Theo rushes down the stairs of the dark, gloomy laboratory and stops in the middle of the room.  The doctors turn to see him, hissing sounds coming from their masks.

Panting, Theo smiles deviously, "The book worked.  And now they're going to see Valack.  They're going tonight."  Theo's voice echos in the lab, "To Eichen."

The surgeon makes an approved clicking and turns to prepare.  With the others away, he reaches into a private drawer in his medical instruments storage.  A hidden box sat neatly and untouched.  He opens the box, revealing a beautiful ring connected to a chain.  The band was old, copper.  With small diamonds surrounding the main one.  An emerald.

He tilts his head, starring down at the ring.  Memories haunt his mind.  He remembers who bared this ring.  And remembered what happened.  He must finish what he started...

"Diana..."

"Lydia, I'm going with you."  Stiles states as he grabs his hoodie.

"I thought you said you were sick."  She eyes him.

"I'm slightly under the weather."  Stiles mutters.

"You don't have to come.  Malia's not going either."  Lydia sighs.

"Malia's not going because she knows that that place is a nightmare asylum of insanity and death, okay? Let's go."  Stiles jerks on his hoodie and winces slightly in pain.

"What was that?"  Lydia asks, watching him curiously.

"What was what?"

"You winced."

"I have a bad elbow."

"It was your shoulder."  Lydia points out.

"Pain radiates.  It does that."  He moves to walk to the door, but Lydia stands in his way, arching a brow at him,  "You are not going without me.  You remember what happened to Deaton when he talked to Valack?"

"Scott, Josie, Edward, and Kira are going to be there."  Lydia says.

"Okay.  I'm not letting you go to a place where one of the orderlies almost killed you."  Stiles protests.

"He almost killed you too."  Lydia states.

"And we're both still alive.  See? Teamwork."  Stiles says.

Lydia sighs and rolls her eyes.

Scott and Josie were getting ready for tonight.  Scott sat on Josie's bed, rubbing Fizgig's head as Josie grabs her sweater.  She throws it on and sees Scott watching her, smirking.

"What's with the smile?"  She giggles.

"Nothing, just admiring the view."  He says.

She rolls her eyes and ties the strings on her sweater.  She sighs anxiously, watching her hands shake a little.

Scott frowns and gets up, taking her hands in his, "You ok?"  He asks.

"I'm just...really scared.  We're going to basically a nut house for humans and supernaturals.  I don't want to run into the dread doctors again."  Her body begins to tremble.

"Hey, it's ok." He pulls her into his arms and holds her tight, "I won't let anything happen to you."

"Scott, these guys are strong!"  She mumbles into his chest and pulls back to look up at him.  "They were able to push my powers back into me against my will.  I never want to feel that ever again."  She says.

He shakes his head, "I won't let that happen.  What if it wasn't them?  What if...its your fear?  Remember, they are connected to your emotions.  They scared you to to the point where you couldn't concentrate.  It happened once to me.  I couldn't heal because I felt nothing but guilt.  A few years ago, we thought we lost Derek.  And I blamed myself.  Which caused me to stop healing.  Maybe it's the same?"  He suggest.

She shrugs and leans her head against his chest, breathing in his scent.  "You are stronger than they are.  Just gotta tell yourself that.  You are one of the strongest beings in our world.  Don't let them in."  He murmurs softly.

A knock at the door makes Josie's head snap up and the two of them see Edward and Kira come in.

"Hey, um, heh, I think I left my belt over here.  I can't find it anywhere."  Kira stutters.

For half an hour, they basically tore up the bedroom to find the belt.

"I don't see it anywhere."  Scott says.

Josie looks under the bed, upside down with her hair falling everywhere, "Not here." She says.

"I left it here.  I know I did.  I remember taking it off when we were studying for biology.  Remember?  I said it was poking me and I set it down somewhere."  Kira mutters angrily as she grunts and searches under the bed with Josie.

Josie frowns at how anxious Kira was,  "You okay?"  She asks.

Kira sighs and taking a calming breath, shaking her head 'no'.  She gets up and Josie slides off the bed, catching herself as she gets up fast.  "Head rush."  She groans.

Kira turns to Scott, "Can you do me a favor? Can you look at me with your eyes?"

Scott laughs, "I am."

"She means your other eyes.  We've been discussing about the fox lately and..."Edward looks over at Kira with worry in his eyes then to Scott.  "I can sense the Fox getting stronger.  Females are usually strong.  But, not this strong."

