Pete's POV

I was in the same van as Andy, Kyla, Elrik, Rae, Gerard, and an unconscious Stella and Ersor, who was being held by Rae, trying to understand how we had got caught. We all covered our tracks, unless that hunter had his tracker on. I sighed, glancing down at Stella, who the hunters just tossed in the back like they did Patrick in the other van. The only reason that they sedated her was because she wanted to be with Patrick, but the assholes weren't having it.

I looked at the others, seeing Andy keeping Kyla close to him, glaring at the front where a couple hunters were driving. I could tell that everyone was tense, namely because none of us had been caught in so long we're not so sure what will happen to us this time. Looking at Gerard, I could see he was staring at the back door, as if looking at his brother. Speaking of, I hope Brendon is keeping an eye on Patrick with his head injury. He'll more than likely have a bad headache when he wakes up.

Tyler's POV

I watched as Josh healed Patrick's head injury, as Hayley, Joe, Brendon, Mikey, and Halsey were glaring at the front where the driver was. I heard Patrick groan, and seen that he was still unconscious. Josh looked at me, moving his hand from Patrick's head carefully.

"He's healed, but he's going to be unconscious the rest of the trip most likely. Thankfully, he won't have to worry about any concussions." He said, smiling lightly.

"I'd like to know how the hell they found us." Halsey said, flashing turquoise eyes before they went to normal.

"That kid we brought in, Ethan I think, had his tracker on still. Hell, he gloated about it before Thomas and his hunters came in." Brendon said, folding his arms across his chest, leaning against the van wall.

"What happened while Stella and us were in the basement with Ethan?" Hayley asked, looking at all of us.

Elrik looked at her. "While Patrick and I were in the Kitchen with Ersor, a couple hunters came through the back screen door, so he handed her off to me, trying to get them out, but some was around the front, and snuck behind him, and knocked him out." He said, looking at Patrick.

"How come YOU didn't get knocked out?" Halsey asked, glaring.

"I was in a corner, but they noticed me when Ersor cried for him. That's when you guys were pulled into the kitchen." Elrik said, looking at her.

"So...Does that mean Thomas planned the attack and the murder of Ersor's mother?" Hayley asked, looking at us.

"Knowing Thomas he probably did." Brendon sighed.

Pete's POV

I sighed, looking around the damned van, noticing Stella had tears slowly running down her face, confusing me.

Stella's POV (A/N: This part will be confusing, because it will go from flashback to Stella and someone further into this part. The dragon above is this person's dragon form though. Flashback and Actual Dream(or Unconscious).)

I was running through brush and trees, constantly looking behind me in case the hunters were behind me, only stopping every so often to catch my breath. I whimpered quietly, realizing momma and daddy were dead, their scents drifting off as fire turned my only home to ashes and dust. Tears fell from my eyes as I thought about how I had no one to help me....

I looked around the vast white space of my subconscious it had created, making me feel even lonelier than I should feel. I sighed, sitting down, bringing my knees up to my chin as I wrapped my arms around them. I laid my chin on my knees, looking at the white space. Sitting there, I wondered how long it would take to get to Thunder-Hill Corporation so I could wake up. I frowned slightly, watching the white change to a grassy, night sky, and felt something lay beside me. I looked over, and teared up, seeing my mother, in her dragon form (A/n: Dragon above).

I hopped around momma, giggling happily. Momma chuckled watching me, as I played, biting at the air where the green, glowey bugs once were, making me pout, as I looked up at momma. "How come those green, glowing bugs always disappear, momma?" I asked, jumping up on her back, laying down.

Momma gave a chuckle, turning her head so she looked at me with a soft smile. "You remember the stories I told you about the stars?" She asked, nuzzling me lightly, as I nodded.

"Uh-huh, Grandma and Grandpa live up there!" I said happily.

Momma chuckled. "In a way, yes. Our ancestors live in the sky as stars to watch over us as we rest during the night, and hide during the day when we're awake. I want you to promise, my little Princess, that no matter what happens to momma and papa, that you will always remember to look up at the stars, and think of us when you do." Momma said gently, making me nod.

"I promise, momma, but what about Auntie Patricia and Martin?" I asked, tilting my head slightly.

"Patrick will to be a handsome young man, just as you will grow to be a beautiful young woman. You don't have to worry about him being with Auntie Patricia and your papa and I." Momma said with a chuckle, making me smile.

"Good, I don't want Martin to go yet." I said, proudly, making momma laugh.

"You are certainly like your papa." She said, nuzzling me, as I purred, nuzzling her back.

"My, I was right about you growing to be a beautiful young woman." Mother said, making me smile, as tears fell down my face.

I quickly stood, wrapping my arms around my mothers neck sobbing quietly, thinking this was a mind trick and she would disappear. However, I felt her wrap her wings around me as she laid her head on my shoulder, nuzzling my gently.

"It's alright, my Princess, I'm here." She cooed softly as I sobbed.

I leaned back, as she lifted her head back, and rubbed my eyes, clearing them of tears. "I thought I wouldn't see you again after that night." I said softly, watching my mother chuckle, shaking her head with a smile.

"I told you, Stella, I wouldn't leave you, but you stopped looking at the stars.." She said, trailing off as she looked up at the night sky towards the stars, then looked back down at me with the look she would give me, every time I stole a cookie from the cookie jar.

I looked down slightly, feeling like a hatchling again. "It hurt to look up at the stars, to try and find you and Papa, so I gave up looking, but I never stopped thinking about you both." I said softly, looking back up at her.

Mother smiled sadly. "Sometimes it will hurt, but the pain goes away over time as you look over the stars. Only then will it get better." She said lightly, making me look up at the stars again.

"You've been watching me, then?" I asked, smiling lightly, seeing mother and papa's stars. Bright blue and right beside each other, just like when they were alive.

"Of course, I've never seen my daughter so loyal to her friends the way you have. Just as well, I never would have thought you would mate with your best friend." She said, making me blush.

"I never realized he was the Patrick I knew growing up, he changed so much over the years I'd seen him..." I said, trailing off, making mother laugh.

"What did I tell you? He would grow up to be a handsome young man. Both of you gifted with royal blood, making the two of you the strongest pair of mates in centuries. Tell me, how many abilities do you two have so far?" She asked with a toothy grin.

"What do you mean?" I asked, confused. The only ability the both of us have was the faux duplicate.

Mother rose a scaled brow. "From that look, your limited...I would have thought both of your abilities would ave surfaced by now..." She said and touching her forehead to mine, making my head hurt slightly.

I pulled away, holding my head, as mother watched silently. "What was that?" I asked, groaning softly, rubbing it.

Mother smiled. "I helped in the process of making your abilities surface quicker. You'll need them in the near future." She said, standing, making me frown.

"Your leaving me?" I asked, confused.

Mother nodded. "I was given a certain amount of time with you. If I had a choice I'd stay with you the whole way, but I can't. Take care of your hatchling." She said, leaning her head down, as I wrapped my arms around her maw, hugging her, closing my eyes.

"I will...I love you, Momma." I said, feeling her fade away.

"I love you too, my Princess." She said, as her voice sounded like a whisper.

I leaned back, seeing She was gone. I sighed, sitting in the grass, looking up at the stars.
