This is just an excerpt of what's to come, since I'm on a pretty long hiatus for this story for now. That and I have plenty other projects in mind. But enjoy this little excerpt: Warning, Spoilers for Avatar: The Way of Water for those that didn't watch the movie either in theaters or on Disney!

I stand across from Rook and the Metkayina woman, as he sighs and turns to me.

"Walk with me, Wolf," he says. I blink my eyes and follow him. What shocks me is what he ends up telling me.

"I'm gonna tell Rëla about the Amrita, since the RDA are pretty damn desperate to get their hands on it." He folds his arms across his chest. I blink rapidly.

"Is that a wise choice, Rook?" I ask him. He nods.

"Yes," he says. "The RDA are harvesting it from the Tulkun, and I'm somewhat the cause of it since they never told me about it when I signed up for Project Chimera." I shake my head.

"Rook....." he cuts me off.

"Save it, Wolf, I don't need your fucking pity."

*cuts to next scene.*

Rook stands in front of Rëla. The Metkayina Na'vi free-diver blinks her eyes at him.

"What is it, Rook?" She asks him. "What's the matter?" He sighs, wringing his hands together.

"I have something to tell you," he says. "Remember when I told you about Project Chimera?" Rëla nods her head. Rook sighs before lifting his head.

"There was a strand of it, called the Alpha strand that was given to me by order of the President and basically Uncle Sam himself. What I didn't know was that I had been given Amrita which comes from the very Tulkuns that the RDA is hellbent on getting their fucking hands on. I'm sorry I didn't tell you before..." tears fill his eyes but then he feels Rëla's arms wrap around him, and his heart races.

"I See You, Rook," she whispers. "The Amrita made you live, despite the fact that you can no longer age." Rook pulls away from the much taller Na'vi woman and glances at her.

"Aiden." He says. She blinks her green eyes at him.

"What?" He looks to her.

"My real name. It's Aiden."

*scene cuts.*

On the SeaDragon, everyone's fighting. Rook lands on the ship, followed by myself, Alex, Jake and Neytiri. Artut and Tuk are free of their bonds, but what we didn't expect was to see Quaritch holding both Kiri and Seina by their braids.

"Let them go, Quaritch," Rook hisses. "Now." Quaritch glares at the other man with a snarl.

"You really thought you could save them, huh, Jake? Siera?" I growl at him.

"Yah sick son of a bitch!" I yell, but before I can step closer, Quaritch's knife comes up quickly, making Seina cry out.

"Mama!" She cries out, and my heart stings. Quaritch snarls. "Weapons down!"

"No," Rook says calmly, too calmly. "You killed my niece, Colonel. I will gladly rip out your entire spine and feed on the bones for dinner. Walk. The. Fuck. Away." I turn my head to see Neytiri grab Spider, and aim her blade at his throat. Rook turns to her.

"Let the kid go," he hisses at her. "He's not a part of this, Neytiri." Neytiri hisses.

"All Sky People are the same," she hisses, then turns her eyes back to Quaritch. "A son for a son." I watch in horror as she cuts Spider's chest with her blade. As the sixteen year old cries out in pain, I hiss from my spot.

"Last chance, Col.," I hiss. "Last fucking chance." Rook then screams out,

"Col.! Let her go, now, or I swear by Uncle Sam himself, I will shoot you! And trust me, I won't fucking miss." Quaritch let's put the most sadistic laugh then. A laugh that I know all too well back when I was still human.

"You have no idea what I've done to her," he says. "I thought she'd be more scarred." I hiss.

"Yah lost yer chance, Col.," I hiss. "Now my firstborn is dead because of you!!"

"I'm not gonna say it again, you sick twisted son of a bitch motherfucker. Let. Them. Go." The last thing I hear in that exact moment is a gunshot.
