My Dearest Eliana,

There are so many things about your life that I wish were different. In my dreams I would have been able to watch you as you've grown into the self-assured, strong minded woman I know you to be. You are destined for something more than you know. This world can't contain the beauty and strength within your soul.

I have many regrets in this life. But you, I have never regretted loving you or what our family sacrificed for your safety. I have only wanted your life thus far to be peaceful and joyful. The preparation for what is to come will test the life you have lived so far. But in my heart, I have every confidence that you will prevail.

My desire is for you to know your story, the reason you are here, the reason we weren't together as you grew up. However, it is not yet time for you to hear the tale. If you are reading this letter, then the time is quickly approaching. Don't walk away from the opportunity when it arises. It will seem strange, and you may be frightened. Believe that you can, know that it is within you to do so, and you will overcome.

The gift I leave you is precious. Both my home, which I patterned after one from our homeland, and the family stone, which the key will lead you to, has been kept for just this time. As I know you will rise to your true potential, I also know you will unlock the secrets held within this precious stone.

I realize that this letter may have left you with more questions then it answers. Let your heart guide you and the answers will come. Follow your destiny and everything will fall into place, coming together as it was meant to be.
