Deep in the forest lies an abandoned facility, or so it seems. Within it is a scientist, who long ago created the HV serum. It could transform anyone injected with it into a hybrid. Animal dna becoming intertwined with human seemed impossible. And to everyone else in the world it still is.
Nobody knows of this serum. It has been kept hidden ever since it was created since it wasn't right. It wasn't perfect like the scientist wanted. Instead of just giving humans animal abilities, it turned them into hybrids. They received unnatural animal features. While they did get the enhancements it wasn't was he wanted.
So he continued his work in secret. The procedure could only be done by him. But he had to find test subjects.
The only way the serum will work is if the host is still developing. Children. Not too young, but not too old either. He would kidnap children from the ages of 8-18, and wipe all of the most important memories from their minds. They would wake up not knowing who their family or friends were, where they came from. All they could remember was simple information, their name, and their age.
And they would wake up in the cold, hard cell. Not knowing what happened or the pain that was to fall upon them.
