I watch as Maddy walks off and I'm left alone.

I have no idea where I should go or who I should talk to.

I try to think about Maddy's advice, but all I can remember is her saying, Forget everything I said.

Great....

I sigh and look around for someone to talk to.

I glance at Maddy, she's talking with that one kid, Thomas.
It looks like she's trying to start a fire.

I guess I could start with learning some kind of survival skills.

Maybe I should learn how to use a weapon.

I walk around the training room, lookong for something that I could do.

I notice Katniss in the archery room. I watch her as she shoots at digital targets with her bow.

I walk over and stare in awe.

I love bows, ever since I can remember I've always wanted to become an archer.

Of course, I never though that I'd get that chance.

I look at the rack that hold several different bows, quivers of arrows hang on the side.

I reach for one of the bows, I've never held one before.

I run my fingers over the bowstring, it's such a beautiful, but deadly weapon.

I notice Katniss finally come out of the room.

She looks in my direction, but she doesn't say anything.

"Are you going now?"

I jump and spin around.

Legolas is looking at me, he has his own bow in his hands and a quiver of arrows on his back.

"I'm sorry, what'd you say?"
I ask nervously.

I feel my face turning red.

I hope he doesn't notice, that'd be embarassing.

"Are you going to train with your bow now, or can I go?"
Legolas asks again.

"Oh! Well... I've never actually used a bow before."

I look down at the one in my hands.

"Would you like to learn?"

My heart skips a beat.

"You'd help me?"
I ask in disbelief.

"You cannot go into the arena without knowing any way to defend yourself."

Legolas walks towards the room Katniss was in earlier and I follow.

He presses some buttons on a keypad.
He seems so out of place here.

I notice Jack and Will out of the corner of my eye, they don't exactly fit in either.

"Pay attention."

Legolas' voice snaps me out of my thoughts.

Legolas enters the room and the lights dim.

I watch as orange holograms of people appear in the room, each one holding a different kind of weapon.

I watch as Legolas dodges their attacks and shoots them with his bow.

He doesn't miss a single one.

I watch with wide eyes as he skillfully takes out target after target.

Everyone else notices too, but no one comes over and says anything.

Well, except for two people.

"Show off."

I turn around and see Jack and Will, both are watching Legolas train.

"He's just showing me how to use a bow."
I say to Jack, not really understanding why I'm getting so defensive.

"I don't see how he expects you to be able to learn all that."
Jack watches Legolas, and then he turns to Will, and back to Legolas.

"Will you please stop doing that?"
Will narrows his eyes Jack.

"Doing what?"

"Looking at me like that."

"I'm trying to figure something out Will."

"What are you trying to figure out?"
I ask Jack.

"I'm trying to figure out if Will has a brother who also happens to be an elf."

"What?"
Will and I say at the same time.

"Just look at him."
Jack says as Legolas walks out of the room, he looks at the three of us in confusion.

"Now look at Will."

I look at Will, and then at Legolas.

"What the...."

Legolas and Will are staring at each other now.

Their eyes widen and they look at one another in shock.

"Now you all see what I am talking about!"
Jack announces catching the attention of everyone else.

"You two have to be related some way!"

"Impossible."
Legolas says looking at Jack.

"Well I don't see any other explanation."
Jack narrowed his eyes at him.

"There is a perfectly logical explanation Jack."
Will crossed his arms.

"We just look alike. That's all."

"Nope. You must be distant cousins or something."
Jack paused for a minute.
"Unless of course you're both the same person."

"Okay now that's just ridiculous."
I say rejoining the conversation.

Jack shrugged.

"Believe what you all want to. But I still say you are both either cousins, or the same person."

"Jack stop being crazy."
Will said.

"Crazy people don't know they are crazy. I know I am crazy therefore I am not crazy. Crazy huh?"

Will sighed as Jack walked away.

He and Legolas exchange one last look before turning away.

"That was weird."
I say aloud.

"Would like to learn how to use your bow?"
Legolas asks me.

Oh yeah! I almost forgot about the bow.

"Sure."
I say.

Legolas smiles, barely.

"Alright then, let's begin."
