Arjun.

I moved her back to bed the third time and watched her in wonder, I had even dressed her up in my shirt and covered her in my thick, woollen double layer blanket to keep her warm.

I turned to my files again, It was already 4:30 in the morning and I know that I can't go back to sleep, So I just sit there at the edge of the bed and went through my files while keeping watch of her from time to time.

I closed the file, put it back on the desk and turned to her in surprise, She was already coming back to my side in her sleep.

She was becoming restless and I realised that she's coming back to her senses.

I layed down beside her and watched her face.

I almost lost you today...

I still can't believe that I managed to get her back.

I lifted my left hand and caressed her smooth shiny long hair. Both of us were lying side by side, facing each other, She was still in a deep sleep.

I put my palm on top of her hand and looked at her face.

I know it's not over yet, She might even kill me for everything I have done..But nothing could bring down the joy of me having her back.

She was dressed in my shirt and looked so beautiful.

She will kill me if she wakes up now..But that's better, she cant run away in this dress without even stopping to listen to me.

I moved closer to her and kissed her gently on her lips, Then raised up.

I never knew that I could love someone like this, I am so glad that I met her or I would have been in the cold shell forever, Only focusing on destroying the Surya group.

It still amaze me that she managed to-

I stopped as she moved closer again, And I couldn't bring myself to move her back again. I touched her face and she snuggled closer.

I waited for her to settle down, but she looked restless, trying to settle down and I put my hands around her, Trying to support her head to my shoulder, But she just reached my chest and settled there.

When I tried to move, She just placed her hand around me in protest, So I covered her in the blanket again.

She looked comfortable and went back to sleep again.

I took her mobile phone from the bedside and switched it on and dialled.

"Trisha!" Karthik said as soon as he picked up, His voice full of hope.

"I am Arjun" I said easily.

There was a moment's silence at the other end.

"Where's she?" His next question came. "If anything happens to her-"

"Calm down karthik, She's safe with me" I said and looked down at her sleeping face and touched her hair unknowingly.

"Don't sound so..confident, Arjun surya narayan, We have your most trusted man with us here" Karthik said.

"I knew that you will come after me" I said. "Did you hurt him?" I asked about karan.

"We haven't done anything to him...yet" Karthik said. "But it looks like you sounds so calm and carefree about this matter-"

"Because sanjana is with me, I know you won't compromise her safety" I said again. "And let me tell you, I am not going to hurt her-"

"Then put her on phone" Karthik demanded. "I want to speak to her this instant!" He added.

"That's not possible, karthik" I said firmly "She's sleeping"

"Sleeping!?" Karthik sounded confused.

"Yea, I told you that she's safe now, Your dad suresh kumar is the one who is in danger now" I said. "before deciding what to do with karan, Stop your dad first"

I deliberately said the name so that he will take me seriously.

"How..how did you know!?" Karthik asked in shock. "that my dad is Suresh kumar?" he asked me. "Trisha will never tell you that, How did you find out?" He asked, His voice shook slightly.

"Does it matter? If-"

"I AM ASKING YOU!" karthik shouted at the other end. "HOW THE HELL DID YOU KNOW ABOUT MY IDENTITY!?"

"What do you take me as, Karthik? Did you think that I couldn't recognise a police officer's gun?" I asked. "Karthik, I know all about you" I told him .

Karthik.

Everyone looked tensed around me as I shouted at him.

For the first time in my life, I felt like meeting someone so powerful.

It was rare for me to get this feeling of superiority from anyone, But Arjun send me all the warning signs.

"Karthik" Arjun said in the same calm voice, Not at all bothered my shouts. "If you are still doubting me, I will tell you" He said. "You are a special task officer, If you really wants to save your dad, Cancel the dinner plan with the DIB, Otherwise, just like Varsha, Aditya ,Aditi and shahid, You will lose your family too-"

"Who..who are you!?" I whispered now.

"We will talk" He said. "But before that, You need to somehow cancel your dad's plans today, He really is walking to a trap" He said. "And I promise you that sanju is really safe with me, Once you take care of the matter today, We can talk face to face, You can meet sanjana too" I said.

I noticed that he kept telling "Sanjana" instead of "Trishana".

"I will trust you to resolve this, Karthik, I will see you soon" He disconnected the call again.

I started to dial back, But Trisha's phone was switched off again.

"Shit!" I cursed.

"What's Wrong?" Varsha asked.

"According to Arjun, Our plan today is a trap, we need to inform my dad" I said.

"If trisha cannot turn up for the meeting, it will be automatically cancelled" Aditya said.

"I cant talk to my dad about this as he doesnt know I am working with trisha" I said.

"Calm down" Aditya said. "We can make nitin call him and cancel the meeting, So there's no need for you to get involved" He said.

