(Remi's point of view)

"Y-You what! Why would you do that mother, Obi has been nothing but kind to all of us!" I yelled, wondering why she would have "done some digging" on Obi of all people!

"That's not the news dear, we found something." My father spoke and I became even more confused. What could they possibly have found on Obi?

"Dear you remember the assassination attempt on our family? That was Obi and his partner Red, the two were hired by another noble. He might only be with you to finish the job." My mother spoke carefully, almost as if this information was going to break me.

"No! I don't believe you! Obi would do anything like that now, I don't know about the past but I can't change that. But Obi, he wouldn't ever hurt me now!" I yelled at my parents before I stormed into our backyard and to the stables.

A little while after I gave Mirayuki one of our foals another one was born. A beautiful female Palomino, which my parents had planned on selling. But what they didn't know was that I had snuck into the auction at the time. I pooled all the money I had saved over the years and won her. I decided to name her Rino and well she was basically my best friend after Mira left.

"Rino, lets go see Obi Kay?" I asked the horse and she bobbed her head in reply. I quickly jumped on, I enjoyed riding bareback better anyway.

"Sissy! Let me come to!"

"Shizu! Remi! Get back here this instant! This wasn't the only news, we got a marriage proposal for you Remi. Your engaged now!" My vision blurred red as he screamed those words at me. I looked at my father with nothing but hatred before galloping towards Shizu. I scooped her up into my arms and allowed her to sit in front of me as we took of.

I held onto her tightly as we jumped over the fence effortlessly. Rino was like Anri in many ways, they both would talk to you by shaking their head no or yes. But while Anri has an unbelievable memory, Rino has an unbelievable nose. So I knew she would take me to Obi.

As we rode my thoughts were raging and my ears were ringing. 'Marriage! They know I'm dating Obi! I love Obi! There is no way I am marrying some noble prick. I have to talk to him... We can figure his out together.'

"Sissy? We stopped." Shizu tugged on my sleeve gently and I came out of my thoughts. I glanced up to see we Obi looking at us with a confused face.

"Remi? Shizu? What's wrong?"

"Come on down dear, she ran away." I called up the stairs as three bodies emerged from the stairs. My eldest daughter Rene and her husband came down first. Then followed Remi's husband-to-be...

"Oh mother I can't believe my little sister would run away from such an opportunity! I mean think about what she's doing, she could be a queen! Just like I am. You two have put so much on the line for us and yourselves so we could become queens. Three daughters each to be betrothed to a Kingdom's first born heir?" Rene replied and became distraught, she was married to the Soon-to-be King of Erabethia, Ephraim. Shizu is going to wed the prince of Afarul, Jakob, a boy 7 years older than her. But Remi's betrothed would be the one and only Raji, Prince of Tanburn.

"Raji, you must be distraught, your betrothed ran away to talk to a killer whom she calls her boyfriend." Rene asked him and he shrugged.

"It's not as though she can get out of this, so she may do whatever she wishes until we wed. But I do intend on treating her how I see fit.
