(Mirayuki's point of view)

I was finally better and was hanging out with some of my old friends who had moved here.

"Remi! Rodri! Todd! Wait up!" Zoe yelled at her friends, I've known them since they had been born. Well they are only 7 but still.

"Come on Zoe your the track star! You should be able to keep up!" Rodri yelled at his twin.

"Yeah but you guys got a mild head start!" Zoe yelled back and sped up some more.

I was in charge of keeping an eye on them while they raced around. Their parents seem to really trust me now since I had saved that girl, which I now know is named Marca. Her family's ancestors founded the town so she ended up getting named after the town. She's friends with all of Zoe and everyone. But she couldn't come today because of the incident that happened a couple days ago.

Anri and me galloped next to the group as Zoe finally caught up with them and then passed them just before the finish line. Zoe leaped into the air and cheered.

"No fair!" Todd yelled and stomped his foot on the ground.

"You guys had a mile lead on me! How is this not fair!" Zoe yelled back at him.

"It just is." He sat on the dirt rode and began to pout.

"Todd. It wasn't a fair race that you guys had, you guys cheated yet Zoe still won. The cheaters are always the ones who lose in the end so you've learned a very good lesson today. Now then the sun is setting so let's get you guys home."

"Can we ride your horse?" Remi asked shyly, she was the animal lover in the group. But I guess I could watch them easier if the were on Anri.

"Yeah come on everyone." I lifted Remi up first then Todd, then Zoe, and finally Rodri. Since they were all pretty small they were able to fit on Anri. So I took Anri's reigns and led her to our first stop.

Rodri and Zoe's parents were standing in the driveway of their ranch-style house. Their mother, Tommi Anna, was from a different kingdom which is why Zoe doesn't have a Japanese name. Their father, Roki, was half Russian and half Japanese.

"Thanks for watching them today while we went to our appointment." Tommi rubbed her enlarged stomach fondly. She was expecting another little girl, who was to be named Mira after me.

"I told you before it's an honor that you would trust them with me." I told her before saying goodnight.

We traveled a couple houses down until we arrived at Todd's house. Todd's parents were both from England, I have no idea how they ended up here.

Todd jumped off and walked into his house which was a 2 bedroom home. He has no siblings so it's just him and his parents. I'm sure he gets lonely sometimes since his father is always working and his mother is always working around the house.

Finally I stopped at Remi's home which was a small condo on the other side of town. Her two older brothers came out and thanked me for taking good care of their baby sister before taking her inside.

"Good bye Yuki!" The three yelled from their window.

"Bye you guys." I waved to them before heading to the inn we were staying in.

Once I finally arrived I was crushed into a hug, both Obi and Izana were hugging me.

"We were so worried about you being out so late!" They both screamed in my ears.

I muttered "Stupid boys."