"And go and visit him today, Karthik, Just stay with your parents" Shahid said.

"But how can I leave here without getting Trisha back?" I asked. "We don't know if we can trust Arjun or not"

"All the informations he said was true, He was right then, If he wanted to destroy us, He could have done it before, but he didnt" Aditi said.

"According to shweta, He a cunning lawyer, What if it's another trap for us?Besides, My dad is very tough, He won't fall into trap so easily" I said proudly. "I Am very confident about it"

"What about cheating? Can he get trapped in cheating?" Aditya asked me and I looked at him in shock, I realised he's talking about himself.

"Okay" I said. "We will tell nitin to call him and ask him to cancel the meeting today" I said. "And I will go and visit them today"

"So what about trisha? What are we going to do?" Aditi asked.

"Since she's with Arjun, We better not provoke him" Shahid said slowly.

"Besides, That housekeeper said Arjun was trying to rescue her from a officer, So let's assume that he succeeded in that now"

"Which means Arjun is seriously interested in Trisha?" Varsha asked. "Oh God! I really hope so, She will be safe at least"

"Let's just think that she's safe for now" I said. "next time he call us, We will ask for trisha"

Arjun.

The sound of phone ringing brought me back to my senses.

I don't know how long I have been sleeping now.

Everything that happened for the last 24 hours flashed through my mind and I looked down at sanju, Who was still sleeping with me, Her head still resting against my chest.

"Hello?" I attended Shyam's call.

"Arjun, It's me, Did you talk to her?" He asked me.

I looked at the watch, it was 8 in the morning.

"Um..no" I looked down at her. "She's still sleeping"

"When should I come?" He asked.

"I will call you" I disconnected the call.

It's time to face the problems.

I looked at her peaceful relaxed face, I couldn't bring myself to wake her up, But I know that I have no choice now.

The sooner the better.

"Sanju.." I said slowly. "sanju..wake up" I shook her gently.

"Mm.." She looked bothered to be disturbed and tightened her grip on my tshirt.

I stilled when I felt her moving closer.

I know that I can call her after moving her back to bed, But I don't want to make her confused and frustrated, This way, I will explain everything in a stretch.

"Sanju" I shook her slightly "get up, It's time.." I shook her again.

Trisha.

I slowly opened my eyes and blinked.

I was staring straight to the deep dark eyes.

I was confused and disoriented at first, My mind was working too slowly.

Didn't he kill me?

I looked up at his face again.

Arjun surya narayan!

A shiver down me as I looked at him for a moment.

"Are you awake, Sanju?" He asked me gently and I realised that half of me was on top of him and I withdraw my hands in shock, Then tried to move.

My body protested at the sudden movements but I struggled to get up.

What's happening?

Why am I here?

I looked at Arjun, Who was still watching me.

How..how come I end up with him?

My mind started reel and I looked down at my dress.

My eyes widened as I realised that I'm wearing Arjun's shirt and nothing else.

I panicked as I looked around again. The surrounding gave me no doubt.

Arjun brought me to some luxurious hotel!

I watched the luxurious suite room and confirmed.

How come I end up here?..I am..No!..I am sleeping with Arjun!

"Sanjana, You are okay now" Arjun said in relief and Everything started come back to me.

Arjun!

I'm still with Arjun..I haven't escaped, I am still trapped!

He was sitting up on the bed and I looked at him. He was wearing a loose fitting Armani t shirt and I realised that I have never seen him in this style.

We slept together!

"You...what have you..done to me?" I whispered, I remembered that I was just on top of him.

I looked down at me again, My mind calculating.

Arjun.

She looked shaken to find herself in this state.

When she looked up, Along with the unshed tears, Anger was there.

"Sanju, Yesterday-"

"Don't!" She said in a tone that said she can't even bear to hear it, She started to move back from me.

The moment she stepped down the bed at the other side, her face turned shocked.

My shirt on her was only coming up to her mid thigh, The first two buttons on the shirt was open and she grabbed it with her hands and pressed it together, looking shocked.

Her eyes were filling and flowing down all the time.

"Sanju, relax, I didn't take advantage of you, yesterday-"

"No.." She cried and I walked to her.

"Listen to me, sanju" I said and she moved back from me.

I dunno what I should tell her now.

I want to tell her that I haven't done anything to her, But I did marry her last night.

I want to tell her that I haven't touched her, But I did touch her too, Even though it was not in the sense she's imagining..

"Nothing happened between us like you are imagining" I said fimly now, Looking in her eyes.

She stared into my eyes for a moment, She moved her eyes away, looking uncomfortable.

"Who..who changed me..?" She asked.

"It's me" I said and her eyes filled and started to flow down again.

I really wanted to take her in to my hands and console her, But I think it will do more damage in the current situation we are in.

