Bloodscar

Soon, Snakehiss returned with Darkgrowl and his apprentice, Tornpaw as well as Flowertear. Bloodscar gave Darkgrowl a nod before turning to Flowertear, who was already examining Spotshred's body. "Clear it away, please, " he growled softly. She turned to Bloodscar with warm eyes and purred, "Of course" before dragging Spotshred's stiff body away. Bloodscar watched as she came to the low twoleg-fence thing and tried to heave the ginger tom's body up the fence. But she gave up and nudged the ginger tom's body through the small space beneath the twoleg-fence thing instead before leaping gracefully over the fence and disappeared. Bloodscar turned back to the cats. "Let me show you this move.." he told them.

He nodded to Darkgrowl, who stepped up and unsheathed his claws. Bloodscar flicked his hind legs into the air, spun on his forepaws, leaped back, reared up, raked Darkgrowl's muzzle with each unsheathed paw before tucking his head down and finishing the advanced move with a neat forward roll. Tornpaw and Shredpaw nodded. "That's a cool move!", they echoed. "Wait, this battle isn't finished yet, " Snakehiss warned as Darkgrowl darted underneath Bloodscar and tried to slash at Bloodscar's hindquarters but Bloodscar was too fast for him. In a flash, Bloodscar dropped his whole weight onto Darkgrowl and grasped him. Tugging Darkgrowl onto his side, Bloodscar raked Darkgrowl's spine with his hind claws while gripping Darkgrowl's shoulder firmly with his forepaws.

Darkgrowl went limp and Bloodscar grip on Darkgrowl slackened. But in a split second, Darkgrowl had leaped upwards, flinging Bloodscar into a small bush. He then sprang at Bloodscar, pelt matted and literally  dripping with scarlet drops of.. blood. Darkgrowl reached out with his forepaws for Bloodscar's head, but Bloodscar was already getting back up onto his paws. The two toms met each other head on, slashing at each other. Darkgrowl slashed at Bloodscar's eyes wildly and blood started to well from the cut above Bloodscar's eye, blinding him.

But Bloodscar wasn't going to admit defeat so easily. He snarled as the two of them stumbled and Bloodscar flew at Darkgrowl with his claws outstretched as soon as he recovered. But Darkgrowl was ready after moons of training under Bloodscar's brutal ways. He reared up and used his forepaws to twist Bloodscar away. Bloodscar was as strong as a boulder though and the two grappled together for some time. Meanwhile, Snakehiss and the two apprentices were watching curiously at the ongoing mock battle without surprise or shock at the ferocity of the mock fight. It was something that was normal in a BloodClan warrior's every day life.

Finally, the duo broke apart. Even Bloodscar was panting slightly. He gave Darkgrowl a nod of approval. "He has learned well." Bloodscar thought as he ordered Darkgrowl to go to Flowertear for some cobwebs for his wounds.
Bloodscar watched as Darkgrowl limped off before turning to mew to the others, "Let's practice that new move I showed you cats at the beginning..."

When the battle training ended, Snakehiss, Darkgrowl and Tornpaw went off with a hunting patrol led by Shadowheart to hunt. It was a BloodClan rule introduced by Bloodscar that every BloodClan warrior must contribute at least a piece of prey to the Clan before dusk every day or face punishment , even though the hunting space was limited. Bloodscar knew that this would push his warriors to become better hunters.

Bloodscar went off to hunt alone, leaving Woodclaw in charge of the camp. Flowertear emerged from her den just as Bloodscar was leaving and mewed softly, "May I come with you?" Bloodscar was going to snap at her and tell her that he needed his own time when he saw her warm green eyes and sighed inwardly. "Of course " he muttured before padding towards the opening between two abandoned Twoleg dens that led him to a patch of forest with Flowertear following him. Bloodscar felt annoyed at himself for agreeing but he had said what he had.
