"Daniel!" Caasi cheered, running to her brother. "Ayla's the princess?"

Daniel looked up from the hole in the fence he had been fixing. Caasi loomed over him, wearing a muddy yellow dress. He remembered how it was always her favorite. Her flaxen blonde hair blew around in the light breeze, and Daniel got hit with a feeling of nostalgia. He was so happy to be back home.

"Yep." He said, "It was a bit of a shock at first."

A wide smile formed on Caasi's lips. "I healed a princess!" She yelped, then paused. "We're going to her coordination, right?"

Daniel looked down at the invitation, but negelcte to see his name. He let out an audible "oh."

Caasi tilted her head in confusion.

"I... wasn't invited." He said, feeling a bit hurt. Did he do something to anger Ayla? Were they not friends anymore? He was planning on staying in touch, but maybe she just wanted to get rid of him the whole time...

Caasi was too dumbfounded to speak. "But you guys are best friends! Right?"

I guess not... "Don't worry about it." Daniel said, "I have a lot of repairs to do, anyways. You can go alone."

"But I've never been to the kingdom alone." Caasi protested, "You should come!"

"I won't be going, Caasi." Daniel said, "Bring your friends with you. Aideera, she's been to the Kingdom right?"

"Well... Yeah." Caasi said, "But I don't know if she was invited."

"Then you'd better ask." Daniel said, sending his sister a playful smile.

Caasi looked at Daniel for a moment, and realizing he wouldn't change his mind, she walked away.

Daniel let out a sigh. Once again, he would be seperated from his sister.