"There was a reason for me to-"

"No..I don't want to hear anything!" She shouted. "Stay away from me"

"Sanjana!" I too was not very patient. "Hear me out this time, Do you remember running away from me and getting caught by Thomas mathew? Do you know where they left you? In the ice factory! They locked you in the ice factory to kill you!" I said. "when I reached you...you..you were frozen, I..I was scared..I was out of my mind! I couldn't just let you die sanju, I changed you and I..I warmed you up, tell me, What else was I supposed to do in that situation!?" I stopped.

Sanju was still frozen, Looking stunned at my words.

"Then you should have let me die.." She whispered and my heart give a painful jab at that. "Why did you bring me back, You should have let me die there!" She shouted at me.

"Sanju please.." My voice shook as I stared at her. "How can I do that?..You know it, I..I love you-"

"YOU LIAR!" she screamed. "You cheat-"

""Sanju-"

"DON'T YOU CALL ME THAT..I. TRISHANA..NOT SANJANA" she shouted again. "And you knew it all this time!"

She was trembling head to foot and I took a step closer and took her hand-

"DON'T TOUCH ME.." she shook away my hands. "You cheated me! You were playing me all this time!" She shouted again.

I lost it then.

"WHO CHEATED WHOM? SANJANA?" I have lost my patience now. "WHO WANTED TO ACT LOVE?..WHO APPROACHED ME FIRST..YOU DID..NOT ME.." I too shouted back.

"You knew me, You were making a fool of myself, You acted as if you were in love with me!" She said.

I took her hand and pulled her to me, She looked startled as I bend down to her.

"No!" She shouted. "Arjun I will kill you if you touch-" Her words broke as I kissed her, Her fights stilled as I imprisoned her.

She was soft against me, Soft and warm.

Her heart was hammering against me, Her scent was tempting me to do more.

But I just poured all of my feelings to the kiss, Letting her know how much she means to me, How much I was scared because of her and how difficult it will be for her to escape from me.

She's mine..She belongs to me..

And I just proved that to her, That she have no way out now, That she's already a part of me.

She had stopped fighting me off and I loosened my grip slightly.

My uncontrollable burning anger started to melt.

She was all weak and powerless inside my hands and I kissed her one last time and hugged her tightly.

"You hear this clearly, Sanjana, I won't repeat this" I said. "I was not acting love, I really am in love with you," I said.

I could feel her body stiffening slightly.

I pulled her to my hand's distance and looked at her face. "I need you, Sanju, I am not planning to let go of you" I said sternly.

"Because you made me fall in love with you, I didn't plan to start anything, But you approached me, You got close to me, So take responsibility for what you have done, I am not going to back down, Sanjana," I said.

"I am Trishana-" she started.

"I know trishana" I said. "I followed her and I was interested in her, I didn't want her to get hurt, But it was sanjana who turned that interest to love, That's you" I said and hugged her again.

"And it is because I love you that I interfered in your things, It's because of that I saved you from the ice factory, And it's the same reason the I touched you and hugged you even if you hates me, Sanju"

Trishana.

I was stunned.

I knew what he was telling me is the truth, But I couldn't accept that truth.

He was still hugging me, Tightly, I couldn't even move out of his hands.

But I know that I need to get back to the reality.

So what if Arjun truly loves me?

So what if I am attracted to him?

Ours is an ill fated relationship, We can never be together.

I tried to push him off me.

"Dont..touch me" I said as I pushed him again. "All of you.. killed my daddy.." I said.

"You..all killed people-"

"No! I didn't kill your daddy, it was Abiram..And it was Mahesh who killed varsha's father, I am not involved in their deaths, I didn't know until it was done, And I was not even here at surya group when that happened to your dad-"

"What if you were here? would you have saved him?" I asked venomously.

"Yes, I would have saved them" He said and I was surprised at the confidence in his voice.

"Sanju, You never gave me a chance to explain" He said. "Everything-"

"No, I don't want your explanation, Arjun, I don't trust you anymore, I hate you all, I hate surya group, From this day onwards, I won't ever appear in front of you-"

"That's not possible, Sanjana" He said firmly. "I don't care if you hate me or curse me, I want you to be safe-"

"Mind your own damn business, Arjun suryanarayan, I am not one of those puppets you can control-"

"I'm minding my own business, Sanjana, You are my wife!"

"What nonsense are you talking about-"

"Look down your hand, Sanjana, I already gave you my ring" I said and She raised up her finger in shock.

"No..impossible!"

I grabbed her hand and pulled her with me and brought her in front of the mirror.

Her eyes widened and she automatically raised her hand to touch her forehead where the red color was still there.

Her eyes started to fill and flow down.

