Heavy wind rushed as if nature had been growling in anger and the environment calling war on whoever dated to defy the Salamanders. The civilians of Dragon Landing cowered back to their dens as they knew the wrath of the Salamanders. The old tales of them weren't all just a talk when it came to their pride and that dark guild had angered them when they took their Young Prince.

The whole dragon castle was in turmoil as the dragon soldiers donned their armor and took their weapons, their faces screamed of rage and fury and there was no place for any other emotions as they formed in lines. The whole vicinity of the castle was crowded with 2000 men and the ground shook as they started to march and went to the castle ground as they waited for a single order of their crown Prince. They all were going to Foyed to save their Prince.

Prince Billard had donned himself in his golden armours as he came out of his chamber. Golden eyes glinted in glory and wrath and each step demanded authority as he reached his soldiers.

He moved his eyes on his men, taking one last glance before their departure with him. Master Valentine and the defense minister, Houjou Sarodo came beside him hurriedly as they had prepared themselves as well.

"Your Highness..." Master Valentine said, gaining Prince Billard's attention.

"Yes, Master Valentine?" Billard asked with a cold voice which said he was on edge.

"Can I have a moment with you?" Master Valentine asked with a short letter in his hand and Billard noticed it. It must be from one of his goons. Maybe from the men who he had been sent on scouting.

"What is it?" He asked and hoped it was not bad news he had been worrying about since his brother got captured.

"I had sent my birds to look into this dark guild's background." Master Valentine gave him the letter and said, "They are called Dark Fairies and they work with illegal trading. Tradings such as selling rare or unique wizards at a high price. They have buyers all over wizard land and all of them bid on unique wizards even before they catch those unique wizards. They even have their marks on trading antique magics or runes, even ancient forbidden spells and..." Master Valentine's face looked grim as Billard's worried gaze fell on the paper, "some information came from them as deadly as we can think."

Billard didn't avert his eyes from that paper as he asked, "What is that information?"

"Recently they have been working on a forbidden magic ritual called transaul incantation. It is to transfer one's magic to someone else."

"I see." Billard nodded as the paper revealed a list of names of unique wizards in the whole wizard nation and Seraphina Flameheart's name was on the top with a bounty of 1 million gold.

Billard looked at Master Valentine with a grim face as he had no words to say. He was speechless and he felt the tension rising in him.

Master Valentine said, "I asked a trusted man to look into the black market especially for those unique wizards who had high bidding on themselves and this came out."

"So, they were only here for Seraphina, not Demian..."

Master Valentine nodded and added, "They came that day to capture Seraphina not Demian. As Seraphina was in the dungeon with heavy guards, they took the Young Prince instead."

"So, that is why they left that note and said to hand over Seraphina. Seraphina is worth 1 million gold in their black market?"

"Yes. It seems they take notes on their unique wizards and I heard, Seraphina was only 100000 gold but recently her bid went upto 1 million."

"They desire her powers..." Billard mumbled.

Master Valentine nodded.

The situation took a different turn as Billard was leading the war with the guild for Demian but it came out, it was for Seraphina. But he knew, no matter what, Demian would not allow anyone to take Seraphina away. On other hand, she was already married to the Salamanders. So, in a way, it was already calling a war against a Salamander. Because Seraphina was now a part of his family. And harming his family means war.

"I should have looked into it before sending her. What will I answer to Demian?" Billard said with a defeated face but Master Valentine assured him, "Well, we still don't know for sure if sending Seraphina was a good move or not."

Billard raised a brow, "Why?"

"You don't know when a dragon goes on rampant."

"What do you mean?" Billard asked as Master Valentine coughed, "I think our Young Prince got captured for another reason although I am not sure."

"What reason?"

"I heard from the same man that there was only one buyer who bid on her 1 million gold and the rest didn't even try to bid because it was too much." Master Valentine informed.

"Who is it?"

Master Valentine took out another paper and there was a list of buyers and their information but only one had no information yet the name had one hell of a bidding. It was only on Seraphina and the name was 'Demian von Sanatos'.

There was a moment of silence as Prince Billard blinked his eyes to see the name more clearly. "Is-is that Demian? Our Demian?"

