Loud alarms sounded through the entire building, signalling for an emergency meeting. Dayton turned on the 'heely' feature on his shoes and glided quickly through the halls, not wanting to waste any time. To his misfortune, he came to an abrupt stop when he crashed into his coworker, causing steamy, hot coffee to spill all over him.

"I am so sorry!" Cried Bob who was a plump, balding little man.

"Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't we supposed to go that way." Agent Ebony snapped as he pointed in the direction he was going before he stopped.

"Oh, my bad. Wrong way, I guess." Replied the clumsy man.
Dayton sped away and continued on to the Council of Wishes.

Once he arrived, the agent was shocked to see what was happening. There were well over ten thousand fairies in the room, and all of them had pained, worried expressions painted on their faces. A red light was blinking on the giant map of the world that covered the entire front wall. It was different from the usual golden dots. The constant shouting and arguing of the council members filled the room.

"ATTENTION!" Spoke Minister Cornelius Anderson. Everyone turned silent. "I understand that you all are worried, but you shouldn't be. We have everything under control."

"Under control? Really? I don't think so, because I've never seen a red dot on the map of wonders before, and I'm over four thousand years old!" Complained a woman with fiery red hair.

  "What does the red dot represent, anyways?" Asked Bob.
Cornelius turned pale before explaining to the people what was
happening.
"It's a...kill wish."

The fairies gasped. Never before had there been a kill wish.

"Since this is a very dangerous task, we need an experienced volunteer to take this mission." Right away, all of the agents pointed to Dayton, not because they thought he was skilled, but because they rather disliked him and wanted to get rid of him.

"I guess we have our agent!" Declared the minister. "Agent Ebony, step forward."

"Hold up! I even want to do this!" Argued Dayton.

"Sorry to break it to you, but no one else does either. You leave now!" Said Cornelius. Immediately, Dayton disappeared in a puff of smoke and was gone.
