Gajeel was tasked with getting the lightnig and fire dragon slayers up.

Gajeel was expecting a half destroyed  room and Natsu on a fried couch  while Laxus slept on the bed but that's  not what he saw.

the room was perfectly intact unharmed by fairy tail (for once) while the pink haired boy was snuggled  into Laxus.

Gajeel snapped  a picture as quietly as he could before going  out and closing  the door to only rap his knuckles on the door  to wake them  up.

"HEY LOVE BIRDS, YOU UP?" Gajeel yelled

Natsu yelled back "WE'RE NOT LOVE BIRDS! YOU WANT TO FIGHT METAL  HEAD?"

"Natsu, save it for the games." Laxus yawned before pulling  natsu back in.

Natsu closed the door in Gajeel's face.

"I think we should  get dressed." Natsu blushed and stuttered as Laxus pinned  him to a wall.

"Your a good cuddler." Laxus  commented  smirking.

Natsu muttered fuck it before  connecting thier lips.

Laxus  was caught off guard but kissed back.

Gajeel was recording them having a make out session with a bloody  nose from the shadows. Then he stepped one inch too close.

the two abruptly stopped and marched over to  where  Gajeel was.
"sniff sniff I smell metal." Natsu grabbed Gajeel.

Laxus punched him in the nose "one word and your dead."

"oh my god they were roommates." Gajeel took the risk.

"GUYS? WE HAVE TO LEAVE SOON!" Wendy called from outside.

"give us five minutes." they pushed Gajeel out while the other two got changed sneaking glances at eachother.

They came out dressed and ready and thier hair slightly more ruffled than when Gajeel left.

*time skip at the dragon games the night before*

Natsu had no idea that it was being held in Ember city, home of the fire Dragons and Natsu.

Natsu had recived a note from igneel to meet him in Natsu's old room.

Natsu finally arrived there.  "Dad!"

Igneel smiled at him as Natsu  hugged his neck.

"Glad to see you my boy! and you still have the scarf! how wonderful. So.."

"Yep! I sure do! I can't wait to show you how much ive improved!" Natsu let go of Igneels neck.

"We will see Tommarow. Now have you found your mate yet?"

Natsu blushed "uhhh, no actually."

Igneel  knew he smelled something about that  Lightning boy. "I think that you have someone in mind."

"Yeah, I do. We haven't exactly sorted it out yet."

"Its the Lightning boy, correct?"

Natsu groaned "I forgot your nose smells all and your eyes see all."

Igneel chuckled. "As far as my senses can go. "

Igneel asked Natsu some more questions before natsu went to sleep.

You see, the Dragon slayers patrons or parents are housing them.
so Igneel, Metellicana, Grandeena, and Laxus' patron Fravei were hosting them.
other dragon slayers were here too and stayed with thier respective dragons.
