(Izana's point of view)

Its been days since Mira had been kidnapped by her uncle. We have no leads, no way to find her, no way to help her. Her father is doing everything that he can to rescue her but still with no luck. I can't believe that her uncle plans to marry her off to his adopted son. I haven't been able to sleep, I lie awake at night unable to rest. Even if I do fall asleep then nightmares plague my dreams.

"Izana open up! We have a lead!" I heard Shirayuki yell through the door, her voice was excited and relieved. I quickly got my regular clothes on and run out the door.

"What is it Shirayuki?" I asked her, trying to keep my emotions in check. After all I have a certain persona that everyone always sees me as.

"A invitation... to her wedding." She told me with not as much enthusiasm. She... was... marrying the twerp?

"I think its just a way to contact us. She would never marry someone like that." Obi appeared out of no where and stated. I could tell that he hadn't been sleeping much.

"Yes your probably right Obi." I responded with a smirk. Mira wouldn't just give up like that, we all know she has to much pride to do so.

"When is the wedding?" Zen appeared next to Shirayuki and wrapped an arm around her. A small smile appeared on their faces.

"Tomorrow." Her face dropped a bit as she handed me the letter. It was all the way in Garcon town, that's quite a bit away.

"Then we better head out now if we wish to go there." I told them and started on my way out of the hallway. Why we didn't speak in my room was beyond me.

"But Father isn't invited." Shirayuki explained with a sad expression. Zen wrapped his arm around her in an attempt to comfort her. I looked over and saw the look in Mukaze's eyes. He had known that he would have been invited. His brother hated him to much for that.

Flashback...

"I Know my daughter Izana... I know she will 'accept' the marriage so you will be able to find her. An invitation will arrive here at so point because Mira knew this was the last place we were when she was kidnapped. You will all be invited, but I won't." Mukaze told me like he was entrusting a large secret to me.

"So you want us to sneak you in?" I asked him and he shook his head. He let out a sigh and hung his  head down.

"No, I will not put her in anymore danger than she already is in. What I'm telling you is that I know how you feel about her. So though I'm not sure on her feelings... I know she looks at you differently than anyone else. But she also looks at Obi differently to." He explained to me as my thoughts raged in my head. 'Could Mira honestly love me!' I thought with glee. 'Great I sound like some hormonal teenager.' I mentally rolled my eyes at my own thoughts.

"Then you think..." I let myself trail off, not wanting to be hopeful.

"All I'm saying is to save my daughter and if she does choose you then never let her go." He began to walk away after that. Not waiting to hear my reply, because he already knew my answer.

'I will protect her.' I made a silent vow.

End of Flashback...
