Programs used was just photoshop and my own mental fortitude. Back when I had it anyway (photoshop, not the mental, thing, though that's up for debate).

I got a Scourge dragon in DragonVale and there was an immediate emotional attachment formed. Also the original designer follows me on twitter. Figures. :)
