The next day morning
Itsuki (POV)
We're in the nearby woods getting ready for training. Reo sensei was teaching all of us.
Reo- Alright. Let's get started.
Naruto- Right.
Reo- First, we will review chakra. Understanding chakra is essential.
Sasuke- We know that.
Naruto- He's right. A long time ago we learned about uh.....
Akari- Chakra?
Naruto- Yeah.
Akari *mind*- Imbecile.
Sakura explains chakra to Naruto.
Reo- Excellent work. Iruka sensei taught you well.
Naruto- What's the big deal with all these complicated explanations? The whole point is to learn the Jutsu isn't it?
Sasuke- Naruto's right for once. We're already using chakra energy in our Jutsu's.
Itsuki- That's far from the truth. We haven't mastered this power. We still have a lot more learning to do. We've barely scratched the surface of it after all.
Naruto- What do you mean?'
Reo- Calm down. It's just like Sakura said. You have to draw on spiritual and physical energies and then combine them in yourself.
He continues to tell us about chakras and jutsus.
Reo- Train so hard that controlling your chakra becomes second nature. To achieve this goal you must be ready to die.
Kaito- What do we have to do sensei?
Reo- Climb a tree.
Itsuki- Say what now?
Reo- Yep. Climb a tree and oh, you can't use your hands.
Sakura- You're kidding?
Akari- He's not.
Reo does a Jutsu signal and goes to a tree a proceeds to walk up it. He hands upside down without falling form the tree.
Reo- See? No hands. I'm pretty sure you guys get the gist here. You gotta focus chakra into the soles of your feet and connect to the tree. Easy as pie.
Kaito- How's that gonna help us body Zabuza for good this time?
Reo- This is the only way to fight him kaito. That's the entire goal of this training. Is you can master this, you can master any Jutsu. Theoretically of course.
He throws six kunai knives out our feet.
Reo- Use this to mark up the tree. When you've gone as high as you can, mark it. Then try to beat after that then so on and so forth. You're gonna need a running start. Ready?
I pick up the kunai in front of me.
Itsuki *mind*- Ok. I need to draw chakra into my feet. It can't be too weak or else I'll just fall off. It can't be too strong either or I'll just smash the tree. It needs to be balanced.
I do a hand sign and I begin to feel chakra charge into my feet.
Itsuki- Ok here goes.
All six of us run at our individual tall trees. As soon as I get to mine, I begin to run up it.
Itsuki *mind*- Halfway there.
I managed to reach a high branch and I make it to it.
Itsuki- Done.
Sakura- Hey this is fun.
Akari- I've made it as well.
Kaito- Aw come on guys! No fair! I only made it halfway up!
Reo- Well, it looks we have our elite three. You guys have the most chakra control. Well done Itsuki, Akari, and Sakura.
Naruto- Yeah good job Itsuki and Sakura. I always knew you guys were awesome. Believe it.
Reo- Not can they control chakra, they can maintain it as well. We spoke about someone becoming Hokage one day didn't we? Seems like Itsuki, Sakura, and Akari have the best chance at that, wouldn't you say Naruto? And as for the great Uchiha clan, well maybe only one Uchiha will bring back the entire the entire clan, Sasuke. As for the swordsman, I'd say you have no chance at becoming legendary if you can't even control your chakra, kaito.
Sakura- Shut up sensei! You talk too much!
Kaito, Naruto, and Sasuke all look at each other like rivals.
Itsuki *mind*- I guess they're motivated now. Naruto, Sasuke, and Kaito have far more chakra than Sakura and they're on par with Akari and myself. If this works, they're master of chakra will be a big help in the future.
Naruto- Alright. First I'm gonna beat Sasuke and match Kaito, then I'm gonna go all the way to the top. Believe it!
Timeskip
Reo (POV)
All six of them kept on with the training. Itsuki keeps getting higher and higher up the tree. Akari is close behind him. It seems like everyone is making progress especially Naruto.
Reo *mind*- He's starting to ask questions. Good. He's catching on. He has more chakra than Sasuke. In fact, he has more chakra than myself and kakashi. (Looks towards Itsuki as he does a triple backflip off his tree and lands on the ground) As for Itsuki, he's really good but, I sense something odd about him. Like there's some inner darkness hibernating in him. Gotta keep my eye on him.
