Itsuki (POV)

As I deal with the bird, Naruto is fighting off the girl Pain.

Pain (Tendo)- You both are really beginning to slow down. It seems that your Sage jutsu and your Leo Maharishi jutsu are starting to wane. Did you use up your jutsu with that last move of yours?

Itsuki *mind*- This form of mind isn't going to last much longer and I feel Naruto is in the same boat. We gotta take out at least one of the Pains before our forms tap out.

Ma- (in the air) Sage Art Wind Style: Sand Dust!

The area gets covered in swirling dust clouds.

Itsuki(SLF)- Hey what gives?! I can't see shit!

A moment later, piercing through the dust around is a giant gaping toad mouth.

Itsuki(SLF)- Ahhh what the hell?!!!

The mouth closes around me and surrounds me in darkness. My eyes adjust and I see I'm in here with Naruto and the girl Pain. She scans the place but the look of confusion comes across her face.

Itsuki *mind*- She can't see. And she's here all alone. The Rinnegan link is severed which means-

Naruto and I exchange looks and nod. I take off first and swift knee to the girl Pain's jaw and take off. Naruto follows the same hit and run tactic as I to effectively deal damage while throwing her off her game. After a few more hit and runs, I position myself behind her while Naruto and a clone of his stand in front. Rasengans form in both Naruto and the clones hands. A spark of crimson lightning and Crimson Chidori produces in my right hand.

Naruto- Rasengan Barrage!

Itsuki- Crimson Chidori!

Rasengan from the front and Chidori from the back connect with the girl Pain at the same time. The combined attack causes a small explosion but it was enough to take her down. The mouth opens and all three of us slide out on the tongue. I turn around to see it was Gamabunta who basically ate me.

Itsuki (SLF)- Next time warn a brotha before you decide to eat him. That's twice I've been eaten alive.

Before I can rant any longer, my Sacred Lion Form wears off and I revert back to normal. Naruto's Sage Mode wears off as well as we confront the remaining Pains.

Pain (Tendo)- You both have exhausted your jutsu.

Walter (POV)

We look on as both boys are breathing heavily from using their newfound jutsu.

Ma- Pa Naruto boy is no longer in Sage Mode so he's vulnerable right now.

Pa- Yes yes I'm aware of that.

Rosalie- And it seems the Sacred Lion Form for Itsuki has run its course. We're gonna have to merge with him Walter.

Walter- Except we can't and neither can Ma and Pa with Naruto. You know it's because of the beasts within them.

Ma- What you mean we can't merge with him because of that Nine Tails inside of him?

Pa- Well it certainly seems that way.

Ma- Then what are we going to do?

Walter- Trust in the boys. They've got a solution for this very problem.

Itsuki (POV)

The original Pain takes off making a beeline for Naruto and I. We both take off running away from Pain as Naruto unhooks the big scroll he's been carrying on his back. Tyrian and Gamabunta come in for the save to deter Pain from following us. Naruto and I continue to run as I nip my thumb and smack the ground.

Itsuki- Summoning Jutsu!

A big scroll of my own comes out in a poof of smoke. I take it but in that time, Pain had used both Tyrian and Gamabunta as springboards to leap over to us and cut Naruto and I off.

Itsuki- You're like an annoying ex. Can't seem to get rid of you and never leaving us alone

Walter- (comes in with Pa) Over here Naruto, Itsuki. Give the scrolls to us.

We throw our scrolls over to Walter and Pa as Pain closes the distance between us.

Itsuki- Come on! I've been waiting to stomp your ass out!

I step out in front, Sharingan out and ready to engage Pain. He jumps at me with a flying kick, I run and slide underneath him to avoid. He lands and is immediately back the offensive. I throw a back right kick to which he narrowly stops in his tracks and leans back to avoid a sure knockout blow. That kick of my turns me around to face Pain and I throw a series of Lu Kang esque bicycle kicks to which he blocks but the kicks move him backwards due to the force.

I keep the pace going with rights and lefts but he keeps his forearms up. I quickly spin 360 to deliver a spinning back fist but he ducks it and dropkicks me right in my sternum. I sail back a bit but backflip into a stop. He rushes forward to throw a right. I knock it out of the way and bring my right fist down atop his head. He falls forward but gets in a headstand position and begins to spin while throwing multiple kicks at me.

I block the majority of them but take one right to the ribs and I hear a crack sound.

Itsuki *mind*- Yep there goes a rib or two.

He stops spinning and uses his arms to propel himself to me looking for another dropkick. I sidestep to the left and bring my right knee up as he's about to pass me in the air. I connect with his back and immediately drive a left punch downward to his face and drill him into the ground cratering in the ground a bit more with his body. I finish the combo with a downward corkscrew kick to the back of Pain's neck as he rolls over.

