----A Week After The Incident----

"Hey uh, Y/N?"

"Yeah, cupid?"

Pit and Y/N were sitting outside Aether's cottage by the shore. They feet soaking in the river styx and sitting on the miniature docks outside her house.

Pit drew his hand up to his cheek nervously "Have you thought about what I said?" he looked at her with innocent, bashful eyes. Y/N was amused "You say a lot of things, cupid. You're gonna have to be specific..." she was enjoying every bit of this.

"You know what I mean!" Pit was blushing now, Y/N leaned closer to him "No," she grinned "No, I don't." she said, resting her chin on her hand.

Pit was looking away now "You know... when I said that-" "I love you." Y/N interrupted him. Pit nodded, rubbing the back of his neck "Yeah... that." he looked back at her, his cheeks on fire. Y/N rolled her eyes "I just said it." she snapped.

"Said what?"

"You're such an idiot Pit!"

"H-.. huh?! What did I do?"

"I just told you that I loved you!"

Pit jerked back, almost falling into the river, stunned. His cerulean eyes looked at her in confusion "Are you joking?" Y/N glared at him "Something as serious as this? No you idiot!"

Pit held both Y/N's hands in his "I love you too, Y/N. Thank you for everything that you've done. You've  proved the entire world wrong." Pit leaned in closer, with a soft smile. Y/N grinned and closed the gap between them, the light of Aether's cottage making them mere silhouettes.
