"My riders are arriving, and they are ready to depart, Eragon." Nar Garzhvog and Orik said. "They are currently saying goodbye to their relatives and friends."

A misty expression overtook Eragon as he started speaking. "Give them their time; we all know how hard leaving friends and family is." Eragon said.

"Aye, Eragon, but not as much as you. Although you do have Saphira, the Eldunari and the elves, you still had to make the choice of leaving us. I will always respect you for that."

Arya reached out with her mind to see whether or not Kravin and Fafnir have arrived, and the results pleased her. They will be here in just two minutes, and she already knows that Uluthrek and Leviathan are with them. They should be here in the time that Eragon told them to come.

"The job has been done, sir. You have all you need to keep going."  The mysterious man smiled. He was going to be placed as the royal high official, but not under that dumb Nasuada. The war has started.

Eragon sat, meditating for sometime, when, in his head, he heard the sound of many voices silenced. Eragon opened his eyes.

"I feel a great disturbance in the magic, as if thousands of voices cried out and was suddenly silenced" Eragon said. "I hope it was just the aftereffects of the war. Little did Eragon know, though, that these were not in his head.

Thanks for reading! Sorry that this chapter was a bit shorter than usual, but I wanted to post earlier. I am in a dilemma. I have an idea for a new book, but I am not sure whether or not it is a good idea to get another book, after having 2 extreme active books and 3 moderate active books. Tell me what you think!