Itsuki- Shadow Clone Jutsu!

I spawn a shadow clone and it takes position to toss me up in the air as I back up a bit. Pain begins to stir as I take off running to my clone. He throws me up in the air as Storm chakra collects at the bottom of my feet.

Itsuki- Storm Style: King's Landing!

At the very last second, Pain rolls out of the way as I double stomp the spot he was just in a crater in the ground even further.

Pain flees in the direction of Naruto and I give chase.

Itsuki- Don't you run from me! Get your ass back over here! I'm not through with you!

Walter (POV)

Pa and myself unfurl our respective student's scrolls.

Pa- Now let's do this boys.

WP- Reverse Summoning Jutsu!

A clone of each boy in their still meditation gets summoned.

Walter- They've been summoned! Now you can release the Jutsu!

Itsuki (POV)

I begin to pick up speed as my body morph back into my Sacred Lion Form. Naruto enters Sage Mode as Pain brandishes one of his rods looking to stab Naruto. Naruto shatters the rod surprising Pain in the process. Naruto puts Pain on the defensive as he does his best to cover up while taking Naruto's strikes. Pain doesn't see me finally catch up and I enter his blind spot. He notices me too late as I deck him right in the face with a right hook and he goes sailing.

Itsuki (SLF)- Do it.

Naruto creates his Rasenshuriken again and launches it at Pain.

Naruto (Sage Mode)- It's over. You're mine!

Just as it was about to hit Pain, the Pain that absorbs ninjutsu gets in the line of fire and absorbs the Rasenshuriken, saving the original Pain in the process.

Itsuki (SLF)- Jesus Christ. They're like roaches I tell ya. You can never get rid them no matter how many times you step on them or use Raid.

Naruto (SM)- That's right. That's that one's ability. He can absorb any ninjutsu. But I thought we already took care of him.

Itsuki (SLF)- We did but take a look at that.

Naruto (SM)- What is that?

Katsuyu- (crawls on Naruto's shoulder) That Pain is the key player in all of this.

Naruto (SM)- The one Gezzer Sage spoke of right? So he's the one who can bring the dead back to life?

Katsuyu- Yes. He's the one with that ability. That's why when they lined up in formation, that particular Pain took the rear most position. The most bothersome one is the original. He can repel all jutsu and attacks and pull things towards him as well. He hasn't shown his power yet which is odd. Perhaps for some reason, he's unable to use his ability now.

Itsuki (SLF)- Well whatever the case, there's three of them now. We gotta get rid of the one in the back first. Close the distance and get in close

Naruto and his two clones create Rasengans and pull out smoke bombs. In the smoke one of the clones uses transformation jutsu to turn them into a fake Rasenshuriken. Naruto throws it out of the smoke whereas I use Animalia chakra to launch myself into the air. The Pain that absorbs ninjutsu tries to absorb the Rasenshuriken but the clone undoes the transformation and tackles the Pain

Pain (Tendo)- Tricky bastard.

A second Rasenshuriken comes for the original Pain but it gets dispelled

Pain (Tendo)- It seems my power has finally returned.

But what he doesn't see is me coming down from behind with the resurrection Pain in my sights.

Itsuki (SLF)- Double Crimson Chidori!

I land right on top of the resurrection Pain and get him with the double Crimson Chidori and crush him with my weight for insurance.

Pain (Tendo)- What?!

Itsuki (SLF)- Another down. Two more to go. Looks like you're sweating a bit Pain. What's the matter?

Pain's eyes widen as he turns around to see the real Naruto closing in fast.

Itsuki *mind*- Shit!

I get up and rush to Pain quickly as I can to meet Naruto in this pincer attack while the other Naruto clone finishes off the absorbing Pain.

Pain (Tendo)- (raises his arms) Almighty Push!

All of us go sailing in opposite directions as we take that jutsu head on. My body bounces and tumbles around on the ground until I finally come to a stop.

Itsuki *mind*- Great so his power is back now. Just perfect. And what a good power he has. Definitely packs a punch I'll tell you what. Damn it. We had him too. You know it's not that easy coming up with plans like that on the fly. No matter how you look at it though , this battle just became a lot more complicated.

Indigo: And that's the end of this one. Hopefully you guys enjoyed it. Almost had to completely start over from scratch on this chapter as one of the gifs I was gonna use got flagged even though I've used it before (Thanks Wattpad) Wattpad would crash whenever I tried to take it out. Thankfully I just came up with the solution of copying everything except the gif, deleting the draft, starting a new one and pasting the copy. No wasted effort thank god. Anyway, that's all for now.
