"Holy shit! OH MY GOD! IT'S THE NORTHERN LIGHTS!" I cried in awe and wonder as I stuck my head out of the van window to admire the beauty above.

It was more beautiful than rainbows or twinkling stars. My eyes shone as I felt Ted wrap his arms around my waist. He tried to pull me in and calm me down, but I couldn't. I was in a state where I couldn't calmly sit down. I was hyperventilating. I was thrilled and excited. I just wanted to jump out of the van and see the northern lights more clearly since the tall trees were blocking the view.

We were far away from the city and nearby the woods. It was where our camp was set. We traveled through Joe's van.

"Abby baby sit down, you might attract the polar bears," Bobby joked. Ted laughed loudly because of what happened earlier about my misconception about polar bears and Norway. I glared at Ted and eventually sat down.

"Bobby, I can't believe that I'm witnessing the northern lights! Pinch me so I should know that I'm not dreaming," I said, clasping my hands together.

"Pinch you where?"

"Shut up, Bobby. No time to talk dirty. Just pinch me or kick me or - "

"I'll better kiss you - "

"Guys, we have arrived," Ted cut off Bobby.

I frowned and Bobby smirked. Ted pulled me out. I ran excitedly towards the open space as Ted struggled to keep me calm.

"Oh, Ted. This is so beautiful," I muttered and looked above. My eyes were filled with tears of joy. The northern lights was so beautiful, the green light blending with the dark sky.

Ted's friends smiled at me and they looked happy to witness my happiness. Ross and Rachael clicked several pictures and I insisted Ted to click pictures too.

"I promise that nobody will know that I was in Norway. I wouldn't post it on facebook or instagram or anywhere. I'll treasure it," I promised earnestly and Ted agreed.

Ted clicked pictures and didn't seem happy when Bobby joined me in most of the pictures. I adored Bobby, he was such a happy soul.

"Guys, we'll meet exactly after an hour at this place. Till then, ta - ta," Ross said and Rachael held his arm. They both walked ahead, hand in hand as I admired their love.

"Joe, Nick, where are you guys going?" Ted asked and they said that they would stay back and prepare the ingredients and materials for dinner. Ted said that they had seen the northern lights numerous times and it wasn't something new for them.

"We'll go then," Ted said to me. I nodded.

"I'll come along too," Bobby said cheerfully and Ted glowered.

"You needn't accompany us - "

"No, let him. I don't mind," I cut off Ted and Bobby's face lightened up. I smiled and suddenly his attention darted towards Ted.

"Ah, no. I can't come because... I want to boast about marshmallows? I mean, I want to roast them," Bobby said quickly and my eyebrows knotted in confusion.

"Okay, only if you don't want to, then let's go Ted," I said and Ted sighed.

***

The picture and video of the northern lights is attached in the media. It's beyond beautiful.

One of my winter goals is to witness this. What are your goals?
