• (Lucy's POV) •

"The dinner is still cooking, so please take a seat in the living room." My mother said. "Lucy, you are dismissed, along with your friends."

I walked into the other living room on the other side of the house, Sting and Natsu following behind me. God this was awkward. I sat on the sofa and the two boys sat either side of me. Growls escaped the mouths of both boys, who were staring daggers at each other.

"C'mon guys, let's just be nice for once." I pleaded.
"Prissy Brat."
"Dragon Scum."
"Spoilt shit."
"Ash brain."

"GUYS!" I yelled. They both turned to look at me. "Stop it."
"Tch, whatever." Natsu huffed.
"Pftt, fine." Sting replied.

Honestly, they were like babies.

"Please excuse me, I need to go the the bathroom." I lied, swiftly walking towards the door.
"Hey Luce," Sting said, mimicking Natsu. "Quit the formalities, we're all friends, right?" I saw Natsu tighten his fist in anger; he was two years older than me and Sting, and an awful lot scarier too.
"Right, I'll be back in a minute." I said, leaving.

I took out my small handbag and touched up my makeup in the mirror. Anything to keep me away from them. When I had nothing else to do, I walked out the door, only to find myself pinned against the wall.
"Sting?" I asked.
"Natsu left for a moment and I got bored." Sting said, smirking.

He kissed my lips softly, gently holding my head in his hands. Sting was the opposite of Natsu, who was very rough and sexual. At first I didn't know what to do, but I soon melted into the kiss, returning the relaxing feeling. He didn't feel my body or bite me, lick my lip or nibble my neck, and his kiss was filled with love, rather than lust. I felt bad, but I knew this was how a first kiss should of been.

Quite the opposite of my first.

Suddenly, I heard the sound of glass shattering on the marble floor. I opened my eye, peeping over at where the noise came from.

And standing in the door was Natsu himself.

His fists clenched, coated in burning flames.

His eyes a deep red, glaring at Sting.

That was one of the effects of Dragon Mating Season, right? Oh fuck...

"What's the matter Lucy?" Sting asked. I pointed over at Natsu, and Sting swiftly spun round to see the red flame ball charging at him.

All I saw was white.