"Just tell me what you see."  Kira says.

Scott nods and moves while Kira and Edward stands together.  Josie moves out of the way and lets Scott look at them.

Scott shuts his eyes, calling forth the wolf inside and opens his eyes as they glow bright red.  He frowns at what he can see.

Kira's fox was larger than Edwards.  Taller than Kira herself.  He could see the power radiating off of her.  The fox points at something.  Scott follows it and sees Fizgig with the belt in his mouth.  He whines softly.  Scott looks back to Kira and pulls the wolf back.  Worry in his eyes.

"What?"  Edward asks.

"What did you see?"  Kira asks, worriedly.

Scott stutters, "Um, Well...I think you're right.  The fox...it's bigger."  He says, carefully.

Kira's eyes widen along with Edward's, "What does that mean?"  Kira asks Edward.

"Honestly, I have no idea.  We should talk to your mom.  Maybe she knows."  Edward says.  He takes pulls her into his arms, "I won't let anything happen to you."

"Um, by the way, found your belt."  Scott points at Fizgig.

They all turn to Fizgig, Kira laughs softly while Josie frowns, "Fizgig!"

Fizgig walks up to Kira and places it by her feet, rolling over exposing his belly.

Kira smiles and grabs her belt, she reaches to pet Fizgig but accidentally shocks him.

Fizgig yelps and runs under the bed.

Kira gasps, eyes widen in fear, "I'm sorry." She says to Josie.

Josie rushes to where Fizgig runs.  She reaches and pets him.  He was ok, just startled.

"He's ok.  You just scared him."

"I'm sorry, Jo.  I didn't mean..." Josie cuts Kira off.

"It's ok.  It was an accident."  She waves it off, but was worried for Kira.

Scott could feel her worry, he pulls her into his arms and looks at Kira and Edward, "Ready?"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As they all arrived to the entrance of Eichen house, Lydia, Kira, and Josie walk up to the gate and presses the button to alert visitors.
"Hello? Anyone there?"  Lydia speaks into the speaker.
Scott looks over to Stiles, he could practically taste the anxiety reeking off of him.
"Are you going to be okay in there?"  Scott asks.
"Yeah.  Why?"  Stiles says, nervously.
"You just seem a little off."  Edward says.  Even he could tell how anxious Stiles was.
"I think we're all a little off."  Stiles says sarcastically.
"Maybe some of us more than others."  Scott says, looking over at Kira with worry.
"Wait.  What happened?" Stiles asks.
"When the other Chimera, Lucas, when he came after us, I heard Kira say something in Japanese."  Scott says.
"That doesn't sound too bad."
"She doesn't know any Japanese."  Edward points out.
"Still not terrible.  I mean, what if she's learning.   She learned how to speak in Japanese at Allison's funeral." Stiles says.
He could be right, but something was very off about Kira.
"I also think I might have stopped her from killing Lucas."  Edward points out.
"Okay."  Stiles says slowly and looks over to Kira who was talking to Josie.  Josie speaks softly to her, and places a hand on her shoulder.  Kira flinches but, was relieved that she didn't shock her.
"Wasn't he trying to kill you, though? I mean, that just sounds like self-defense."  Stiles rubs his sore shoulder.
"It was more than that.  I mean, she nearly took off his head."  Scott says.
"Maybe she had no choice.  There's gotta be a point where self-defense is justified.  Tracy killed her own father.  And Lucas would have killed you."  Stiles points out.
"They're not the bad guys.  They're the victims.  We shouldn't be killing the people we're trying to save."  Scott says.
Stiles sighs and looks down.  This guilt inside him was killing him slowly.  But, he couldn't say anything.
Finally, the gate buzzes and opens for them.  All of them walk towards the gate and go inside the courtyard.  The gate slowly creaked and shut itself.  Everyone turned and heard the lock clicking.  Worry filled their bodies.  It almost felt like they weren't leaving tonight.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

They go up to the front desk and the orderly sighs, placing a plastic container in front of them.

"Please empty your pockets into the container."  He says, monotone.

"We're here to see..."  Scott is cut off by the orderly.

"Please empty your pockets into the container."  He repeats rudely.

Everyone does as he says.

"Please remove your belt and place it into the container."  The orderly eyes Kira's belt.

"I kind of need the belt.  I mean, it's crucial to the outfit."  Kira says, nervously.

