Scott, Josie, Kira, Malia, and Edward met up for study hall in the library. Edward and Kira held hands, smiling lovingly at each other. Josie and Scott cuddled to study for the Biology test. Malia looks at both couples, frowning.

"I'm getting diabetes just looking at you guys." She says.

Scott laughs, "I see you're learning a lot from Stiles."

Edward kisses Kira's knuckles and turns to Malia, "Is Stiles your mate?" He asks.

Malia looks at him, startled by the question, "Um...I...I don't really know." She says.

"I've been wondering that, too. You two have been together since we met. You really never said anything about it." Josie says.

Malia sighs and thinks about it, "I don't really know how to tell if one is a mate or not. How did you know?" She asks Josie.

Josie smiles at the memory of meeting Scott and looks over to him, smiling at him, chuckling at his goofy smile, then she turns to Malia, "It was his eyes. When I looked into them, nothing that ever made sense to me made sense right there. Then, when we touched, it's like feeling warm sparks dance over your skin. And you get the feeling that you don't want to be away from this person for even a second."

Malia smiles at that description, "Stiles might be."

"I might be what?" Stiles pops up and places two pieces of paper on the table.

Malia shakes her head and waves it off, "Nothing." She smiles innocently. "So you found something?" She drops the subject.

"Another signature. This is Theo's dad's signature on a speeding ticket from eight years ago." He points at one paper. "And this is his dad's signature on a transfer form to Beacon Hills High School from just a few days ago." You could see a little difference.

"How did you get his transfer form?" Kira asks.

"You didn't break into the Administration Office?" Scott looks at him in shock.

"No, I did not break into the Administration  Office." Stiles says.

Everyone looks at him, eyeing him.

"Okay, I might have broken into the Administration Office. Can we just focus on the signatures, please? They're different." Stiles taps on both papers.

"They're sort of different." Malia says, going along with it.

"They're completely different. Come on. Look. The garlands don't match, the undulations of the sinuous stroke are totally off. And look, look at this. Perfect example of the Criminal Tremor." Stiles points out.

"So now, Theo is Theo, but his parents aren't his parents?" Kira asks.

"Someone's not someone. And when I figure out who that someone really is, someone's in big trouble." Stiles says.

"But no one's done anything wrong." Josie says.

"Yet. If Theo's parents are both psychotic killers then obviously, we should  not trust him, right?"

"My parents are Peter and the Desert Wolf." Malia points out.

"And my dad tried to kill me due to the rejection he went through that turned him psychotic." Josie says, holing up a hand.

Stiles eyes go wide, realizing he forgot about that. Everyone looks at him, waiting for him to answer.

Stiles sighs and rubs his forehead, "Okay...It's fine. You know what? I'll figure it out myself." He grabs the papers in frustration. "Right? I don't need you or you or you, any of you." He storms away. "I don't need anyone!" He shouts out.

Stiles gets into his jeep, angry and feeling betrayed by his friends. He knows something is wrong with with the whole thing with Theo.

He starts up his jeep, sighing in frustration.

"What's a Criminal Tremor?" Liam asks as he sits next to him.

Stiles grabs the papers out of his hands and crumbles them.

"It doesn't matter." He says bitterly and drives off.

After explaining to Lydia what he saw, Parrish walks with Lydia to his truck.

"I can't do anything official right now, but I can come back after my shift tonight and watch the house for a couple of hours." He says.

She turns to smile at him, "I'll keep you company."

He smiles back, "I think I'll be okay."

"But this is your own time." He declines. "I wouldn't do it if I didn't think something strange was going on. I also owe you."

She frowns in confusion, "For what?"

"Three weeks of digging through every piece of old  literature and mythology trying to figure out the something strange  going on with me." He says.

"But we never figured it out." She points out. "I'll bring you coffee." She offers.

"Don't you have school tomorrow?"

"One class." She says.

"How can you only have one class?" He asks incredulous.

"I had enough credits to graduate last year." She shrugs. "And I will bring you coffee at midnight if I want to."

Knowing he wasn't gonna win this argument, he chuckles, "Medium Americano. Black."

He goes to his truck and Lydia smirks in triumph.

Later that night, Liam and Stiles continues to follow Theo, determine to find something. Well, Stiles was determined at least.

They followed him till they reached the woods. Theo gets out of his SUV and opens his trunk, pulling out parchment wrapped in string. He looks around then shuts his trunk, carrying the parchment with him.

