Aphmau POV

"I..." I drift off, looking back at my friends who are struggling while yelling at me to run. I start to think everything they have done for me. Sky, Max, Ross, Barney and Jin have always been their for me since I was a child. The Few helped me when I was alone. Katelyn, Cadenza and Castor always were my best friends when I was in MyStreet. Alex, Katelyn, Kala and Cadenza helped me defeat Loki's physical form. Katelyn helped me find the Sky Army. The Vacktors welcomed me into their family when I was missing mine. Ssundee and Crainer always made me laugh when I was down. Mitch and Jerome always played hunger games with me. Nick, Cory and Preston would always play hide and seek with me. Jason would always show me his suit. All of them are my family and I can't let anything happen to them. I know what to do.

"Fine. Just release them!" I shout, placing my Irene sword and my charm on the floor before turning back into my normal form.

"Good choice. Now come here princess." I look back at my family with a reassuring smile before walking towards Squidward. I quickly mind link Jin some words before finally standing in front of the squid King.

Author POV

As Jessica or Aphmau was covered in the Kings tentacles and dragged into the hatch of their old base which is now flooded, the rest were trying to escape.

"Jess! No!" Sky shouted, trying to grab onto one of the squids, wanting to teleport with them but it was no use. He didn't care if he was locked away as well as long as he was with his little sister. Instead of succeeding, he was thrown into a tree before all of the squids finally disappear.

"Sky!" Max shouts, running in his direction to see if he was okay but Sky just stands up and walks past him, kneeling down in front of the charm and sword that was left on the ground. He picked up the charm and sword in his hands, hugging them as he cries.

"Why couldn't I protect you? I promised back then and I failed. I promised again and I still failed. I'm just a failure!" All of the recruits watch him with tears eyes. Well all of the recruits except for two. Jin and Quentin. Quentin could feel the same ghostly feeling from when Jess disappeared back at the alter where he got his water stone. She returned safely then so why won't she return safely now?

"Why are you crying?" A girl with waist length black hair and glowing violet eyes asks, kneeling down in front of Adam.

"I couldn't protect her... I promised that I would protect my little sister but I failed..." Is all he says.

"Well I don't know who else your sister is but I know that I'm here for you." Everybody looks shocked at the girl who is speaking. She lifts Adam's chin up, making his golden eyes face her own glowing violet eyes.

"Jess? What..." Is all he says before he jumps on Jess, giving her a bone crushing hug. Everybody soon joins in with the hug.

"C-can't breathe!" She says, making everybody let go. She takes in a few deep breaths.

Aphmau POV

"Thank you!" I say before taking my enchanted stick out of my back pocket. I draw a symbol in the air before taking my charm out of Sky's hands and putting the stick in the storage.

"How are you here? We watched you get taken! And why is your hair so long? Why are your eyes glowing violet?" Katelyn starts to ramble but I cut her off.

"Jin helped me." I say, making everybody face Jin. He just holds his hands up in surrender.

"Explain the story. Explain everything." Max says.

Flashback

"Fine.." I say before putting my things down and turning back into my normal form. Before I changed, my normal form had my enchanted stick in my back pocket. I quickly mind link Jin.

'I need you to freeze time. Just do as much as you can please.' He does as I say and freezes down time. I take my stick out of my pocket and slash the air in a few directions a few times before pointing it at myself. A clone of me is created. I quickly tell her what's happening before taking my spectral key out and turning it in the air. I close my eyes as the wind passes by me before opening them again to see my storage area but with something or somebody I wasn't expecting.

"Who are you?" I ask cautiously. She just chuckles before standing up from her chair.

"I am who you call the Phoenix goddess. It's a pleasure to finally meet you in person." She says before taking my hand and shaking it.

"Nice to meet you too but may I ask a question? Why are you showing yourself to me?" I tilt my head to the side. She just smiles.

"I came here to train you. It's about time you learned some of your own magics." I stare at her wide eyed.

"B-but I can't! My friends need me. I have to go back to them." She just shakes her head at me.

"Don't worry child. This room has a spell on it making time slower in this dimension. We will just have enough time to teach you the basics. Just to transform into different animals and the basics of the four elements. The rest you will teach yourself." She informs me. From then on, we spent about a year in my storage room. I now know how to turn into small animals and I can control the four elements.

"Thank you so much for training me!" I hug her. She hugs me back.

"Don't worry about it my child. Just know that I will always be here for you if you need me but for now, your friends need you more." She says before pushing me to the floating key. I turn it, making me teleport back to see everybody crying except for Jin and Quentin. I guess he realised the aura my key have off.
