"I'm not going to sit in that pinky little crap," Ted pointed out to my beloved car. I was fuming and furious because he had no right to critise my car. It was pink in colour, a little small and compact, second-hand but still it ran like a Ferrari.

"Just get in without whining like a little kid. I don't want us to get caught by Poppy," I hissed and shoved him towards the car. It was difficult to do so but then he himself quitely walked in the car.

"I don't feel like a man," He mumbled and sat beside me. He took his faded yellow coloured old backpack and dug his hands deep into it. I rolled my eyes and placed my hands on the steering wheel.

"I wanted to ask you something, provided, if you'll answer it properly," I said as I drove. His face was buried in his backpack and he peeked from it. He raised his eyebrow and I asked,"What's the actual deal with the closet, huh? Grandma mentioned something like there was a 'match'?"

"Not a big deal," He murmered and finally retrieved a pendrive from his backpack. He connected it to the music system of the car and was busy switching on and off the various buttons. I frowned at him.

"Why are you trying to ignore this topic? I reckon you know something about this since Grandma's tone hinted seriousness. You are close to your grandma and I'm sure, you know about this 'match' thing. She must have - "

"Are you that clueless or you're pretending to be that," He interjected and my eyebrows knotted in confusion and annoyance.

"Pretending to be what?" I snapped at him. He shrugged simply.

"Oblivious," He said and hit the play button of some song. Suddenly, a high pitched voice singing soul songs started blaring from the speakers. I shut my ears while at the same time managed to focus on the road. I shouted over the song, "Switch it off, quick!"

He too fumbled with the buttons in a hurry and finally the volume decreased. I sighed and his shoulders too sagged in relief. He smiled sheepishly which was strange and new to his features yet adorable. "I think I accidentally carried grandma's pendrive."

"Oh," I said and slightly nodded. He kept the pendrive away and I switched on the radio. I kept it in the lowest volume possible just to keep Ted entertained and somehow complete our earlier conversation.

"So...."

"So?" He asked and I mentally face palmed. It was so difficult to even talk to him conveniently. I did not often converse with boys specifically since I always roamed with girls. I was brought up in a quite conservative environment. I didn't even know the skills to talk to a boy. But what skills were necessary? After all, they were humans too or at least that was what I thought.

"Let's get this straight and I want you to answer it. I'm really curious to know about this closet. So, tell me what grandma meant by what she said," I pleaded with bright, gleaming eyes. He hesitated and took a deep breath.

"Do you believe in the romance shit where the hero and the heroine's fate always lead them to be together? No matter if a hurricane hits the city or the entire world is swallowed by a yawning hippo, they were meant to be together," He said and I blinked at him in disbelief.

"Who believes in that kind of shit nowadays?" I asked and his shrugged.

"Do you believe?" He asked and I snorted. He gazed at me for a while. He cocked his head as if studying my expressions carefully. Finally, I shook my head in denial.

"Well, now you should believe."
