Where we left off...

It's been a long time since (your OC), as well as Sonic and friends have had a full adventure together since the Twilight Mobius fight.

Some of the gang has already moved on their own careers outside Eggman battles...

...while others have even married and even have kids at this point.

You'd think with all that's happening, the world had just finally settled down and stopped all conflict.

But as always...evil never ends, it just keeps coming back in another form.

Some of the heroes have found it a little uneasy that somehow even Eggman is starting to tire down.

Whenever Eggman is gone....who will try to fill that void and try where he left off?

At least Twilight Mobius' Sonic and that robot Eggman from another world are the only inter-dimensional threats...........right?

A secret warehouse in Central City...

A human figure wearing tactical armor painted with bone design on it walks in, his holsters having side arms and blades ready in case of an ambush.

He then hears something fall over swiftly turns around, pistol drawn to see 3 figures: a purple weasel, a polar bear and a green bird.

"Seriously? What's a bunch of low tier bounty hunters like you three doing here?" The man says.

The weasel glares at him. "Hey! I make more than you ever do just to make trouble for Sonic!"

"I got paid billions to hunt down a super weapon for that mustache freak. You're not the same level as me." The man tells him.

"Who are you supposed to be anyways?" The bird says to him.

"Death Streak. No one lives to tell the tale about me." He replies.

A trio of cats land down near the two sides. "Really? Then allow us to be the first."

"Or how about I take the bragging rights?" A large rhino bursts in through a wall.

A Mobian figure wearing a mask to conceal their entire head walks in behind him, straightening the tie on his suit. "Please, can we not be civilized and choose to settle this in a more mannered way?"

"Ok, who the heck invited all of you here?" Death Streak says. "I was told to come here alone, not hang out with you losers."

"That would be me." said a silhouetted figure up on a high platform, the entire group of villains looking up at them.

The leader of the cat trio says. "Who are you? It does not make sense for someone to just invite all of us here, especially since we all don't work on the same team."

"My name isn't important." The mystery person said.

"What does matter is that we all have a common enemy to unite against. All of you may do what you do on different levels, but as a team, we can crush our enemies and conquer this world."

"And what do we get in return for agreeing to your little team up? My services don't come cheap." Death Streak crosses his arms.

"The goal is actually the same as the reward." The mystery person replied.

"And what is that?" The rhino asks.

The mystery person smirks darkly and answered him.

"Destroy Sonic and his friends."

Chaotix Detective Agency

Vector stretches some and looks at Espio and Charmy. "Been another long day here at the office. I think it's time to close shop and go home."

"I still can not figure out how Charmy managed to find out where a red button is in an entire room of red." Espio said to himself.

"I'll tell you tomorrow, Espio." Charmy says before looking at Vector. "Hey have you seen my backpack? It's got some books I borrowed from the library."

Vector shrugs and says. "I didn't keep track of it ever since our first case today."

Charmy looks around for a bit and then sees something underneath the table. "Oh there it is!"

Just as Charmy was about to grab it, Espio hears something.

Espio's eyes widened and he reached out to stop him. "Charmy! Don't!"

A minute earlier...

Bopper was walking down the street towards the Chaotix's place, coming to give the trio a visit before he went back home himself.

"I wonder how the guys been doing since we last talked?" Bopper asked himself.

"Last time I spoke with Vector, he told me he dropped his sponsorship with me due to him needing to cut back on spending. Espio rarely talks, though I guess we never really had much to talk about. And Charmy has mostly hanged out with Cream ever since the Twilight Mobius event."

When he reached close to the detective agency, he heard the usual noise and chatter from outside, "Those guys can't stay quiet, can they? I bet Mighty would say not much changed since he left."

Upon getting in close, a yell from Espio is the only warning he gets before something unexpected happens.

BOOOOOMMM!!!

A giant explosion destroyed the agency, sending the bear flying back several feet and crashing into the other side of the street.

Bopper groans and gets up before he's surprised to see the agency completely in flames and the structure torn apart.

He rushes over inside the wreckage and lifts the debris up, getting a large slab of a wall off Vector and moving a beam off of Espio.

The bear eventually finds Charmy coughing some and falling unconscious underneath a chair, quickly getting him out.

"Who did this?" He asked himself as he looked around.

Bopper then sees a few metal pieces that didn't look like part of the house.

He quickly figured out.....a bomb went off in this place....

Someone tried to kill them!

Bopper pulls out his old headset from the Resistance and does a call.

"This Bopper sending out a call to anyone out there. We have a Code Red situation! Three members down! I repeat! Code Red! Three members down!"

(Roleplay starts at hospital a few hours later)
