I trotted happily across the clearing to the freshkill pile. What an odd sight, me, a small kitten with small legs and a fluffy tail. With white fur that only helps in the snow, and dappled grey spots casted against the white cliff called fur. That's me, little DelilahKit, soon to be a paw!

I snatched up a small vole. It was late Greenleaf, so good was good for the most part. In Windclan, it was mostly rabbits, a rare bird, field mice, and a few voles by the river. My personal favorite was voles, which I started eating in the sun by the entrance of camp. My closest friends, RobinKit, GoldenKit, and Pebblekit settled down across from me with a rabbit to share.

Robinkit had a rusty colored coat with splatters if oranges and yellows. His eyes are a shadowed amber with golden flakes. He has a thin tail and short furred pelt, with a slightly more muscular frame then all the group.

Pebblekit was a small she~kit who is my sister! She has a mostly grey pelt with white that spotted like a cheetah and striped under her eyes. Her eyes are a soft teal, unlike mine which are blue on the left and a light green in my right. She had slightly longer legs then me, and used that to her advantage over me. Pebblekit has a lot shorted coat then me also.

GoldenKit is a large she~kit with a sturdy build. She is a soft yellow and orange with a white underbelly and under her tail. She has a medium length pelt that she constantly cleans, and has bright green eyes.

I purr, "Hi guys!"

The other kits purr greet me with raised tails and warm smiles. "Anything special?" I start the conversation.

"Tomorrow we are apprentices!" Pebblekit cried happily.

"I know that silly! What about you two?" I giggle, taking a chunk of vole.

"Mine is today and Robinkit's apprenticeship begins the day after yours. We are SO lucky to have birthdays near each other and that we will be six moons soon," Goldenpaw mewed, taking a large portion of the rabbit.

"That is pretty co--" Robinpaw started to agree, but was cut of by a sharp cry.

"FOX!" A warrior cried.

I stopped seeing the creature explode through the wall right behind us. I jumped to my feet, bristling. "Run!" Pebblekit whimpered and scrambled away.

I paused, looking at the fox then to my friend who were racing away.

》Your Time To Decide《

Should Delilahkit defend her clan and risk being injured by attacking the vicious fox?

Or should Delilahkit run, letting the others risk their lives just to play it safe?
