3rd Person View

The battle between Caym and Lucas was intense. Ozpin ordered the others to search for Y/N and leave them. But Velvet insisted that she will only be the one to find him whole the others.

Of course they didn't buy this but instead they let Cinder and Weiss go with her. The three of them run around searching for a bullhead but sadly not a single one in sight.

Weiss decided to contact him through his scroll, yet again no avail. They desperately keep finding a way to get to him until, they were stopped by Grimm blocking their way.

They prepared their weapons and run towards them to attack. Cinder summoned her swords and slice an Ursa. Weiss use her glyphs to speed towards a Beowolf and stab it with her rapier.

Velvet remain hidden since Coco told her not to use her semblance yet. The two of them continue to fight them as she follows, Weiss tried her glyphs to see if it will work to go to the collosseum. But sadly it can't.

"How are we able to get up there?" Velvet ask.

"We have to find another way." Cinder said.

They then run to a certain direction to find a way to get there. But suddenly they something falling from the place where they need to be.

In the collosseum, Y/N is there limping his way out. He is unable to use his semblance because of his aura all gone and his wounds are getting worse.

He summoned his wings and flap it. When he reach the top, his wings disappeared making him fall. He is getting weaker and weaker every second but it didn't stop him from making sure everyone is safe. He purposely let himself fall off the edge and to the air.

His eyes are close and he make sure the timing was perfect but suddenly he felt something touching him. He opened his eyes and it widen when she sees Velvet carrying.

"Vel..... vet?"

"Y/N you're bleeding! What happened?!" She panicked.

"I'm........ I'm fine."

"No you're not! You really need medical attention!"

She landed on her feet and place on the ground, he started to wince in pain everytime Velvet tries to touch his wounds.

Cinder and Weiss arrived and was shock to see his condition.

"We have to call the others quick!" Weiss said.

"No! Bring me..... Bring me to..... Lucas."

"Are you insane?! He would kill you in a second if you show up to him!"

"Please, trust me with this." He begged.

"I won't put you in such danger!" Cinder.

"But I'm already in it."

Silence, the three of them look at him as he looks back at them. Velvet helps him stand up and they started heading towards there.

"Velvet why are you doing this?" Weiss ask.

"I.... I trust him." She said.

"Hehehe......" He chuckled softly making her stop.

"Y/N?"

"I'm sorry for this........."

He then push Velvet away and summoned his wings and fly towards Lucas' location. Despite his wounds are hurting he continue to move forward.

He finally arrive there, Lucas was about to stab Caym with his crystal sword but he out of no where appeared in front of him took the attack instead.

Everyone's eyes widen. Velvet, Cinder and Weiss arrive and gasp at the scene.

His sword was directly strucked at his heart and pass through it. Lucas was surprised at this but soon he smirked. Blood comes out of his mouth and chest. Then, he muttered one word.

"Go..."

Ozpin heard this and ordered everyone to go. They denied at first but complied anyway. But Ruby stop and run back towards to where they are. Then she saw Caym laying on the ground and Y/N starting to fade until he's fully gone. Her emotions flowed inside of her.

Rage, sadness and fear. Soon enough, her eyes started glowing and then her silver eyes activated causing the place to go all white.

Lucas notice this and soon use his powers to let Caym get sucked by the crystal sword and fleed.

"Y/N!!"

Everything around her started to wash away then she became unconscious and Qrow immediately come to get her.

Ruby woke up from her bed to see her friends, team and family even Ozpin sitting beside waiting for her to go conscious.

"Ruby!" Yang hug him tightly.

"What-what happened?"

Yang let go of her and look away with a sorrowful face. The others are like this as well and remained silent. Ozpin stand up and look at her with an unsettled expression.

"Ms. Rose, it's only been two days since the fall of Beacon and Lucas destroying Vale then defeating Caym and taking over the kingdom........" He stopped.

"Wait, where's Y/N?!"

"He....... He's gone now, Ruby." Blake said tears falling down on her eyes.

When she heard this tears started falling on her face and she clutched on the blanket. The others then left the room leaving Ruby, Yang, Weiss, Blake, Neo, Velvet and Ozpin.

"Why?" Ruby said to herself as she cried even more.

"He sacrifice himself for us....." Velvet said.

"I thought he said he will always be here with us?" Weiss said.

"We have nothing to do now. Beacon has fallen, Lucas taking over Vale, Y/N being gone now." Yang said.

"We still have something to do." Ozpin said.

"What do you mean?" Ruby ask.

"We have to stop Lucas and reform everything back."

"But you saw how he is strong right? Even Y/N's dad got defeated."

"At least we have to do something to prevent him." Blake said.

"She's right. What do you say Ruby?"

"Right, we'll do it."

"But for now, get some rest Rubes." Yang said and the girls left leaving Ruby and Ozpin alone.

"How are you doing right now, Ms. Rose?"

"I'm fine."

"That's good to hear. Let me ask you something, do you remember anything before you were unconscious?"

"Well........... I was just about to go back to Y/N until I saw him fading then next thing I knew it, he was.......... gone....."

"What else did you remember?"

"I....... I saw his dad, getting stab by the sword then it looked like he got sucked by it."

"I see......... That's all I need to know. By the way, do you remember what the words that I first said about you?"

"Uhmm..... I don't know, but I think it was something about-"

"Silver eyes. Now I wanted to tell you about those eyes of yours. Silver eyes are mainly an extremely rare trait. Silver eyed warriors were meant to lead the life of a warrior in Remnant hundreds of years ago. They were the once who were feared even by Grimm. You are special, Ruby. Just like your mother."

"Just like my mom?"

"Indeed, that's why you were able to scare Lucas off. I'll let you know this, his next target will be Mistral."

Then he left the room, leaving her to puzzle it all out and get some rest.

Everyone didn't talk to each other because they were still devastated by Y/N's death mostly his girlfriends.

Two weeks later, all of them just decided to part ways and meet again in Mistral for the next half a month.

With Ruby, Weiss, CFVY and JNPR walking their way towards Mistral, Team MECN staying with Salem in the Grimm Realm to comfort her but will soon head their way there. Blake, Yang and Sun deciding to head towards Menagerie which is Blake's hometown. Raven returning back to her tribe and watch over the others. Then Qrow and Ozpin, deciding to follow Ruby and her gang to keep watch of her.

And so another journey began. What will they do to accomplish this mission of theirs? Will they sacrifice their lives for the sake of others? Will a hero rise? Or a villain? Nobody knows. But there is one thing that they know.

...Only time will tell...
