd have to deal with this sort of stuff. They just didn't know when. And they certainly didn't expect it to happen now, of all times.

Zane gifted her with a friendly smile, "Congratulations, Nya. This is a very big time in a girl's life; the transition to womanhood."

Shortly after, everyone followed with awkward words of congratulations. Lloyd's arm was still raised.

"What's a period?"

Zane was about to open his mouth to explain, until Kai jumped in with a very loud nervous laugh, "Wow! Um...this food is amazing, don't you think? Boy, I sure am hungry!" He tucked in immediately, as did everyone else. Lloyd shrugged, "I'll just look it up later."

Feeling satisfied, Nya sat back down. She was pretty proud of herself, and was very happy to finally experience it.

She'd come to regret that within a few days.
