(When Nash is 10, Lilly is 7, Hayes is 7, Will is 13 Skylynn isn't born yet. 2007.)

Lilly's POV

"Nash you cant catch me." I yell tauntishly at my older brother Nash. Today is his 10th birthday.
"I think i can." He says. I run into the woods behind our house. I trip on a log and i feel my head hit something. I lay on the ground all of the sudden i feel like my head is being dipped in water. I reach my hand to head and see my hand is drenched in a red liquid. The world starts spinning the last thing i saw was nash tears running down his face.
"Stay awake. please." He says just as things go black.

Nash's POV

We run into the woods but i knew she was much faster than me. She falls to the to the ground i watch the blood flow out of the gash in her head. I start to crying.
"Stay awake. please." I cry. Her eyes close and role back. I pick her up and start running back toward the house. My parents went to pick up our cake so Will is watching us. I run in
"WILL HELP LILLY'S HURT." I yell through tears.
Will come running in my little brother hayes on his back.
"Omigod lilly." He picks up his cell and dials 911.
"Nash did you see what happened." He asked in tears.
"We were playing and she triped on a log and hit her head and now shes bleeding really bad." I say through the pain in rememberance of what happed.
He repeted every thing i said to him into the phone.
I set her on the floor lightly, took off my shirt and wraped it around the gash in her head. I start to pray.
"God please dont take my sister. Take me. Please dont take the girl." I plead my hands folded to the sky and my eyes shut. A bunch of paramedics run through the front door picking Lilly's unconsion body off the ground and on to a stretcher. I could only repeat
"God please don't take the girl." They put the stretcher into the back of an abulance. All three of us get into the back. I watch as they hook my sister up to a bunch of medical things. I only knew what some of the things were. Like an oxegyn tube, IVs, a pulse thing, and more. I saw the pain my sister was going through. I take hayes and wills hand will and i both take lillys hands. Will looks at me and hayes. We all close our eyes.
"God we need you now more than ever, please save our sister. She is not ready to leave this earth. Please we would do anything and everything for you to keep this fallan angle on earth as long as you can." Will says.
"Amen." We say even the nurse that was making sure that every thing was okay and that lilly wasn't dead.
"Nash is Lilly going to be okay." Little hayes asks wiping small tears from his eyes. The nurse hands him a tissue. He blows his nose and looks at me his eyes were begging for an answer.
"I dont....know." i sigh looking at lilly with my shirt covered in blood wraped around her head.
"She's strong she'll be okay." Will says.
"Okay......We only have one lilly and we need her. To kiss our boo boos when mommy's on the phone to play foot ball with us when dady's buisy with work." He says.
"Buddy i dont think she is going to be playing football for a while. She's got a big boo boo a that is really bad." Will says hugging hayes. He nods
"Can she still kiss our boo boos." He asks.
"I think that she'll be able to do that still." Will says softly. I don't know why but i feel like something worse is going to come after this. What if that's gods way of telling me that its Lilly's time to say good bye. I start tearing up at the thought of losing my sister.
"God don't take my sister. Don't take my sister."
I wisper obviously loud enough for the nurse to hear.
"Your sister is gonna be ok. Your mommy and dady are meeting us at the hospital. She'll get stiched up and she already has blood waiting for her at the hospital. Are you her twin of just a brother." She says
"Im her older brother Hamilton Nash Grier. Thats our older brother Will Grier and thats Benjamin Hayes Grier her twin brother. I go by Nash and Benjamin goes by hayes." I say.
"Okay thats nice to know. My names is morgan." She says
"So you really think my sister will be ok." I ask looking at my helpless sister lying on the stretcher. The amblance hualts to a stop. The back doors open and i see my mom and dad standing at the entrance crying they see me and the other two boys. We run to them my mom hugs me and Hayes my dad hugged will.
"It's all my fault. I should have been the one to trip. She doesn't want to go to heaven just yet. I don't want her to go to heaven just yet." I wimper into my moms side
"Hamilton nash grier it's not you fault. I don't think gods gonna take just yet she's got a long life ahead of her. Right chad?" She says. My dad nods. We run behind the paramedics, the nurses hold Will and my dad from following any further, but i managed to slip past them and kept running. They got to a room and mrs.morgan saw me.
"Well nash what are you doing back here. You can't be here. Come on I'll take you back to your family." She says reaching her and out.
"But i want to stay with my sister." I wimper taking her soft hand.
"Sweet heart I don't think you can. Can you tell me some things about you sister." She asks as we start walking.
"Her full name is Lilly Eloise Elizabeth Grier. She likes football and music. Her favorite song is love bug by the Jonas brothers she likes to sing and dance along and sometimes i'm her dance partner. We climb tree's and play at parks. Oh and in the summer time we like to swim at the lake or in a pool once in a while mom and dad take us to the beach. She is in the school choir and she skate boards. Her birth-day is june 8th. Her favorite place is under the willow tree at davidsday, my big brother Will's school. I'm her best friend, and she always wanted a little sister so hayes let her dress him up like a girl ." I laugh at the memory.
"Wow you know alot about her." She says with a smile.
"Are you sure my sister will be okay?" I ask my smile fading.
"Positive!" She says holding out her pinkie. I link my pinkie with hers. We finily are back in the waiting room.
"Hamilton where were you." Mom asks in a relived tone
"He walked past the nurses to stay with lilly. But i got him. He told me some stuff about lilly. So are you the mother of Lilly Eloise Elizabeth Grier." Morgan asks my mom
"Yes im elizabeth grier. Is something wrong?!?" Mom asks morgan.
"Accualy yes mrs.grier. can we talk in private?" Morgan ask.

Elizabeth's POV

"Accauly yes mrs. Grier. Can we talk in private?" The nurse asks. I nod and follow her.
"Well your daughter has a pretty big gash in her head." I nod for her to go on."She was bleading alot and we think that scared her. She's still alive and will wake up. But she suffered a stroke once we got into the hospital." She says i start to tear up my little lilly suffered a stroke my only daughter had a stroke.
"She'll live right." I ask tears flowing from my eyes.
"Yes we are 100% positive she'll live. But she will have other problems." She says
"Like what???" I ask worried.
"Well Lilly's stroke took her ability to move her right side. Also she might have lost some of her memory." She says
"Can she ever regain her memory?" I ask. What if she doesn't remember nash or other family members they'll be crushed.
"She will eventualy remember."
"So she woln't remember anything. Like family or friends." I ask
"She might remember the people closest to her. Her memory will keep progressing." The nurse states. I think about who she's closest to her. So she woln't remember chad or i but she might remember Nash, hayes, will, and cameron dallas
"Show her old photos and recent photos. Bring the people closest to her." I nod. I engulf her in a hug.
"Thank you." I said Whiping the tears from my eyes.
"Your welcome." She say rubbing my back.
"When can we see her?" I ask.
"Right now,if you want." She states.
"Thank you i'll get my family."