He asked in disbelief. He turned the paper upside-down and rolled and saw again hoping to appear a different name but it was still the same name 'Demian von Sanatos'.

Master Valentine grinned and said, "Yes."

"He didn't add his surname..." Prince Billard said a bit offended as Valentine gave him a look.

"Because adding his family name will not be wise. They will know that he is from Dragon Land. But that is not the point, Your Highness..." Valentine pressed on the last two words.

"But then why did the dark guild capture their own buyer when they would have gained more profit from him?" Billard asked.

"Err... I think they must have come to know that they were being scammed by our Prince?" Master Valentine said with confusion as he shrugged.

Billard placed his hand on his forehead and tapped on it in frustration. He couldn't believe his own eyes that his brother was scamming people. Well, it was scamming the bad people but a scamming is a scamming. Sort of. "I failed to raise him."

"Err... So, what will we do about the war?" Master Valentine asked.

Billard looked at his men who waited for his orders and said, "Let the war begin."

Billard tore the paper and said to the old advisor, "Not a word shall come out of it."

Master Valentine smirked as if he found his old glory and kneeled, "As your wish, Your Highness."

Zekalis and his companions came closer slowly as Demian said, "You can't win, Seraphina, you need to run."

"I won't go without you."

"Well, you can try but you can't run." Deniz said as small lightning appeared on his hands and the other two members prepared their swords too.

Seraphina needed something to guard Demian otherwise their attacks would hit him when she would try to evade them. But with Demian laying on the ground behind her, she couldn't evade. She took a long breath and prepared herself.

Deniz spread out his hands a lightning bolt came out and while protecting Demian, Seraphina hit it with her sword. She hoped to get electrified but the swords absorbed it all and the red stone glowed. All of the enemies were stunned as well as Seraphina but then she recalled it was a fire stone on the sword that the dwarfs made for her.

But fire stones never absorbed other powers beside fire then why did it-

She looked at the stone more carefully and saw the stone had two more stones in it, one was a yellow stone and the other one was green. The yellowstone was the one which was glowing. Damn the dwarfs! They were excellent crafty people!

Seraphina couldn't contain her happiness as now she didn't need to shield herself anymore. She smirked at the stunned enemies as she launched at them. Uraha swiped his scythe and tried to cut her but she back stepped and evaded it while swinging her sword toward him. The moment the sword met with his scythe, he got electrified instead as his hair stood straight and with a growl, he fell on the ground. Smokes appeared from his hair and Seraphina looked at Deniz with a devilish grin.

Deniz got irked as he took out his small daggers, "Don't underestimate me. Even if I can't use my powers on you, I can still use my weapons."

"Bring it on!" Seraphina said as adrenaline rushed through her veins and she got her lost confidence back. But the other man came with his spear and launched at her. His movements were fast and it was hard to defend them as she was forced to back.

But as soon as he stopped his spear attacks, thorns of all different sizes came out of his body and went flying toward her. With swings of her sword, she managed to cut them off but one or two of them cut her arms and legs. Blood came out of her wounds but she stood strong, still shielding Demian.

"Horkof, you know that we need her to be in excellent condition. Don't overdo it," Zekalis said and Horkof smiled.

"Don't worry, boss. Even if she got hurt, she won't die. I am not even using my poisonous thrones yet." He said.

Seraphina was cautious of him but she looked back to see if Demian got hurt, but he wasn't. She smiled to herself that she had protected him but he wasn't moving at all. His eyes had become blurry as if the brightness of it was all gone and Seraphina's heart thundered against her chest.

"Demian!" She called out but Deniz came immediately and was about to stab her with his dagger but Seraphina stopped it with her sword and pushed him as he stepped back but whirled around and the other dagger was about to pierce her when she stopped it with her bare hands.

The dagger pierced through her palm and blood oozed out of it and Deniz smiled evilly but it was short lived because he could not yanked it out of her hand as she held it tightly with her left hand and this time, Seraphina smirked. Before Deniz could leave behind his dagger, Seraphina pierced him through with her sword and the man fell on the ground.
