My shoes splashed the water on the side walk. I had been walking with my newest friend.
"So how old are you?" I started a conversation.
"Oh um I'm 17 years old... Left my past life behind me and my future ahead." She replied.
"Oh I'm also 17..... I kinda just want to..... Never mind." I regretted.
"Oh ok well my parents got put behind bars for trying to shoplift food for my younger sister...... Stella." Lexi explained.
"Oh I'm sorry. My parents are on the other side sadly." I replied.
"Stop..." She demanded and I did stop.
"Down here hurry.." She added.
We walked down into a ally.
The DSA had walked past us.
"Run." She told me.
We heard water splash behind us.
"They found me." She mumbled to herself.
"You go and hold them back!" I told her.
"What NO?!!?" She didn't want too.
"Just do it I'll come back!" I demanded.
"I'm.... Fine." She gave in.
I stopped running and turned around. She still was running. They tackled me to the ground and grabbed their
walkie talkie we have her.
Later in a questioning room
"Why why number seven? Why...." My so called boss told me.
I laid my face on the table.
"Answer me!" He yelled at me.