Liam and Stiles watches carefully from the bushes.

"I told you he was up to something." Stiles says.

"We just spent three hours watching this dude play video games in his bedroom. He better be out here covering up a mass murder." Liam sighs.

"Let's find out." Stiles says and the two of them carefully follow Theo into the woods.

They walk down the path, where Theo took, "You still got his scent?" Stiles asks.

"Don't need it." Liam points at the footprints in the dirt.

Liam follows Stiles but stops and sighs, looking over his shoulder, "What? What's wrong?" Stiles asks as he stops to turn to look at Liam.

"I forgot, I was supposed to meet Mason at the school gym." Liam groans.

"Okay, why didn't you just tell him?" Stiles asks.

"Tell him what?"

"Anything."

"I can't just tell him anything."

"Why not?"

"Because..." Liam looks down, stuffing his hands in his pockets as he looks down, kicking the dirt, "I haven't I haven't told him everything."

"Still? We said it was okay." Stiles says as he keeps looking behind him.

"Yeah, I know, but it's not that easy. It's a lot to accept."

"He watched my dad blow up a Berserker with a land mine. I think the groundwork's been pretty thoroughly laid for acceptance." Stiles says sarcastically. "Scott and I have been through this. Okay? More than once. It's always been better when they know." Stiles says and goes back to following Theo.

Liam takes out his cell and gets ready to text Mason, "But what if he freaks out? What if he doesn't want to talk to me? What  if he tries to stab me with something silver? Or what if..."

Liam falls through the dirt and hits the ground with a loud thud.

Stiles frowns at the sound and looks behind him to see Liam was gone but he sees a large hole, he paces over to the hole and sees Liam sitting in mud, "What the hell  are you doing?"

Liam scoffs.

"I..." Stiles suddenly hears footsteps and sees a figure moving in the woods. "There he is. Hurry up.  Stop screwing around." Stiles says as he goes off.

Liam searches for his cell and finds it covered in mud. He checks his messages and sees dozens of texts from Mason. Sighing in disappointment with himself, he turns the flashlight app on and sees something shining in the mud. A necklace with a leaf pendant.

"Come on." Stiles calls out and snaps him out of his thoughts.

Liam uses his wolf side to jump out of the hole and paces to Stiles.

Stiles hides behind a tree and stops Liam from running. Theo stood just a few yards away from them, standing on a small bridge of a pond. He looks down into the water, deep in thought.

"Try and get his scent." Stiles says.

Liam takes a few whiffs.

"Get anything?" Stiles asks.

Liam shrugs, "Soap. It's nice. It smells good."

Stiles rolls his eyes, "Not his soap, his emotional state. Chemosignals, remember?"

"Oh, yeah. Okay." Liam tries to focus on the scent. "I...He's sad." Liam says, frowning.

"He's sad?" Stiles asks.

"Well, not just sad It's more like grief."

"Grief?" Stiles asks and they both look to watch Theo.

Theo unwraps the parchment, beautiful white lilies laid in the parchment. He breaks one off the stem and slowly drops it in the water.

"Oh, my God!" Stiles exclaims softly in realization. He pulls Liam with him, "Go! We have to go."

"What? Why?" Liam asks in confusion as he's being shoved.

"Go! Right now. Just go." Stiles says as they run away.

When they were far enough, he explains to Liam, "That's the bridge where they found his sister."

"What sister?"

"The one that got lost and died from exposure. He's leaving a flower for her."

"That doesn't sound evil."

"I know."

Stiles and Liam skid to a stop as they see Theo standing in a tree in front of them.

He jumps down and gets into a crouch, slowly standing up straight and walking towards them.

"What you guys doing?" He asks.

Liam growls lowly at him and stands near Stiles in protection.

"Whoa." Theo holds his hands up in surrender. "Why do I get the feeling this kid's tougher than he looks?"

"Only when we let him off his leash." Stiles says sarcastically, pulling Liam back a little.

"Stiles, we were in Little League together. Why are you so suspicious of me?" Theo asks, frowning in confusion.

Stiles hesitates, but gets the forms out and hands them to Theo, "Because of these. One's a speeding ticket signed by your dad eight years ago. The other one's a signature on a transfer form to Beacon High. They're different."

Theo looks over the papers and sees the difference, "Huh. Yeah, they do look a little different."

