Annabeth's POV

Today is the day. Our birthday. The day we get crowned. The day we announce the new ruler. The day we take over the council. Today is the day that our lives change. Today we can't back out.

Colin and my mother tallied up the votes. They won't tell us who won yet. I'm nervous. I don't know if I can do this.

Tomorrow the two camps join as one. The nymphs who agreed are making sure everything is ready to open the shops.

We walk down to breakfast.

"Happy birthday!" All the gods cheer. "Are you ready for today?"

"NOPE!" We shout in unison. Everyone laughs.

"Well, come open your presents." Athena says.

Zeus gave us a storm in a jar. I honestly don't know why, but I thanked him anyways.

Poseidon gave everyone a water dispenser that adjusts the water to your liking. It comes with flavours.

Hades gave us each an upgraded communication bracelet. It now can reach the gods and the leaders of the camps.

Hera gave us each a set of coloured pencils. They come in every colour. I can use them for my architecture designs!

Demeter gave everyone a pillow that says 'You Rule!'.

Hestia gave each of us a miniature hearth. It warms you up if you touch it.

Athena gave everyone a never ending gift card to our favourite stores. I got one to Chapters.

Ares gave us each a pocket knife that turns into a weapon depending on which blade you choose.

Apollo gave us all a mini ball of sunlight. It lights up and heats your room.

Artemis gave us all a projector that projects constellations onto the ceiling.

Dionysus gave everyone a bottle of his best wine.

Hermes gave us more pranking supplies.

Aphrodite gave us magic brushes that style our hair.

Hephaestus gave us the newest range of Olympus Technology.

Hecate gave us a bracelet that serves as a portal to anywhere we want to go.

They told us all to go get dressed. The festivities start soon, and we need to be on schedule.

We decided that we're not dressing Ancient Greek style. I pulled on my ankle length grey dress. It swishes around my ankles. My hair is in its natural curls. I added my circlet, and I was done.

The boys are all wearing suits with ties in their godly parents' colour. The girls are wearing dresses in their godly parents' colours. Percy squeezed my hand. We've been dating for a while now. Jason and Piper are together, as are Frank and Hazel, Leo and Calypso, Clarisse and Chris, Nico and Will, Pearl and Colin, Jasper and Caster, Lara and Lana, Katie and a boy from the camp named Travis, Thalia, Zoë, Don, and Soleil don't want to date. We casually walked into the hall where they were hosting the festivities. Everyone bowed as we walked up to the front.

"Citizens of Olympus, today marks a turning point for Greek and Roman gods. Today is the day that the heirs form a council. They have decided to combine the Greek and Roman councils. They have decided to join the Greek and Roman demigods also. These young people have learned our ways, and they intend to change Olympus for the better. Please join me welcoming the new Olympians!" Zeus proclaimed. Their seats of power changed slightly and split into two seats. We took our places in the thrones. I felt like the throne was welcoming me.

"We also must announce the new ruler of Olympus. You all voted on your choice. Three quarters of the votes went to my sister, Annabeth!" Colin said. I beamed and started crying. Percy squeezed my hand again.

"Good job Wise Girl!" He screamed as the hall burst into cheers. I started crying. They were tears of happiness. I kissed Percy. Right on the lips. Cue more applause and a squeal from Aphrodite.

"Let the festivities continue!" I laughed. We all went down to party. We're not going to be stuffy gods who sit on thrones all day! I danced with Percy all day. We helped the campers move into Camp Olympus and Demigod City, as they decided. We ended up partying with them too. At one point, I pulled Reyna and Chiron to the side.

"These are for you guys. The bracelets allow you to contact us wherever you are. You can contact us all at once, or choose people. There are buzzers throughout the city and camp that allow other campers to contact us. We could also give bracelets to any other campers you deem fit. Just tell us when you get everything sorted out." Chiron and Reyna both nodded and bowed.

"You guys don't have to bow. We aren't like the other gods. See us as friends and partners!" They grinned and went to join the festivities. Day one has been a success.
