Itsuki (POV)
The crowd was going absolutely ballistic with the cheering and applause as the proctor called my name as the winner signaling perhaps the best Chunin finals match to a close. I picked up Akari bridal style as she wrapped her arms around my neck. I was about to walk when Sasuke, Kakashi, Naruto, Shikamaru, and Kaito came down.
Naruto- What in the world was that?! That was the best match I've ever seen!!
Shikamaru- It wasn't a drag for once.
Sasuke- I have to admit, that was a good match.
Kaito- I'm so proud of both you guys!
Kakashi- Well done you two. Very impressive.
AI- Thanks you guys.
Itsuki- So Sasuke, your match is next I presume?
Sasuke- Yeah.
We both look up to the balcony to see Gaara staring down at the both of us.

Naruto- Just make sure you don't lose to this guy Sasuke.
Itsuki- Yeah, kick his ass good for me will ya?
Sasuke- Got it.
Naruto- Hey Sasuke, don't lose cause I wanna fight you myself.
Sasuke- Yeah. Got it.
Proctor- All right Gaara, get down here so we can start the next match.
Shikamaru- Come on guys. They don't need us here. Let's go and I'm gonna take the stairs this time if you don't mind.
Naruto- Come on! You're still upset about me giving you a little push? You should be grateful.
I look down at Akari who looks at me.
Itsuki- I guess we should get going huh?
Akari- Yeah I guess so.
Itsuki- You don't have to worry. I'll go slow going up the stairs so that you don't get even more hurt.
Akari- Well aren't you the sweet one.
Itsuki- (smiling) Well you know me haha.
We leave for the stairs leaving Kakashi and Sasuke. A minute or two later, we're going up another flight of stairs.
Naruto- Come on. Hurry up.
Shikamaru- Relax Naruto. You're gonna give yourself an ulcer.
Kaito- Yeah dude. Just chill.
Suddenly Naruto stops and looks at something.
Shikamaru- What is it?
We stop and all look at what Naruto is seeing.
We see Gaara walking down the hallway towards us as well as two other ninja leaned up against the walls. They stop Gaara and say something to him. Gaara gets this crazed look and his sand comes out from his gourd.
Akari- Oh no.
The lights lighting up the hallway break and the hallway goes dark. We hear screams and the sicking crunch of bones. Out of the darkness comes one of the ninja screaming until the sand gets him by the feet making him fall. He gets dragged back into the darkness as he claws and screams in futile attempt to escape. Another sound of bones crushing and then everything goes dead silent. We all stand there mouths agape as we feel fear. Then the sound of footsteps coming our way break the silence. As he steps out of the hallway, Akari grips me tighter. We don't make a sound and just stare straight forward as Gaara rounds the corner to walk down the steps. He passes us and continues to walk down the steps but before he goes down the next set of stairs, he looks at me.

My fear was instantly replaced with anger as we stared each other down.
Itsuki- I don't about you but I can't wait to kick your ass.
He just smirks and continues walking down the steps.
Shikamaru and Naruto collapse on the stairs.
Shikamaru- If we'd come up the stairs just a second earlier, that would've been us just now.
Kaito- He's a monster. I have never in my life seen anyone kill like that without even batting an eye.
Kaito- Things don't look so good for Sasuke at all and he might be problematic for you Itsuki.
In the stands with Kakashi, Guy, Lee, Gin and a few others
Reo (POV)
Reo- Sorry I'm kinda late fellas. I took the liberty of watching my kids match from somewhere else.
Guy- Reo.
Kakashi- Hey.
Gin- Good to see you again Reo.
I shake his hand and get ready to watch the match between Sasuke and Gaara. I take a look around to scout out the place.
Reo- 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8. There's eight of them. Eight Anbu Black Ops in a arena this large?
Gin- That's not even close to being enough. What could Sarutobi be thinking?
Guy- Well, not knowing how the enemy's gonna act, the Anbu Black Ops have probably been disbursed and stationed around the key parts of the village.
Gin- It's starting but we can't afford to let our guards down.
Ren- For now at least, we need to watch this match. It could get hairy very quickly.