"No, they're totally different. Signed by two different people." Stiles points out.

"So my dad's not my dad? Like he's an imposter?" Theo asks.

"Yeah, something like that." Liam speaks up.

Theo eyes both of them weirdly, then folds the papers up, "Who do you think I am?"

"We don't know yet." Stiles says.

"Want me to give you a DNA sample or something?"

"No. I don't have anything from the fourth grade to match it to."

Theo looks at him in shock, then sighs, "You know, Stiles, I came back here for Scott..but I also came back for you. Someone like you. Someone who's willing to walk into the woods in the middle of the night to protect his friends. I don't have anyone like that, but Scott does. You all do. I know I'm in the right place. I'm meant to be here. I'm meant to be part of this pack."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Liam and Stiles head back to the jeep but stop when they see Scott and Josie.
"Find anything?" Scott asks as he holds Josie close.
"Nope." Stiles shakes his head and paces to his jeep.
"I fell in a hole." Liam chuckles meekly.
Stiles hops into his car, frustrated about this whole night, Scott and Josie walk up to the window, Josie leans against the door, "It was the bridge where his sister died, wasn't it?" She asks.
"Yes, it was. Very embarrassing. So we are gonna leave now." Stiles says bitterly as he tries to start the car. The engine spluttered then stops completely.
"Son of a..." Stiles mutters and rubs his face in anger. He gets out and goes to the hood, "Liam, just do me a favor, get in the car and turn the ignition when I say."
Liam gets into the car and sits in the drivers seat. Stiles opens the hood and begins working on the jeep.
"Stiles?" Scott calls.
"Be with you in a sec." Stiles says as he continues to work. "Try it." Stiles calls out. Liam turns the ignition but nothing. Spluttering and nothing.
"Stiles." Josie says softly.
"Yes. Okay, we followed him out here. What do you want me to say? That I'm a stalker, huh? That I'm crazy, totally paranoid? None of this is new information." Stiles says in frustration.
"Now you're gonna try to at least give him the benefit of the doubt?" Scott asks.
"I give people the benefit of the doubt. I've given a lot of benefit to a lot of people." Stiles says as he works on the jeep.
"Like Derek? Kira? Liam?" Scott points out. "Josie is the only one we've given the benefit of doubt."
"Only cause she's your mate, ok? And I sort of did background checks on her without your knowledge. I already knew about her dad. But, I couldn't say anything cause you two were glued to the hip. And when she told you the truth...I knew Josie was still Josie. And I was right about Peter." Stiles says. "Try it again." He calls out. Nothing.
Stiles exhales in frustration as his stress and anger builds up inside him, "You know, I bet you still think that there's something about him that can be saved."
"Maybe." Scott says.
"Stiles, I have every right not to trust Theo as well you do. But, maybe, we gotta face facts, Theo might as well be any normal werewolf friend of ours." Josie says.
Stiles scoffs and works on the jeep, "Try it again." He calls out. Still nothing.
"Why can't you trust anyone?" Scott asks.
"Because you trust everyone!" Stiles punches the jeep engine and screams in pain.
Josie jumps in surprise and fear for Stiles.
"Are you okay?" Scott asks.
"I'm fine." Stiles groans
"You could've broken it." Josie says.
"It's not broken." Stiles says.
"Let me see it." Scott says.
Stiles couldn't move it, it hurt too much, "I'm fine." He says stubbornly.
"Let me see it." Scott says.
He slowly takes Stiles hand into his and takes his pain away. Stiles watches in surprise that his pain was leaving. When Scott lets go, he could flex his hand and move his fingers.
He looks up at Scott, giving him an apologetic look.
Josie moves and goes up to pull Stiles into a hug. Stiles is startled but, accepts the hug, feeling comfort wash over him. He smiles a little, knowing he was feeling her power. But, suddenly he frowns
"How is she doing that?" He asks Scott.
"Her powers are growing. We found out last month she can calm humans too. Mom was in a tough spot and was on the verge of a breakdown. Josie hugged her and it went away." Scott smiles.
Josie lets go of him then moves to the jeep and works on it for him.
Stiles frowns as Scott does the same thing, she moves off the jeep and pulls the hood down.
"Try it, Liam." She calls out.
Liam turns the key and the engine starts up and the lights come on.
She smirks in triumph and looks over to them.
Stiles pulls her close, "You. I like you so much." He says.
