Aphmau POV

"What do you mean there is no cure?!" I hear a familiar voice shout, making me groan.

"Hush. You will wake her up." Hyria says, making me sigh before sitting up.

"Too late. Morning. What's up?" I ask, running the sleep out of my eyes while yawning.

"I have some good news and some bad news." Hyria says. I give her my full attention.

"What's the bad news?" I ask her. She sighs.

"There is no way to make a charm to cancel the effects of the teleporting but the good news is that whatever is causing you to teleport in your dreams is also blocking your mind from anything, even me. If you were to be captured by the squids, you wouldn't be under their control until they figure out how to stop this." She explains to me. So I can never sleep again?

"What do you suggest we do then?" Sky asks.

"Well I suggest that when she sleeps, there would be somebody with her in the room. If they are close enough, they should teleport with her and they could stick together." She says after a minute of thinking. I stand up, dusting myself down.

"Well we should probably get back to the house then." I sigh. "Thanks for the help, I appreciate it Hyria." I say before grabbing Sky's hand that he is holding out. He leads us both out of the chamber.

"If you need anything else, just ask. Feel free to visit any time." Is the last thing I hear before feeling myself fall on an unlucky individual.

"I think my back just broke..." Mitch sighs.

"Hey! I'm not that heavy! It's just muscle." I say, standing up and placing a hand on my hip. Sky landed next to Mitch, standing up.

"Yeah yeah... anyway, I'm going to go and cook some food. It should be done in about an hour." Mitch informs us before walking away.

"Let's go to my room. I will call the other leaders so we can have a meeting." Sky says before leading us both to his room, mind linking the others while we walk. I can't listen to the conversation though since I don't have my charm. Soon, we reach Sky's room. I run over and jump on his bed, instantly groaning at the pain in my back. He chuckles.

"What? I'm still a kid and it's your fault I probably have a big bruise on my back!" I exclaim, sitting up. He just shakes his head at me before sitting down on his chair. The others come in.

"Shut the door behind you." Sky says. I motion Ross to come closer to me, tugging his scarf off as soon as he is close and putting it on. I sigh in relief.

"My scarf!" Ross complains, trying to get it back but I just run behind Sky.

"Ross do you mind letting her wear your scarf? We had a bit of an... incident." Sky awkwardly rubs the back of his neck, avoiding eye contact with me.

"What did you do this time?" Jin sighs as Barney gives me a hug. I turn to Ross.

"Hey Ross. Remember the time when we walked down that long stairway back in the shrine?" I ask him. He slowly nods, not getting what I'm saying. "Well I couldn't move so Sky had to carry me while we were running from the squids and he dropped me down that stair case and under the trap. I couldn't sit up so Sky has to grab my foot and slowly drag me out. Very painful." I shudder. Everybody gives me a sympathetic look before glaring at Sky. He puts his hands up in surrender.

"Anyway..." he drifts off.

"What's the meeting about?" Barney asks, making us all get back on topic.

"Well we need to discuss Jess's sleeping patterns. We went Hyria's earlier and found out that we can't fix her sleep teleporting so she will have to have a schedule. She can't sleep on her own because the teleporting will make her weak and defenceless. She keeps teleporting to the squid kingdom and we can't find a way to stop it." Sky explains while I sit back down on the bed, leaning against the head board. I suddenly feel really tired.

"So what do you want to do?" Jin asks. Nobody pays attention to me as I am slowly slipping in and out of consciousness. I tried to tell them but my voice won't work. I just sit there instead, staying awake.

"Well Hyria told us that if we are very close to her while she is asleep then we will teleport with her and we can drag her from any danger. We need to keep her safe at all costs." I hear Sky say but it's faint. Faint yet clear.

"I guess that would be best but will Jess allow us to stalk her while she sleeps?" Max asks, turning to face me. "Jess don't fall asleep!" He shouts. But it's too late. The darkness finally wins the fight.

I open my eyes to see darkness. Just darkness. There is no ground, no roof, no wall. Just the dark abyss in front of me. It feels like I am floating but also falling.

"Well niece. Seems we meet again." I hear a familiar yet dark voice.

"Loki! Where are you!? Show yourself you coward!" I shout. I try to move but I feel too weak to. I look in front of me to see the person I hate the most. Loki.

"Looks like somebody has been having trouble sleeping. I thought we should have some bonding time together." He snaps his fingers, making a table appear out of nowhere.

"You're the one who made me sleep?" I shout at him. He gives me an evil smirk.

"I'm also the person who is making you teleport to the squid kingdom. The quicker you are captured, the quicker I can break out of my slumber." He chuckles darkly.

"You will never get away with this!" I shout at him.

"Oh? But I already have." Is the last thing I hear before I feel myself falling.

"Jess! You're awake!" I hear Castor shout. Wait... Castor? I thought he went to take care of his chickens?

"What are you doing here Castor?" I groan, making him quietly laugh.

"I sensed that you were in one of those dreams. I came as fast as I could." He smiles at me. I smile back, ignoring the confused looks from the others around me.