"Please remove your belt which patients will attempt to take from you and use to strangle either themselves or others."  The orderly states.

"Right.  Got it." Kira mutters and takes off the belt, placing it in the box.

The orderly eyes Lydia, admiring every inch of her with lust.  Stiles could see how creeped out Lydia was, eyeing the orderly.  Josie frowns at his look.  She looks down at his coffee and calls the wind the blow in his cup till it splashed on his crotch.

"Son of a...!" The orderly yelps and brushes his pants.

He looks over to Josie with anger, she just gives him a challenging look.

Stiles snickers till he sees the pin from last night, the same pin he used to release the bars that killed Donovan.  Oh, my god, how could he have left it in his pocket.  He wanted to take it, but it was too late.  The orderly snatches the box and takes it away.

The door buzzes and a nurse comes out.

They all follow the nurse, Lydia walks near Josie and gives her a hand, Josie smirks and taps it, giving her a silent high five.  Lydia giggles. Scott pulls her close in his arms.

As they walk down the staircase, they follow a guard, leading them downstairs.

"I'll remind you that I'm only doing this as a favor to Deaton.  And I'm doing it against my better judgment."  He explains.

"Hey, what's the etiquette for talking to this guy? I mean, do you ever look at the other eye?"  Stiles asks.

Josie frowns in confusion.

"I wouldn't.  In fact, while you're down here, try not to make eye contact with anyone or anything."  The man says.

They get closer to the gates that separate them from the patients.  But as they get closer, Josie senses Scott wasn't near her anymore.  The three of them turn around and sees Scott, Kira, and Edward looking around the floor and walls.

"You didn't think you were all going, did you?"  The man asks, smirking.

"It's mountain ash, isn't it?"  Scott says.

"Everywhere, but heavily concentrated down here." The man states as he uses his card key to open the gate.  He pushes it wide enough for all of them to enter.  "Valack's cell is the last one at the end of the hall."

Josie looks back at Scott with worry, "We'll be right here."

Lydia and Josie look at each other, she holds on to Josie's arm and they walk together with Stiles down the hallway, passing several inmates, creatures, patients.

Stiles passes one, he could have sworn he saw Donovan in the room.  But when he passes by another window, it was a creatures of some sort.

Josie watches Stiles' reaction and frowns, she looks in the cell and sees.....her father!

She gasps and takes a step back, bumping into Lydia.

"What's wrong?"  Lydia asks.

Josie turns to look at Lydia and looks back at the cell.  The creature stood there, tilting her head at her.

"Nothing.  Just...nothing."  Josie sighs and follows Stiles.  Lydia frowns and looks, sees only the creature.

They slowly approach a cell, inside was a man, in a meditation position with his head down and wrapped in bandages.  As they stopped in front of the glass, Valack looks up at them.

"Tell me what you just saw."  He says.

"Me?"  Stiles points at himself.

"Both of you."  He refers to Stiles and Josie. "The creature in the previous cell.  The Sluagh.  The myth is that they can take on the appearance of the lost souls that have become inextricably bound to it.  Happen to have seen any lost souls, Mr. Stilinski?"  He asks.

Lydia and Josie eyes Stiles' face.

"Everyone down here."  Stiles says.

"Don't give up on us yet.  We're all works-in-progress."  Valack says.

"Where did you hear that from?"  Lydia eyes Valack.

"Wise words from a former cellmate."  Valack gets up on his feet and walks towards the glass.  "And you...young one?"  He eyes Josie.  Josie didn't say anything, which makes Valack smirk at her her.  "He was right...you are very beautiful.  No wonder he wanted you badly.  And how...uncanny you are.  Almost identical."

Josie frowns in confusion, "What do you mean?"  She asks.

"You remind me of someone...someone...from a very long time ago."  He says.

"Diana?"  Josie asks, watching his eyes.

Valack just smirks, not even a flinch.

"Did you bring the book?" He asks, dropping the subject.

Stiles reaches behind him, taking the book out from his pants and holds it up for Valack to see.

"Very nice.  First edition.  Of course, there was only one printing."

Lydia came to realization, "There is no T. R. McCammon, is there?"

"No."  Valack says, simply.

"You wrote the book."  Lydia says.

"That's right, Lydia." Valack smirks. "Maybe you've already guessed that it's not just a book."

"What is it?" Josie asks.

"A tool.  Designed to open your eyes. "

"To what?"  Stiles asks.

"To them.  The Dread Doctors."