"I wanted to rescue you, I didn't have any other way, I had to-"

"You had to!?" She turned to me in anger. "What did you think of me!?" She said in fury. "I hate you, Arjun, I hate everyone who's from surya group, The only reason i'm alive is to destroy you, I will never accept this, I will get my revenge, I will..." She stopped as her eyes reached her bag in the sofa.

Before I could stop her, She ran to the side and pulled out the gun.

She turned to me, Determined, I was startled to see her expression.

She raised up the gun and pointed at me.

"I will kill you..It..it was my mistake that I couldn't..shoot you, You..you are the one who is..helping..surya group to get away with their crime, You are..You need to die.." She said, Sounding like she's talking to herself, As if trying to convince herself to shoot me.

I took the steps down and reached near her.

"Sanjana-"

"I Am not Sanjana.." she whispered, the gun was still aimed.

I took another step forward. "Did you want to kill me?" I asked. "Is that why you approached me? Is that why you Acted as if you were in love with me? Is that why you got close to me?" I was near her now. "Did you plan to kill me all along?"

"Don't come near....I will shoot"

"Look me in the eyes and answer me first!" I didn't move back and took the last step.

The gun pressed on my chest, Just above the heart and I looked at her steadily.

"Shoot me then" I said. "If you want to kill me..If you never had any feelings for me and If you don't even want to give me a chance to explain everything, Shoot me" I said.

She stared at me, Her eyes were still filling and flowing down.

"SHOOT ME, SANJANA!" I shouted and she was startled.

She moved the gun down with shaking hands and took a step back.

"Why?" I was not ready to back down. "Sanjana, Why hesitating? Don't you want to kill me?" I started.

She looked at me again, Her face determined.

"If I want to trap you, I don't have to kill you, Arjun" She whispered and next second, She raised up the gun at her head.

My heart jumped. "sanju-"

"No, Don't move Arjun" She said. "Just know this one thing..I..I hate you" She whispered. "I hate you Arjun, But..I..can't hate you when..I see you, I..I can't bring myself to..hurt you And..that's the biggest sin I am doing to my parents..my friends..and ..Everyone who was victimised by you" Her eyes were still filled. "I don't deserve..to live, If my death can set everything right..and..bring..you down-"

"Sanju..dont do it" I said slowly. "please.." I begged.

But She closed her eyes and pressed the trigger.

Nothing happened.

I watched as she opened her eyes in shock, Her whole body was shaking, She looked at the gun and raised it back again, But it seems that she couldn't bring herself to shoot again.

It looks like the courage she had for the first time has all disappeared now.

I took the bullets from my pocket and stretched to her.

Did she really think I would leave a loaded gun with her again?

The gun was empty and I just wanted to let her know that she couldn't kill me.

But I never expected her to hurt me like this, I never expected that she would try to kill herself instead!

She looked tired suddenly, she slumped to the sofa for support, looking robotic, The gun fell down and I watched her.

"Shooting..me was better" I said slowly and took the seat opposite to her.

I'm really really mad at her for pulling this stunt, At the same time, I could totally understand her too.

She couldn't bring herself to kill me and she felt like she's betraying everyone who trusts her.

So the only solution was to kill herself and destroy me at the same time.

"I am not going to hurt you, So you can stay here comfortably" I said slowly, She was still sitting there, frozen, Still in shock.

I didn't want anything better than to hug her to me and console her.

But I know better.

So I suppressed the urge and forced myself to speak in the business tone.

"If you want to bring your friends here, You can, If you want to meet them outside, You can go out too, But you need to wait until the situation is clear, I will bring you to them myself, So you don't have to try to run away, Nor do you have to kill yourself" I said.

She was still sitting there as if she's in other world.

"I am not cheating you or, Trapping your friends, If i wanted to trap you, I could have told everyone in the surya group your true identity, They wouldn't have spared anyone if they knew that the true heirs of Dhyani hospital groups is still alive" I said. "And if they know karthik is an STO, They would have killed you long before" I said. "At Least, I could have informed them that shweta is helping you" I said and she looked at me in shock.

"Think..take your time and If you want to hear me out, I am ready to explain everything" I said.

Sanju didn't move.

The Sanju I have known wouldn't think twice about finding truth, She will never hesitate to question me, Nothing could stop her from following what she wanted.

But This time, She looked hurt and suffering, I could see the pain in her eyes and I blame myself for it.

If I had revealed everythinga little earlier, May be things would have been different.

For her to try to kill herself to trap me proves two things;

One-She can never let go of this hatred, She wanted to get revenge at all costs.

Two; She has feelings for me. She can neither kill me nor forgive me, So She's blaming herself for everything.

She still looked guarded and wary of me and I tightened my fist, Resisting the urge to take her to my hands and hug her tightly.

It's time to reveal everything...It's time that she knows everything.
