"I hate busses" I said as I stared at Wynonna.

 "Me too." Wynonna replied.

We were heading back home to Purgatory for our Uncle Curtis's funeral. We were told he had a stroke, but we both called bullshit. That's only because of Uncle Curtis's email stating that they had caught up to him. Wynonna and I made small conversation before she went to the bathroom.

"What's your name?" a woman asked.

"Katie. Yours?" I stated a fake name because I preferred nobody knowing my actual one.

 "Kiersten"

Wynonna came back from the bathroom advising Kiersten to stop drinking the coffee because the bathroom was a shithole. The bus suddenly stopped.

"Why are we stopping?"

"I think we have a flat tire" I stated.

Kiersten was going to use the bathroom until a woman smirked and walked past her. Kiersten stood up and started walking to get off the bus to pee.

"Kiersten don't go out there" Wynonna advised her feeling a little scared.

"Why?"

"It's dark and you don't know what's out there"

"Pretty and smart. We're going to get along just fine" Kiersten told Wynonna before walking off the bus.

Wynonna and I waited with the others. Suddenly we heard a scream. Wynonna and I both stood up.

"We have to do something!" I exclaimed.

"Yeah drive!" a woman said.

The bus driver sat back down after pulling whatever it was out of the tire.

"Wynonna let's go" I said before walking to the front, grabbing the crowbar that the driver had laying there.

Wynonna walked off first and I followed. We made it to the woods and heard the bus leave.

"Assholes" Wynonna and I said in unison.

I knew something was watching us.

Wynonna had stopped before yelling, "IF YOU HURT HER I'LL KILL YOU!!"

We stopped seeing Kiersten's head on a stick. Suddenly I was thrown into a tree and fell down.

 "WINSTON!?" Wynonna screamed for me.

"I'm fine" I replied as I stood up.

Wynonna was suddenly knocked down then drug backwards and flung into a tree. I ran to help her up then we were thrown onto our backs again. We both layed there for a moment, I looked at her as her pupils grew then shrank back to normal size.

We both jumped up. "Head rush."

Wynonna jumped into the air swinging around and kicking the thing then grabbing the crowbar and swinging it knocking the thing onto the ground stabbing it in the eye. It disappeared then reappeared on a log several feet away from us pulling the crowbar from it's eye and leaving.

"The curse has started Wynonna. By the way, happy birthday twinnie"

"No shit, but Happy birthday Winston" Wynonna said, wrapping an arm around my shoulder.

We began walking back to the highway and toward Purgatory. By early morning we made it to the Purgatory sign. "Welcome home," we both said walking past the sign.

Wynonna called an reported the death of Kiersten and when they asked for her name she hung up.

"Nope" she said taking the back of the phone off and getting the sim card out breaking it and throwing it down.

We walked towards Uncle Curtis's grave and funeral. Everybody stared at us and started whispering. We walked into the house after everyone else went in for food.

"What are you two doing here?" a dude asked but we ignored him and walked over to Gus.

"You two are late as always"

"Sorry we got held up" I replied cooly.

"I'm surprised that you both have stuck together this long. I thought you were in Spain."

"Well we are twins, obviously not identical, and it was Greece" Wynonna replied as I grabbed a bottle of whiskey taking a sip.

"Seriously? You just got here." Gus scoffed.

"Alcohol has no set time" I replied before passing the bottle to Wynonna.

Wynonna tried to tell Gus that maybe something else happened to Uncle Curtis but Gus wouldn't listen and walked off. We left and made our way to Shorty's Bar.

"Well either I'm sucking the fumes out of the back of Willie Nelson's bus or the Earp Twins just walked into my bar" Shorty said as he looked at us.

 "Hey Shorty how's business?"

"Mechanical bull broke a month ago. Chippendales' night was a bust. Not to mention this shit about a dead runaway. Rule #1: You never get off the bus"

 "We did" Wynonna replied.

"You were there? Did you tell the cops?"

"Why we're here. Phoned it in anonymously" I answered his questions.

"Uh-huh"

"Two stints in juvie, a summer riding with the Banditos, still wanted for questioning on the Bleaker case. Relationship with the law enforcement es uno poco complicated," Wynonna answered.

"How about un poco of liquid courage?"

"Just one, we gotta focus on being here for Gus, and Curtis" I replied.

Carl decided to interfere and start shit talking about our great great granddaddy Wyatt Earp. Champ stepped in and got Carl to leave us alone.

"Hiya Champ! So tell us about Uncle Curtis"

"Bring both of your lips upstairs and we can talk all night long" Champ said, eyeing us up and down.

Wynonna and I continued to flirt with Champ. We managed to get upstairs taking our jackets off. Wynonna started unbuttoning Champ's shirt then pushed him on the bed holding a knife to his throat then the eye demanding that he show us where he found Uncle Curtis died.

"He died at your home!"

"The homestead?" Wynonna asked.

Champ kept repeating that he refused to show us.

"No one is going to save you Champ" I said before the door was suddenly kicked open.

"Oh! Except his girlfriend, you skanks!" A woman's voice rank out.

A gun was fired off after me and Wynonna hid on the right side of the bed in a corner.

"Why don't you slip into something more comfy? Like a coma!"

Another shot was fired off. Wynonna and I threw our hands up in the air. "Worst birthday ever"

We both said. "Wynonna? Winston?" The familiar voice of our baby sister rang out.

We both rose our heads and stood up. "Hey sis, you grew out your...hair" Wynonna said.

"Hey Waverly. I missed you!" I spoke after Wynonna.
